Long runs are the laboring part of training, at least for me. I'm not a quick guy to cover 20-30 km fast. Long run for me means 4-5 hours on the trails. But there is something beautiful about it all, nature is the fix for my eyes, head, and I reap some other benefits like building strength and endurance and general happiness. I run them to rest.
