Buffing her damage is a no go. I think it would be a great idea to have extra movement speed during stealth and a source meter like Drogoz, Nando, etc. Additionally, they should add something extra to her current smoke bomb; I remember the good old days when the smoke bomb at least did some cheap damage when you threw it (It was due to a talent, I think... I do not recall. Still, it was pretty fun playing around it). Your idea with the teleporting smoke bomb is pretty great. Alternatively, two of her talents could be reworked: Preparation and Smoke & Daggers; for that I have no idea, but I am reading some fresh ideas in the comments.

It was the old smoke and dagger , the smoke dealed 500 dmg upon activation , it was great to secure kills and get on moving , since it made you invisible

On movies and other media, it's very common to see Ninjas using smoke bombs as a way of escaping a place, basically teleporting, so imo it would make sense to rework Skye's smoke like this: when you use it, she sets a smoke point on the ground, using it again creates another point, and entering one of them would teleport you to the other one, (yeah, basically like Dredge's teleport, and this would be "easy" for them to make because they already have the assets)

I think it would be interesting if rather than buffing her damage (something Hi-Rez is clearly afraid of) they could try a different path and improve her natural abilities instead, aim for changes to key elements on her abilities. A set of small improvements that would improve her playstyle. 1.- add a passive that lowers/silences her footsteps. Not being heard is also a way of invisibility, being able to sneak behind an enemt without them hearing your steps would improve her playstyle too. 2.- a passive that removes or considerably lower the sfx when entering or breaking out of invisibility up to a certain range. The sound effects is such a big deal in high elos, it literally says "hey im skye im here please turn around, HEY!" 3.- A passive that counters Illuminate and revealing abilities. In Elder Scrolls Online, invisibility works with proximity too BUT you can counter the detection radious through sets, so instead of naturally getting revealed while being 5m close to your enemy they need to get even closer to detect you because you can equip sets that lower your detection radius. In Paladins, she would need to get closer to strix's flare to get revealed, maybe Tyra's hunter mark would need to be cast closer to mark her (you can negate Skye's invisibility a whole match with that thing), and so on 4.- Smoke and Dagger shouldnt heal. Why make skye a support/flank hybrid. Please no. A teleport ability would be amazing for both engaging and running. 5.- innate movement speed on her Hidden. Suggested to many times and a must. The fact that you have to invest card point into making it more effective (even viable I'd say) just doesn't work. As a Skye main I really hope devs fix her soon

A good idea that i have is -For the weapon to deal a bit more damage if someone is poisoned (Although the poison darts has a slightly higher cooldown) -The poison dart to have a card (or talent) so it heals her depending on how much shots she hit while it was active on a target (Or just make it regen her slightly) -The smoke to Else, deal poison damage to enemy's, or give them a small blind effect inside it (Likely a new talent) -For the sound effect of her leaving her invisible form, not be so loud, to be way quieter because you can hear her crossmap when she gets out of her invisibility -Her ultimate to explode a bit faster, but dealing less damage on shields (Its supposed to kinda be a one-shot kill on most targets but its pretty much useless most of the times said targets ALL have something to counter it, unless the enemy is straight up AFK) -Or just change her ultimate to be kinda like a fragmentation grenade? Explodes in many poison darts

My ideas Poison darts reduce targer damage 2% per dart or a flat 10% 15% with debilirate Preperation should drop smoke bomb whenever you go stealth underneath you reducing all cooldown by 2 seconds Reverse smoke and daggering add movement in smoke to base and change the card to attack speed or lifesteal Ult should either have a faster blow up rate or 2 charges but reduce radius or less damage Out of combat speed card replaced with ult generation Stealth has a 15% increase speed base Damage from behind a enemy deals additional damage

I really like youre idea with smoke bomb. I think it would be nice if it didnt teleport you instant so you can outplay youre opponents by throwing youre smoke bomb then activate invis. This way they gonna think you teleported but youre just invis wich leaves u with another way to outplay. I really liked this video keep it up 'ω'

Maybe they could make that a card to have a delay on smoke bomb? Or make smoke bomb to where you throw it and press Q again within 5 seconds to teleport!

Don't forget that when you use Victory Rush with Dissipate in the same deck, they cancel each other out and until the end of the game you only get Victory Rush effect and Dissipate stops workingl. I've reported this bug to EM like 15 times and never got a reply. I think it's supposed to be a hidden nerf. Also after Skye gets a rework, I think it's time to talk about Moji.

My Skye rework that would probably never happen because it's almost a full rework & evil mojo wouldn't put in this much effort. But here goes. Hidden - removed. Smoke Bomb - smoke bomb & hidden are combined. On activation she snaps her fingers and a cloud of smoke bursts around her. Her invisibility is permanent unless hit by any hard CC or she fires or uses any ability. - Poison Bolts. damage from each poison bolt now ignores shields and is considered true damage. Making it the go to for tank busting specifically. This also counts for deployed shields her bolts would go through them like they aren't there. New ability "Twilight Step" - Skye throws a dagger (like the ones clearly visible on her outfit) piercing through all enemies hit and stopping on any wall/ground/or ceiling hit. The dagger will persist for 7s. During that duration she can reactivate to teleport it becoming a projectile herself harming any she goes through (like Corvus) if she let's the timer hit 0 it will just disappear. New ultimate "Assassin's Dance" - Skye leaps into the air dashing forward and spinning around throwing exploding daggers around her as she spins the dagger will deal small amounts of damage and stick into targets hit. On reactivate Skye will snap her fingers and the daggers will explode dealing damage per dagger in an aoe. Talents. Debilitate - Poston bolt augment. Should an enemy die while under the effect of poison bolt the cooldown of poison bolt will be Reset. The previous damage bonus Poison bolt got from this will be added to base Poison Bolt so this doesn't feel like it's a must have. Smoke and Dagger - activating Smoke bomb now blinds all enemies around Skye for 1.5s. Enemies hit while blinded take 10% more damage from all sources. Preparation* now called "Twilight's Shadow" - using Twilight Step before the 7s are up will refund the remaining seconds to the abilities cooldown. (Base CD is 10s) if the dagger is allowed to sit for the full 7s it will explode dealing aoe damage and slowing all enemies hit. giving her a slow grenade or a shorter teleport CD. I know this was long but I've been a fan of Skye since launch and I really want her to be good again. So any thought please let me know. Thanks for reading 😀

I don’t think these changes are too nice. You’re just making her into discount sombra. There’s a simple simple way to fix her. 1. Native speed buff when ever she’s invis 2. Smoke actually emits smoke again 3. Give her a passive climb effect like koga. Skye’s debilitate should be her anti tank build, prep should be her native speed build and smoke and dagger should be reworked entirely. I can play skye with the right comp even on scrims and she can be good if she’s used right. Currently it’s just incredibly hard to do so. She’s basically a tank shredder right now.

Her other 2 talents need a rework. People only use delibate. Smoke and Dagger could add a poison effect to foes while heal to allys. Peperation was good before the rework. The additional cooldown was perfectly fine.

I disagree with the preparation one. that was only great in low elo lobbies and majority of the playerbase are. High elo players won't let you get a kill and they know how to get rid of skye with ease. Damage Reduction is really important in this game and haven is considered the best item by high elo players. Tho preparation skye has a nerfed ability 'hidden' with short duration and unable to lower cooldown with cards, it still gives 75% damage reduction.

The only thing bad about the talent is because they nerfed her stealth or hidden ability with that talent. I feel like removing that nerf would be good for that talent. I think she needs less ammo cards and rework them. they should add a card where she gets reduced cooldown when she gets an elimination. probably like buck.

I commented with some ideas of a rework on a Kirbz video. More radical changes than your suggestions. Short form I think I said: Put her poison bolts as part of her primary fire and reduce base damage on primary for the bolts themselves. And increase range a bit. But less % hp ofc. Vora has built in DOT even on shields why not Skye. And put something else on secondary. I think I said give her wall climb like Koga. Smoke and dagger nerf was awful. Change Hidden to a grappling vine thing like Grover or whatever. Smoke bomb is okay I think but make it do some light DOT and light heals built in

Yeah Skye is definitely one of the worst characters in the game. shes only good in low elo since players lack teamwork, never communicate, lack awareness, or they just don't know how to buy illuminate nor how to counter her. her kit is so bad and her lack of mobility as a flank is awful. And in general "annoying" doesn't mean that they're a good character.

I believe that the damage can be left as it is, but the movement speed should really be doubled. This is 100%. With regard to teleportation from a smoke bomb, this is nonsense. Because while the smoke bomb is flying, it will be killed 10 times! And even then it will be inconvenient to be treated. Now I often use both smoke bombs under me in order to heal in time, as a kind of first aid kit, it's very convenient - seriously! What I would really do - in general, I would replace the smoke bomb with teleportation, like a sniper girl. BUT. in return, I would give two invisibility charges for Skye, reduce the recharge of these charges to make it more comfortable, and of course increase the speed in invisibility twice. That's enough! (Of course I would add a card for treatment in invisibility)

both skye and Jenos have weird shit going on with their ults for me where they will activate early because of a desync. Like you won't hear the entirety of it play through, and you'll just hear a part of it and it will go off preemptively on your screen. Usually when that doesn't happen I can just walk to safety mostly casually.

as a cloak and dagger user in tf2, i 100% agree with making her hidden permanent. she's an opportunist, she needs to wait for the right moment to go in or else she'll get popped. punishing patience is the exact opposite of what you want to do!

As a Skye main (I know...gross). I love her play style, but she definitely needs help. Here are some thoughts I have: - Her damage is fine. I can melt tanks, shields and deployables if properly supported by my team. It could use a drop off tweak though. Maybe half of what the current drop off is but it needs a change. - Stealth should be a resource like Drogoz or Strix. It would be so nice to be able to stealth to close distance break it and then stealth back up to escape. Let me manage the resource not some timer. - Smoke bombs should trigger her stealth resource meter. This is mostly just a thought but let smoke bomb be the stealth mechanic and change 'F' to be a proper escape. Maybe a shadow walk of some sort where she goes invisible and is immune but can't attack. I feel like teleporting is overdone and obnoxious. And get rid of the super loud "SKYE IS HERE" un-stealth noise. - Change her ult to be a poison bomb or a circle/fan of knives style attack that applies her poison to everyone around her reducing healing and doing some damage. This could be tossed or area around her but it should be relatively instant. - Bump her speed. I can wreck a team with Skye even if they have illuminate but to get there I have to invest in Nimble 2-3 and life rip 2-3. Life rip I get but for a character that's supposed to be a stealth assassin, she's slow as hell without cards and items. - Stop the random targeting abilities hitting me or revealing me while stealthed. Seriously, this one is so annoying. Viktor ults, I'm pretty sure I've been hit by Lian's abilities, the DoT reveals, SAATI's FUCKING COIN. I already have to dip, duck and dodge so much just to be nabbed by the random Saati coin or sensor. Stealth should at least affect the range at which sensors detect me. Oh and fuck Barik's turrets. I feel like those damn things have Reveal 3 built in. I'll get pinged by those outside my optimum range.

Great video! I've been defending the idea Skye should be less of a noob slayer and more of a intel gather kind of character. With reliable mobility, solid escape mechanics and mid damage at best. Also, for a Smoke and Daggers main like myself, a decent secondary healer.

They took away her cooldown resets, that's the reason I don't even play her anymore, she has no momentum left. About what could be done, I'm thinking that they should give her just movement in general, in a way that when you earn the first kill, it just snowballs into more and more kills, and the way to do that is if you're hard to hit, and right now, Skye moves like her dump is too heavy (honestly, her running animation LOOKS like that too). So just give Skye a way to get in and out of trouble, that's what the archetype is all about

I think your ideas are really good, but I would take the teleport from her smoke when she chooses the smoke and dagger talent so that it really encourages a drastic change in the way she is played so that it is a real and only support talent, but ofc give her the invis back as well as buff the healing again. Maybe lower the duration the smoke lasts but increase the healing as well as decreasing the cooldown, so that it functions in a similar way as dambas gore when he chooses the talent for only healing (ofc dont make it the same but a little weaker since it can provide the effects of your cards as well)

my strategy for skye is throw smoke at the backline. try to kill or poke dmg. If im in danger,hide in the smoke or just go hidden and hide anywhere

this video is very good and it shows the exact problem skye has. Im level 152, and i play with 2 friends who are between level 50 and 60. If a enemy picks skye (no matter if he plays her ,,good“ or bad) its always the same. I easily kill her with basically any character while my friends get angry about the character being too OP and unfair. Skyes core mechanic is just unhealthy.

Yeah she's stationary, huge hitbox, hitscans melt her, cripples makes her unable to move well and everyone will shoot, ult nerfed so many times and its slow, point tank talent needs rework. I think kth, chronos, haven, resilience, veteran, and sometimes morale boost is good on her.

I kinda like that Skye has short range as an experience, rather then being good. It make her more 'surprisey' when she is in your face like that, and gives you the good ol' adrenaline rush. Honestly, if they make her gain good movement speed on her hidden as base kit, and give it 2 charges so she can go in and out, she'd be good. And maybe increase the price of illuminate a tad A teleporting smoke screen also sounds very cool. And to add to the aesthetic of it, another smoke screen should be deployed at her feet when the first one lands before she teleports. Kinda like a disappearing magician And an extremely minor, but important change to me, is to finally change the name of smoke and daggers. The name doesnt even fit thematically anymore, compared to when it did damage

Id give her cc, fearing enemys out of stealth, in a small radius only ofc. The smoke bomb should slow enemys, making it mire utility heavy, and being non-ignirable, also slowing ults like koas, bk, you catch the drift. Her poison bolts do way less dmg, but slow on hit, stacking like with shas rapid shot card, dont make it easy for her to escape, but make it hard asf to run away. Double her range, to force her to make the decision to stay away and be more safe, or get the extra cc, easing the kill. Her ult now works more like raums, her throwing the bomb, and then having a 45° cone, doing more dmg, and adding the mixup of her either imidiatly dropping the bomb, or use it to hard zone and throw it upwards

I really don't get how people think Kasumi is "overpowered". Shes just unhealthy like Skye to be honest but more reliable. In the future, she definitely will be like Skye. they're somewhat similar if you look at it. the difference is that Skye is just bad, easily countered, has an awful kit, and just a big flaw while Kasumi is a mess with no aim needed.

Stealth Resource + Stealth Mobility Boost = Yes. Less punishing for new players (the hard and often glitchy cooldown) and eases the learning curve for more complex champions. Smoke Bomb Teleport = Yes. Escape option or Kill Confirm/Chase option. Great. I had a talent idea - Poison Bolts has 3 charges (like Ruckus rockets) and instead imbues her next X0 normal shots, dealing more damage or add some tracking or revealing/slowing down enemies to make her play the role of an assassin better, and be less like a stealth dps with lower numbers.

the damage numbers should not be visible for when you hit an invisible enemy, if any target you hit is invisible you should only get the hitmarker, but not the damage number above it, it is an incredible disadvantage, the The closest experience to this is when you deactivate the year numbers in the gameplay part, since I have this option activated (mainly to have a cleaner gameplay and without things on the screen) and I play against an invisible enemy, I give myself account of the incredible disadvantage that characters with some invisibility ability have, so it becomes a bit more challenging when playing against them without having bought illumite, which only happens with skye since with the rest of the characters it does not Itrlly so necessary, so one of the changes that I would make in its favor is the issue of damage numbers and in general to make illumite a more useful item, in addition to this I think that the issue of mobility is essential. Special and taking advantage of its theme of the guild of a thousand hands, I would add Koga's passive to be able to climb walls, a bit of verticality would be great for the character, I don't think Skye only needs a change in numbers, if not, as you say a change to the character's Core

I stopped playing paladins for 4 months or so, and when I came back, I thought to myself I wanted to play Skye, and obviously, idk what happened during the time lapse but when I did, it was the worst time of my life

if shes gonna be THE stealth character, make her THE stealth character. let her have something like 60-80% movespeed in stealth, and her stealth can ONLY be broken by shooting. the TP on the smoke is great, but give it two charges and then let Smoke and Daggers damage with it. her ult should also be completely replaced. blanket stealth for the team and a poison dmg buff

Honestly prep was her best talent and taking away I feel like it hit her hard. The only viable talent for her at this point is debilate. I used prep as way to keep my movement speed boost off of eliminations up. Increasing her range, her speed while invis, and giving her an invis meter where she it naturally goes back up and can be popped in and out of at anytime would be nice. I think adding a dash, teleport, or true temporary invis (where she cant seen even with talents, abilities, damage, or cards) to her kit upon activating smoke would be perfect. It wouldn't even have to be long 1 or 2 seconds is perfect for maneuvering out of line of sight

Sincerely getting tired of people trashing Skye but not even being close to acknowledge BOTH her strengths and issues. Honestly, I only see people exaggerating her issues and only saying ''she does damage and only close range'' which is already not true because a good Skye sniping a poison with a few shots to apply caut on someone low on HP (aka around 40% HP or a bit less, since poison does 37,5% of HP as dmg as well as few shots to apply caut so you can't heal it), even at range, will kill that person easily and if not low enough to kill, is a solid tool to poke at range. Only small changes would actually be needed and would be enough to make her better. Skye also actually isn't one of the worst characters in Paladins because she excels as a great Tank shredder and actually is a quite good flank as well in the right hands. I see her being played in high ELO frequently enough and doing well ; I have seen quite a few videos of her being played at high ELO/high ranks rankeds as well (Master, GM) and doing well. You just need to master her to help with her issues, like you'd do with any character who isn't broken and has shortcomings, which actually all characters should have, because a champion with no shortcomings automatically is a broken champion (although if badly balanced, a champion with shortcomings can also be broken). Honestly, the only things they should do is actually remove the damage popups showing on stealthed characters they added quite a while back by now because that was a very dumb change overall, actually will reward people with good gamesense to track stealthed characters because they won't be able to randomly spread their weapon out once they hear a Skye using Hidden out of Illum's range and thus be able to track you throughout your stealth without any effort whilst also rewarding Skye players from being unpredictable in their movements so they don't get hit, might want to slightly nerf Illuminate on its cost and/or range, although a good Skye can and will work around it, and give her a passive which boosts her speed by like 20/25% during stealth like Strix now actually has on Nocturnal as mostly a Quality of Life change honestly so she can get to the place she want to get to but without mobility skill. A slight buff to Hidden's cooldown could be nice too but doesn't feel necessary. Also, but that's just because poor balance from Evil Mojo, making her actually have 3 talents instead of only one aka Debilitate (by unnerfing them or just reworking them) as well as talents that could diversify her gameplay would be great. But, I don't ever want to see her base kit reworked nor her actual identity completely destroyed, I don't need a Sombra copy in Paladins nor a completely OP version of Skye in Paladins either and I love the way her current base kit is. She doesn't need a mobility skill to be honest, speed passive would be enough to give her enough ''grounded mobility'' (I know it isn't really considered mobility) and wouldn't make her completely OP on any map without having to thus nerf other parts of her kit like her damage in the case of what you said but I know it would lead to even more than that. I sincerely don't want them to break Skye more than they already did.

Since Illuminate already takes a fat dump on Skye, i don't understand why she even has a duration on her stealth. At least give her perma stealth that lasts until canceled or until you attack or use any other ability, which would trigger a cooldown. Duration on stealth makes no sense on Skye currently.

I disagree here. Since invisibility is strong in Low ELO and weak in High ELO it's impossible to make Skye viable for both. The only way would be to remove invisibility out of the center of her kit and make it a nice to have like with the other S-Champions. As long as her invisibility is what empowers her, this wont work.

At this point just remove iluminate and rebalance the detection radii accordingly. Sky is the only one that it's bought against and once the enemy gets it her hidden is all but usless.

In low elo only. no one bans her in ranked unless you're inexperienced. Shes not a good character. Just because shes "annoying" does not make her meta nor a good champion. she has too many flaws as said in the video.

True but you can use max sensitivity and it won't take a console player long to turn around. Without a doubt pc would turn faster in general but with 7-10 console sensitivity you can stand a chance.

I think she should be able to tp to where her smoke goes. She should get a meter to charge the distance. I didn't look at this vid before thinking of this. But could throw her smoke really high dive and by the time it hits the ground she's gone. Plus you could do other things with it to be more maneuverable. Smoke bomb to TP into poison bolts with the poison bolt card that reduces cool down would add a bit of skill to Skye teleporting everywhere.

While I like what you proposed for a Skye rework, I have to disagree that Sombra is a well designed character. She is designed to be anti-fun by taking your ability to play the game with hack and being invisible all the time. It leads to people either throwing by staying invis all game and getting no value or they get too much value to were the enemy has no real counter play. I believe this is why there is talk about her getting another rework since whenever she is strong or meta the game state is terrible and overly oppressive especially on tanks. Yep, that's what I was thinking when andrew was calling sombra a good design lol I actually think sombra is worse then skye, because sombra is the embodiment of everything they tried to leave in ow1, she has crazy cc, makes tanking unfun, and bullies support and she litterally makes echo and pharah unable to play as well which are two of the funnest heros, while skye just bullies newer players and is pretty dominate on console which I do play and feel she isnt that bad, especially since my main is vora lol

Thanks for pointing that out. I main Skye and her current state is that she is way too situational at high elos which is why we rarely see her or should I say "never" see her. Its very frustrating to play with her against most of the champs who have high mobility, the usual Androxus, Evie, Maeve, Vora, VII, Caspian or Kinessa who can just instantly TP with her talent (omgnightmaresagain) or Octavia who can jump to a safe place while you are stuck downstairs wishing that you were playing a flanker with high mobility instead lol and then we still have Lian and Cassie who can burst you whenever you get out of stealth and can easily get away from you with their dash so you have to be extremely careful which becomes unplayable because Skye is only effective at close range... and then there's also Vivian, Saati and Tyra who can reveal you anytime and some other chars just like you mentionned (even Yagorath can reveal you lol)... and I will also add that playing against a good Makoa will give you nightmares because one single mistake, one bad positionning and you get hooked and die because you have no escape at all. Anyway, its really hard to play with her against really good players because you have to get close without getting close if you get what I mean lol... I understand that she is frustrating to play against when you are new to the game or you just can't deal with stealth characters at all but there should be a way to make her less frustrating to play against at lower elos and still good and playable in the meta. I agree with the buffs but I don't think they will rework her weapon, so if they could at least give her more movement speed only when using the Preparation talent where Hidden will give her 30% move speed (can't increase the speed of Hidden with the card when using this talent) and reduce the CD of Hidden to 10s (can't reduce the cooldown of Hidden with the card while using this talent) and add an unlimited duration while using Hidden (just like Sombra) and whenever you start shooting or get shot you get out of stealth and your skill is on CD as always. These buffs would make her much better as a flanker. Now, I really like the Smoke teleport but it is too good to ever happen so let's just forget about it. I usually start with nimble lvl 2 with Skye because she is way too slow and I can't put movement speed in my deck otherwise I lose self-sustain and CD... I also play OW2 and I main Tracer and sub Sombra and it is true that Sombra feels much better as a flanker than Skye does. Sombra can at least do her job at any elos while Skye can't do her job as a flanker at higher elos against experienced players... so if you wanna play her at high level you will have to play her as a "dmg" and do a lot of poking which sucks because lack of range and other damage champs do better sooo... yh... no point of using her at higher levels unless you really like playing with her or if there's a very specific draft, counters etc

Honestly I think making hidden for sky the same thing that hustle is for Viktor or stellar wind is for jenos is a great idea. For strix a stealth meter makes sense cuz he's a sniper so it has to be limited but sky is literally the twilight assassin and invisibility is her thing. It's so dumb that she has two abilities that make her invis when she could just have one stealth ability that she is free to use whenever. That plus higher movement on it and smoke bomb becoming a one charge teleport w a cooldown is such a good idea, she'd be actually mobile. Also agree on less damage but more range. The fact Skye can kill newbies or casual players before they even notice she's there is really unfun. If evil mojo actually made these changes I'd be so happy!

To further the point, tf2's spy has a resource meter, disguise (its effectiveness is arguable at best but that is a result of far higher player experience.) and an instakill in the form of his backstab. He is the mirrored version of sombra with less mobility but infinitely higher damage. Skye feels stuck in the middle imo.

I would increase her range. Her ultimate creates a huge version of smoke bomb that allows her and her team mates to go invisible for 5 seconds. Her smoke bomb has 2 charges and she throws it however she teleports to where it is and leaves a decoy for the enemies.

no she don'T need longer range... the idea of a stealth killer with poison is: DoTs... you reach in stealth, apply a poison dot and stealth away waiting for the poisong to make it work... only balance the damage and duration so that it couldn't kill anyone with one dart... so would require to be reapplied... and make it so that it doesn'T stack, so the idea of her kit would be slower but safe... stealth maangement to avoid geting kill be requiring to get in close to maintain the dot... also by default it should apply cauterize to prevent target from healing throught her poison so to make it an actual threat. that by default would be more interesting... let's suppose the poison would deal 600 damage over 6 seconds... that's 100/seconds thus 10 damage every 0.1 sec. she would have to shoot each enemies to maintain those dots over and over every 10 seconds... and the issue with dots is they are "killsteal". The idea of poison on a stealth chawpion assassin is just the most logical... poison take time to act and stealth... give you time. that would change her gameplay completly to become more an hit and run harrasser than a rushdown burst and die. it would make player use the stealth in a more complex way than just an engage. as for Smoke bomb it should make her undetectable, and counter reveal at least.

If i had to be honest i think this is a little bit of a bad take, Not because of the ideas, but because of your ample comparitions to sombra makes me think that you dont actually play overwatch enough to know sombras history ever since her inception, sombra has been widely considered to be the worst character in the game, on release she had a 6s stealth, and a 20s duration translocator, on top of it all she couldnt hack while invisible, had more spread, and did farless damage, on top of it all sombras hack lasted like 4s, and did not offer a damage boost, on top of it all the cooldown of her transcolator didnt tick while it was active as it does now, and she had to wait 6s to use it again. sombra on release was a joke of a character, and it took several years (PRE OW2) to get her up to speed with the rest of the cast, with the unlimited translocator and stealth, however even then sombra was trash tier, simply because, she was an utility character that did low damage, she was useful for high ranked players who could make use out of her 4s silence, and a joke for pretty much everyone else, coming overwatch 2, sombra became extremely overpowered and had to get nerfed because her design is not only extremely broken, but actively unfun, going invisible, removing your abilities and deleting you was something no one wants to deal with. right now, sombra is even *weaker* than skye, if you check stats (source: overbuff) sombra has a 40% winrate, while skye even on her weakest talent (smoke and dagger, source, paladins guru) has 49% winrate and on her best (debilitate) has a 55% winrate, indicating skye is a far more viable than sombra is right now. overall while i agree with some of your ideas, your entire argument bases on the premise that sombra is good character design, when in fact, shes absolute garbage tier, and on the days that she was good it only was because she was a broken monster.

They ruined her. The super speed stacking from eons back was her at her best. The skills coming back on kill was also immensely cool and fit her high octane gameplay. Now she does shit damage, stealth is garbage, speed is nerfed. Everything about her is bad.

I tried to play her with full speed cards after I saw this video... didn't like it. Buffing her mid range dmg also the stealth speed card (maybe doubling the speed). And changing the poison bolts to her own buff, or for the team (maybe more speed buff or healing on poison bolts), It can make Smoke and Dagger more useful. And I'd love her ult if it really was a "sticky bomb" (seems time is not sticky enough :(

me and my friend usualy play Skye + Makoa against the enemy tank Skye poison melts tanks. Characters like Terminus,Raum or Inara just suffer against the Damage on Max health

I understand where you were coming from when comparing Skye to Sombra and yes, they are "almost" the same character, but Sombra is specifically made to disrupt and temporarily disable anyone she hacks. Sombra is also super annoying to play against and was super oppressive (pre nerf in OverWatch2), so much so it nearly ruined the game. When sombra hacks a hero, she does 40-50% increased damage to them, which is a ton of damage up close. As for Skye; (have barley played sky, barley know her kit or cards) maybe she makes it so damage numbers for the entire lobby are off for that game. While in the smoke, shes permanently in stealth for the smoke's duration (the smoke also moves in a straight line in the opposite direction from where she threw it from at 60% normal movement speed), is immune to reveals and teammates in the smoke also become invisible, when at/below 30% HP stealth auto pops stealth with 20%DR and 50% increased movement speed. Also this comment was made 10 minutes into the video before your suggestions.

The teleport with smoke bomb sounds really good and fun for a change. Another idea to mix it up would be making it comparable to the field Octavia throws out. Make Skye invisible while also putting up smoke to make loosing sight of her and her teammates. Obviously that'd probably be too strong with smoke and dagger. Kind of wish we had old smoke and dagger with the burst damage. Another change I'd like to see is her ult. I think it'd be good if it was a mix of Sombra and Kasumi ults. So it activates quickly like Sombra's, doing like some damage to anyone caught in the blast and poisoning them as well. Obviously damaged would be toned down a lot from the explosion. With Skye being my second most played character and one of my only golden skins unlocked, I really do hope she can get love with some solid changes in the near future.

Yeah no, all this is a no go, she needs to be nerfed even harsher imho, when i can be at full hp, have her down to 1 hp, and she somehow miracle melts me out of the blue, for no apparent reason, she is a huge issue that needs to be cut out like a disease. I personally Find skye to be over powered, along with champions like Vora, Imani, and even Betty, they all need a nerf hammer if im being perfectly honest.
