@@Chasin_BaitmanNo. We don't all go out the same way. Some people die in the gutter with a needle in their arm alone and forgotten having enjoyed the moment. They gave away their soul and left nothing behind. Some people die surrounded by family and loved ones in a warm bed mourned and missed having worked hard and sacrificed to make life better for others. They keep their soul and name alive. Big difference.
Right cuz he turned into a catholic and christian with each role and American Honey screwed him up too. And he manipulated Sia into an affair and wanted to marry her just bc they did that music video. Dude is batshit crazy😂😂😂

@@shadic187I know he came out saying he lied about his dad being as bad as he portrayed him in that movie. Maybe other stuff, idk tho. He had a bunch of tattoos and this was not immediately noticed until Indoc at the combat training tank (the big pool in Coronado). @@justinthisworld2754 dont forget death related words too like KILL, DIED, DIE, DEATH etc. And any words that are just a bit related to violence. They be censoring those now like they are slurs
Excellent Excellent point at the end dude. People believe "humble egotists" too easily. I think people pay attention to the loudmouth and confessional villains so they can rest easier ignoring the bad people who choose not to say anything. And then they assume people like Shia are just good men on a "journey"...
Important to point out this kind of empathy is mostly only extended to men. A woman could not do all that shia did and still: 1. Be alive 2. Be Outside
He literally beat tf out a woman and joined a gang while being a raging alcoholic and gets the biggest pity party. Not tryna hate but its crazy how much we let slide when somebody's "talented"
The OP and thread is so well written. Shia is a pathological liar and abusive. I wish there was good in him but nah hes a master manipulator right up there with amber heard. Hes a “dark empath” and the worst kind of Gemini like Kanye. Sean Penn called him a wordsmith for a reason. Hes so darkly empathetic and knows how to reel in a person then break them down smh
Dont forget that in order to "toughen up" for the role, his ex said he would shoot stray dogs from his car. I know its his ex, but I believe it after watching the video of his arrest. dude is unhinged in the worst way
using his value system it seems like a good thing. you probably won't respect it, though. the dynamic between intrinsic thought and extrinsic thought is nuanced & highly variable. Do you know what social contingency is?
Shia saying he sees other people as stepping stones to get to higher places is such classical sociopath thinking. I wonder what kind of diagnoses he would receive from an actual psychiatrist who knew all the relevant details. Excellent video, man. A lot of details I didn't know.
He's in deep with the underbelly of the industry, who all absolutely think like this. "I'm hungry, must fill hole inside" is all they know. I climbed down some very deep rabbit holes to try to understand and have only recently managed to crawl out. Difficult to explain unless you start to research too
You kind of answered your own question in the comment. I'm guessing he would be diagnosed with either "Narcissistic Personality Disorder", or "Antisocial Personality Disorder" (which is just the official psychiatric term for a socio or psychopath now) Basically anyone who is Ambitious to the point of "Using other people as stepping stones" to get to the top could show indications of being somewhere in those two spectrums. So essentially ever actor and politician...
I’m not a psychiatrist, but I am a scientist who works with mentally ill people, specifically with personality disorders (studying the therapeutic effects of psilocybin mushrooms). He definitely has narcissistic patterns. Poor perception and delineation of appropriate boundaries. Patterns of dependency on drugs and other people. Control and abuse of partners indicating a psychosexual complex. So 100% chance of a personality disorder. I don’t think he’s a true psychopath. He’s too erratic. Could add complex ptsd and a pattern of escapism and dissociation via acting and substance abuse. Whether he’s a sociopath or not would depend on the pattern of his violence, its frequency, application and purpose. Whether he’s borderline would depend on the purpose of his manipulativeness. Whether it’s in the service of purely ambition or to ease a neurotic fear. Don’t know enough to give a conclusive opinion, and again, I’m not a psychiatrist, but those are some of the variables a psychiatrist would consider.
Oh, and psychopaths can be erratic, but the ones that are tend to be low intelligence. And Shia wears his smarts on his face, like many narcissists do.
He also beats his waifish gf, apparently. EVERYTHING you need to know about a man. And Im another man saying that. I've never needed to beat a woman and I never will

Fun fact - Shia Lebouf is and has been a HUGE fan of the underground rapper CAGE ( may know him from his beef with Eminem) to the point where hes shoot music videos for him for free and was planning to make a biopic film on his life. Cage is a pioneer of both horrorcore and emo rap. He raps about a lot of drugs, violence, , depression ,Childhood truama etc.. if you listen to cage you can get a glimpse of his mindset.
@boyruns spelling nazi ova here. You damn well know that was due to autocorrect. That person probably didn't correct it because it's the innanets and we use context clues, no grades on the innanets 😂 Edit: stoopid😂
One time, Shia was found hanging out at a party on the reservation in the middle of Navajo lands. My friends were asking him what he's doing there. He was sitting on the couch just drinking and responded, I'm just hanging out.
The method has done irreversible damage to what we consider good acting. Good actors can inhabit a role without terrorizing their cast mates and harming their health. Method acting is a crutch and an unhealthy one at that.
