Sir, my story is that I am from Indian, ICSE student, knew English in writing and reading but due to cultural thing wasn’t use to talk in English . Then I moved abroad , at job I had conversations with angrez colleagues who never judged me . And this how I became confident in speaking . Now people think that I m brought up in abroad due to my spoken English skills. U r absolutely right in showing your viewers this path But above all I had the hunger to learn it too. One way of learning English is to watch Eng movies with subtitles. You will automatically start reading and following the conversation. That's basically how I picked up Hindi 😃. Have a trusted friend who speaks your native language and both of you make a pact with each other that you'll only use English for communication between yourselves. Quickly you'll pickup English and you can correct each other as you go. About being confident and speaking up in meetings, remember your forefathers fought wars and all you're being asked to do is speak up in a pointless corporate meeting where half the folks will be swiping on their phones anyway (even if Shakespeare was giving a lecture). So just go ahead and do it. About embarrassment, just smile and move on. Or prepare some catchy line in case you get into such a situation. "Now that you've all had a good laugh, lets move on to the ...".

anti-depressants/anti-anxiety medication made me feel more confident about myself. Maybe for most people they are usually not happy, and this triggers at teenage maybe because of peer pressure or pressure to perform well and this causes ambiguity and that keeps growing till adult life. Until then people do not realize their mental health is deteriorating. And when they come to workplace then you feel there is something wrong with confidence. And I accidently got to know there is a fix for this. Anti-anxiety and anti-depressants. I feel very confident today because my mental health is great.

Know in your heart who you actually are,catch up with your actual natural frequency and let this divine energy flow from the universe into you and back to the universe. So in this way you become an active instrument of the universe, the divinity gets concentrated inside you since you are allowing it to flow through you. Always be keen in knowing the way to be a true creature, the one who is supported by nature, the universe is supporting its existence. The more we study the more we acquire knowledge the more it makes us feel that we know very less and still a vast knowledge is left to explore that is why knowledgeable people are under confident. The less we have knowledge the more we speak the more we feel confident e.g politicians.

Yes I agree, the way Indian kids grow up living under authority of parents, teachers, professors and then their bosses. Addressing anyone as “Sir/Madam”, always elevating everyone else above you. Not wanting to disappoint them because you fear the same irrational consequences from childhood. Afraid to ask questions fearing embarrassment which stems from school days. No experience in holding a conversation with female counterparts and vice versa. The Indian culture conforms kids from a very early age to stay within the herd.

Mera bhi confidence hi main problem hai eventually i become introvert as well. Even if i know the solution to the problems in company meetings still i don't share with my colleagues and leads. I'm 22yrs old, I loosed so many chances in my life till now just because of my this behaviour☹️. I was confident and talkative in my childhood. But, in my school days my friends made fun of looks that's why i loose my confidence and i become introvert/shy.
