I could never even get into his content to begin with. His demeanor is just kinda... offputting? Like he's "oh so much better than you because HE can watch all this gorey stuff and Totally Not Be Phased By It, I Swear" and also the paygating of content that anyone could find for free is kinda ick. I'm glad more people are coming around to this POV.

I’d like to heavily recommend Nyx Fears. She handles these things in a way that is educational, respectful, and eye opening. It really changed the way I interacted with morbid content, and helped me stay away from watching videos that would probably scar me for life
Glad someone called this dude out. I used to watch him regularly because of my morbid curiosity. He was ok at first but when he started to grow bigger that's when he also showed his true colors. He became even more edgier and started to poke fun of people's death like it's purpose is for amusement only. But what really soured me off from him is his hypocrisy. He made a video about how he loves and respect the lgbt people yet this is also from the same guy who treats victims like pieces of meat and also disgustingly sells reaction videos of them. Talk about heavily contradicting himself and that really turned him unwatchable for me. He's like the equivalent of bestgore comments section if it became a youtuber now.
Plagued Moth’s downward spiral is his own fault. He got himself banned from Patreon, Twitter, and RU-vid. On top of that, I’m glad I unsubbed him when I did.
I unsubscribe a while back. The way he tries to get other creators to talk to him, and the victim mentality he has was just to much for me. Also he'd editing sucked and his community was full of weirdos.

I used to watch his videos but I stopped because I noticed that he literally has no empathy for any of the victims that are being unalived. He shows innocent ppl getting murrdered and just gets off on it. I just felt uneasy about the whole thing. He is just so dark. It's literally not normal.

I only enjoy disturbing content so long as it's treated with respect. Disturban and his other channel, Disturban History, covers topics that are either obscure crime cases or in the case of Disturban History, topics not taught in schools such as the Ustasa and their brutal persecution of the Serbians in WWII. The difference being that Disturban treats these topics with respect and that's why I enjoy it. Moth was using disturbing gore for content while not censoring the audio of these gore videos which led to truly uncomfortable situations (only video I saw from him was the cartel chainsaw video because RU-vid recommended it to me. I wanted to vomit after the audio ended because it was truly awful to hear)
I would be fine with Moth making these kinds of videos as long as he was being respectful to the victims and using it more as journalism than making light of horrible acts of violence. Especially makes me angry that he's profiting off of suffering. And those T-shirts... WTF???

I standby a statement I made in a previous vid about how great you are with your "Needs to Stop" videos. You are always so thorough with your investigations, your evidence, your counterpoints, and you're always trying to make sure that what you're presenting is clear, fair, and accurate. You do a fantastic job in exposing terrible, unethical, and corrupt behavior in so many of your videos. It cannot be easy to put together a proper defense for your credibility and character in the face of such backlash, but you managed your usual TCR quality investigations. I'm glad that you admit the mistakes you had made during all of this, that you managed to stay calm and articulate your defense against Moth during this vid, and, best of all, that you've been taking care of yourself. Yep, I can attest, it was his needs to stop of creepsmcpasta, the damn pedophile, that finally got me to stop watching him. It sucked too as i had been watching and subscribed for a good decade. I even saw his apology. There are a few narrations he has made that no one else really has and i would occasionally try to go back and listen to those, but I cant. His voice just sickens me now.
I was originally a fan of moth rather than TCR or Slimebeast until I realized how much lack of information Moth put into his slimebeast video. I tried tweeting him mentioning the deviant art dms slime had proving the "alleged girl" told slime she was 20 in 2005 to question him if he saw it or not. He proceeded to block me 3 seconds into seeing my tweet, hid my tweet, and had his wife argue with me for him. I made my own video that pretty much critiqued everyone in this situation at an unbiased view and they still found a way to say I was being biased. I was pretty heavy with my critiques on both slime and TCR yet they still came to me level headed and were absolutely open to talk with me. Moth clearly wasn't.

Honestly of all the people Im subscribed to, Moth 'begs' the most of all of them. Hes always talking about his troubles, his bills, his kids bills and issues. He makes his debt public and is always telling people how hes struggling. He makes HIS problems his subscribers problems often. Its strange to me though his whole youtube 'career' is watching people die horrifically and reviewing the videos like its a movie review? I have to say his 'Infamous Four' documentaries are really well done, I wish he would have leaned more toward detailed docs about horrific events rather than reaction videos. Its like the difference between a detailed documentary about the 9/11 jumpers to tell their stories, and just watching 9/11 footage and laughing while watching people jump. Moth seems to make his bread and butter laughing at the jumpers for money.

He's vile, I watched a few of his videos out of morbid curiosity but something always struck me as off about him, as in how he always seemed...a bit *too* enthusiastic about these awful things happening to people, if you know what I mean. I stopped watching him when I saw the video where you can literally hear a baby being beaten. The sound of that baby literally haunted me and I couldn't sleep from it. The fact he has kids too and watches that sits with me very wrong. No accusing them of anything but it's just weird.
The last interaction I hate with this POS was when one of his videos showed up in my recommendations even after I unsubbed from him after he started a harassment campaign against you and Lazy. This was during the cat…you know what video and he had a video about it with a cat in the middle of being tortured as the thumbnail. I’m hypersensitive to anything involving animals, like this alone left me in a hysterical state. Having been subbed to Moth for a while now, i kinda fell off about half a year ago. No real reason. Just didnt follow his stuff as i used to. It was the whole patreon thing and him being gender fluid i unfortunately got back Being trans myself, i know they arent the same thing but i have this big disdain and disrespect for those that use their identity, whatever kind it may be, as a form of shield against criticism and such It honestly bothers me to a deep level and when i saw him using it as his morality shield, that was when i full stopped. The issue with lying to get people to harass people you don't like is that the hate list will grow until you have very few, if any allies, especially if to get on that hate list, you target people who criticize you. Lying will be found out about, and people will turn against Moth for these reasons. I hope eventually they'll realize and improve themself, but I'm not holding my breath
The craziest part of this whole situation is that, if PM’s channel was ever seen by anyone reporting for a news network, regardless of PM’s intentions, easily could’ve caused a massive adpocolipse. Imagine major news networks telling non-internet people about Gore Reaction videos on RU-vid, and just how devastating that would be to this entire platform, or how advertisers would react to being shown in front of such vile content.

My personal experience regarding him is that I always had concerns about him due to his absolute lack of empathy and respect, and the whole selling g0re thing. But I had to immediately unsubscribe from him after the child @buse mixtapes, I had thought he would be way more shaken up about watching videos like that due to the fact that he’s a parent. Honestly quite unfortunate that plagued moth got censored and deplatformed by youtube. Freedom of speech in it's purest form should valued and protected and cherished im just kidding rip bozo, don't come back.
Don't feel rough about it because I feel the same way as you did when I was on Moth's side until I found out his channel's termination and learned more about his true color. Let's be thankful that we are in TCR's side now.
I've been following this whole situation on the side ever since the first Lazy Bedhead video. The fact that Moth really keeps digging that grave deeper and deeper is just so sad. It could be so easy to stop and apologize, to change. But all he does is find every little excuse as to why all criticism is a direct attack to him, his work, and his family.
I personally would like to apologize to you TCR for my harsh and sudden reaction to your moth livestream I watched it after hearing about how moth and his family was struggling with financial troubles. Now after seeing your video I see that you had the right intentions to report his page and you didn't think it would get it taken down. I also learned in this video the werid thing about plagued where I don't know if it just me but it does seem like moth gets really angry and hateful towards any criticism flug his way and just gets extremely toxic towards the critic and accuses them of everything in the book and claim that they are attacking his family. To me this is a bad sign because it makes me think he is hiding something bad or he is just really suffering from poor mental health and just can't read the room and realize he may be the problem all along and change for the better. The last thing I will say is I really hope Plagued Moth realizes he needs to change for the better for the sake of himself and his family.

I had enough of Moth the moment I was like “Ight boss… this isn’t funny. Have respect on those who were killed” then he proceeded to tell me to calm down and it wasn’t that bad. im a trans guy and former kiwi, and his page wasn't people attacking his gender. in fact, it started before he came out as genderfluid, and when he did "come out," it was people thinking he was pretending to be trans to shield from criticism. if she was actually a trans woman in their eyes, she'd be railed much harder against. their main concern is his using his children as a meat shield, they think kids shouldn't be online, especially when thrown into public eye by parents. the second t slur is actually NOT a slur in origin, although it is nowadays. it started as a term for trans people trying way too hard to be edgy on sites like something awful, as it literally means "trans goon" (goon = something awful user)

Yeah, I used to watch and was subbed to his patreon. I was kicked out of the discord with no reason given. I think the rumor was he was scared of inactive people being spies.
Tbh I've always felt icky about him, but I just couldn't stop watching him due to my morbid curiosities and fixation on him. Now that I know this I am DEFINITELY against him, imagine being so vile that he laughs at peoples death 😭.
I watched him a lot back in like 2021, for the same reasons of morbid curiosity His personality quickly started to piss me off and then how he would react or talk about the videos started to make me upset. I used to frerquently watch Moth's videos. I hadn't contributed to it with any money, so i wasn't part of his Patreon, but I had joined his Discord server before it went behind a paywall for which i could stay (until... i've been kicked off for no reason one day, during one of my no-social-media weeks no less). i would've possibly been described as a "gorehound", but i wasn't watching his videos because of some kind of pleasure or feeling of superiority, like "hurr durr y'all're poosays i'm the real g i watch people die"; i was watching it while i had humanity's biggest, kindest achievents in my mind while i looked at the other end of this spectrum known as the human experience. It was a self-indulgent philosophical project. At the beginning, the stuff "we" saw was often new to us both - to Moth and the viewers, or we'd look at more well-known gore/shock videos from another angle. However, as time passed, more underground and brutal stuff came to life. Moth had lost all of his previous respect to the victims, unless it involved sewer slide (sorry for the celf censor, comments do get flagged too sometimes). I vividly remember, that one of his 'goremas' videos contained, and i half assedly quote, "funny deaths" or "funny ways to die" where the og video would have shitty meme audio all throughout people dying. Moth was giddily laughing along as if he was filming a fail compilation reaction. I'm completely on your side, TCR.

Side note from the video, hearing NDLMongoose narrating on a RU-vid video is so nostalgic for me. I remember being 13 and watching Tats creepypasta videos and both yours and his voices in particular always being my favorites.
This really upsets me, as someone who has consumed a lot of horror content for years, from Creepypasta readings/enacments, to some true crime, to reviews, i've seen the community of horror content expand and flourish, but also suffer, since the content is literally about stuff that can cause fear and discomfort. You tube is not kind to horror content creators and having someone bringing hardcore stuff into a very sensitive platform in such a unethical way is just a massive deservice to the community who, more likely than not, will suffer the consequences for him.
I'm convinced that anyone who makes videos about people being brutally murdered while treating it like a joke is mentally ill. The "I use humor to cope" excuse doesn't make it any better.
not only mentally ill, but it shows that there's an obvious disconnect between emotions and empathy which reflects that they likely would never be willing to get proper psych help. they'll just continue to be edgy
There are loads of RU-vid channels that explore morbid and disturbing videos. But they all attempt to be tactful and respectful. Moth is watching videos of children being murdered and getting giddy like a child on Christmas Day. He’s truly fucked in the head. Great video Creepy
RU-vid is kinda trash for this tbh, you can get recommended one side who is much bigger and is the wrong person on a situation and first impressions are hard to dismantle.
I used to be a big fan of plagued moth but the comments he made regarding certain videos always rubbed me the wrong way. And for a long time I was in denial about the accusations because I only ever listened to his side. But the more I gave it thought the more everything started to make sense to me. The reason I stuck around was for the background and deep dives into the videos talked about out of morbid curiosity and the fact that there’s not many other people who make the type of content because of that I just accepted that he wasn’t the best person but he was the only one who talked about what he did that I was aware of at the time. Upon reflection I realize that I shouldn’t have just brushed off the incredibly disrespectful comments he made about videos shown. I honestly can’t say I want him to get screwed over in life, I just hope he reflects on himself and gets better.
