At best Naruto would have likely found Hinata's love flattering and be happy to receive it, but that doesn't mean he's lose all feelings for Sakura. Do you like every guy/girl that likes you? Sakura's emotions are very human like, she fell for sasuke young, he treated her poorly but she forgave him because of her feelings when young, but eventually as they grew up her feelings for him were complicated. Naruto, being her best friend and always there for her, eventually made her start to develop feelings for him. which was shown throughout shippuden. Getting over your first love, understanding who you are as a person is a lesson most humans struggle with. Sakura struggled with this. Naruto fell for her at the start and just being on missions together and spending almost everyday together, definitely fell for her more and more. If we only look at this as a NaruHina ship then Kishi is bad at romance but if we looked at this from NaruSaku ship, we see how good he actually can be. All the little set ups, the emotional scenes, the drama, the pain, the sacrifices they made even at the cost of eachother etc, you'd see Kishi actually did a really good job., up to the war arc. Once that hit, he just did whatever. I don't really like romance in shounen but I'll be lying if I said that NaruHina was any good.

Rewatch the movie if you wanna know. He does mention it, but since he had no way to differentiate types of love, he had no idea what she meant. He acknowledged that she loved him, she said it, but he thought she was being a good friend, like he always thought she was. Like in the chunin exams. Godly thank you I have told so many people that we learn love from our parents so if we don’t have one than we can only see others love and try and guess what it is. It's hard to be a NaruSaku shipper if Sakura herself is a NaruHina shippeer

But the problem is Naruhina was never planned by Kishi believe it or not 😐 Kishi planned until the last minute for Narusaku to be endgame, he fucked up the last arc of Naruto Shippuden with the appearance of Kaguya so to control the damage he used the pairings and since Naruhina was the most popular pair he was obliged to choose that pair to "save" his series and to please the fans..Naruhina was never programmed Naruto had always feelings for Sakura through all the story Kishi always chowed us Naruto's love for Sakura even Sakura changed in a positive way for Naruto she started liking him in a different way..the story never chowed us Naruto's love for Hinata never ever the story always chowed us Narusaku the end was really bad and the pairings not really satisfied with Naruhina and Sasusaku they are forced and artificial they not correspond with the manga

After the promise of a lifetime she grew to respect and depend on Naruto and then kishimotto made us think she was falling for Naruto by accepting his date requests, side comments from yamato,minato etc etc tons of naru saku evidence that the pairing was being developed and going somewhere, even after Hinata's scene in the pain arc we still got a Naru saku hug with the villagers whistling. Honestly Kishimotto went beyond "trolling" the fans, he flat out lied to them so they would keep reading hoping for their favorite ship.

Kushina never said "get a girl like me". She said "get a girl as simple as me". You narusaku shippers always leave that part out. Everybody who met Kushina and Naruto said that they act the same. Two Kushinas in a relationship? That would never work. Hinata was like Minato (quiet, sweet, a little bit of a stalker), Naruto like Kushina. And we all know that Kushina and Minato were goals. Hinata was what she would have liked for his son. A girl as simple and loving as her. That was never Sakura.

Timothy Biggers Jr only because of his childish ambitions it wasn't serious like dating someone for 3 years from 5-7 Doesn't make it even close to evidence for their in love and neither of them would have any reason to like each other Sakura maybe only because he's saved her for about 67 times which isn't love and Naruto probably only liked he cause she liked sasuke or she was pretty just like a child would

They were on the same team & the only time Sakura showed to have feelings for Naruto was when she asked have you been with a woman 3 years after he came back with Jiraya, which lasted about 15 seconds & it wouldn't have mattered anyway because of their reunion with Sasuke. She also said that Hinata was the 1 who really loved Naruto when she was healing her after Hinata's battle against Pein. Naruto didn't 💘 Sakura. He had a crush on her as did Rock Lee as shown when they 1st met & when he was sent in Madara's IT not to mention in the Last Movie it was shown that it was nothing, but another way to prove he was better than Sasuke.
