Thank you for the information! I am a permanent resident. I would like to visit my aging parents and family in southeast asia for 4-5 weeks, and come back. So it sounds like I would not need to apply form I-131. Other than my green card, any other documents I need when I come back, if I were to go visit family for 4-5 weeks?
