This is where I’m at. It should feel like a “win” that she’s gone. It doesn’t. There should be no reason why I would want her back. But I do. I absolutely hate that I can’t hate her. But I don’t.
If you stop doing what they want or call them out, they know you know. They are losing control and therefore they move on and don`t come back anymore. Happened with my wife...
They don't come back because they are more self-aware than we give them credit for. They know their flaws. They know how bad they are treating you. They know you are too good for them. Once you figure them out, there is no reconciliation. The game is up.

My exes weren't ready for me because they didn't know I've been arguing against my father's BS since at least 1996 at age 5 (I'm an old soul, definitely been here before🤣), so I've definitely hurt some lil narc feelings ever since I could talk💀 I find my main struggle is trying not be pessimistic about others initially. I tend to think the worst, possibly to be pleasantly surprised in the end🤣 but it paints much of the world black, which is depressing. I actively try to see the beauty in the world and people, seeing any darkness as "sad and unfortunate" - read that as PITY! That has helped me a whole lot.
If they don’t try to come back it’s because they know they don’t have it in them to measure up. They know you know what they are. They can’t play act their part anymore. Other sources are pulling hard at them for attention and can keep them distracted long enough for you to get sufficiently faded into the background. Don’t wish them anywhere near you. If they stay away it’s a sign of respect for you. They don’t measure up and they know it. If someone isn’t honest in their communication they’re not worth your time.
Went through this with narc abusive spouse. Had to divorce due to DV and infidelity. He knew he didn't want to marry me but used me and did it to spite an older supply ex-girlfriend after she left him and married someone else better. Shattered when I figured out all this narcissistic behavior. His dream of a music career is over after mistreating me (Ike and Tina). He jumped the gun on discarding me on the street several times with nowhere to go. Ended up in DV shelter and healing for the third time. I am an spiritual empath and he wanted my blessings in decision making but he didn't believe in spiritual matters. BAD KARMA has plagued him and his family for years and I witnessed this in a relationship with him. He has too much bad luck. He treated me like a roommate instead of loving me and exploited my finances when I barely had any to help with bills. His controlling and impulsive behavior was enough the gossiping to new or old supply about OUR marriage. Low fiinancial supply and loss of job, no resources as lower income spouse and finding out about his affairs is what it boiled down to. He knew he wasn't worthy of me and out his league but deceived me anyway into marriage. I am healing and scarred temporary but will triumph.

Very relatable!! I saw it all come out in one conversation. Every corner she tried to turn , I was onto her, and she did not like it at all. Once I started making sense of a circumstance that she felt was an issue, the subject quickly would change. Either into a love bombing convo, or possibly something else that she didn’t like. However, I’m glad I’m gone.

In some ways, I suppose that is demonic because the soul has been touched by so much evil or harm that they completely shut down their ability to empathize. I actually clear demonic energies from people's fields, so there is probably some truth to your statement. I call on the Holy Spirit to assist too. I'm not Christian though, not in a traditional sense anyway. Every single entity and demon I have ever had leave a person had to first see their light within, that spark within all of us. Without exception, everyone is from God. Some have just buried that connection for too long. We can have empathy, but we can't rescue them. I know, I tried. We had 3 good months and then it took me 4 months of nonsense to admit the toxic patterns were never going to stop. But empaths will try to rescue!

YES. Married and divorcing one after six months due DV. He led me on and married me to make an old supply ex-girlfriend jealous who left and married someone else. Was used as a scapegoat, deceived, triangulation between new supply. Intuition strongly spoke to me about his infidelity online and outside, used me for reviving his dying, stagnant music career. I am a great vocalist and he saw an investment suddenly with me ($$) for his retirement bag as a husband and wife band but was literally (Ike and Tina). I am also younger, attractive middle-aged black woman and husband is white older male. He already screwed his first marriage with children decades ago and thought a second chance at marriage with me would soften his heart to amend the past. NOPE. He never shared his finances, treated me like a roommate, not wife. Tried and exhausted myself looking for a better job to help, he put me down, talked down to me and saw us as status symbol ( black, younger trophy wife) but I was just a fetish and his virrtue signaling. Got in a DV shelter and healing. Sacrificed moving from a bad state to come to another state to start over and lost everything and left a loved one behind to make a better life for them only to end up starting over again dealing with this evil snake after three discards. He caused too much suffering, PTSD, smear campaigned me to everyone. Don't need or want someone back that won't treat me right or feel I don't belong. He moved on quickly and didn't want to back either but I am healing and will meet better, he wasted my time and mistreated others. KARMA is has been having a field day with him for a long time but he knew I was a chosen one because he always wanted my blessing on things he wanted to do...not anymore.
Their life is their responsibilty - nobody elses. They simple have to see and admit that they have problems and need help. But we are not professionals and can´t help them. (We can only support them on their way of healing if they really want to heal).

He fked up a potentially success musical career to commit adultery and secrecy, impulsivity, clout chasing, ill intentions in marrying me to spite old supply ex-girlfriend who for moved on and married someone else better for grass is greener with new supply. I think maybe the reason my narc ex won’t come back is fear of failure… he has always had a great fear of failing in anything he did, no matter how big or small… I must’ve made him feel a failure, maybe because I no longer let him manipulate me and control me.
I think mine is a combination of all these you listed: 1. Ego is too Big 2. Supply valve is Shut Off 3. FEAR of Abandonment/ Rejection 4. Fear of Exposure 5. I was too Strong, started Setting and Sticking to Boundaries 6. Too much has happened= there is No chance i would take him back from what he did/ Makes it I Did something wrong I was trauma bonded badly the last four months since I separated myself and went no contact. I admit I was wanting to hear from him and trying to figure how why he's behaving this way. This really helps me to see it and listen because it makes so much sense.

I once heard the analogy the narc is like a heroin addict….my supply to him was the physical…. And once I firmly removed that supply from his life, and maintained my boundaries, he simply found his supply elsewhere. Which hurt a lot at first. Hurt like hell after two decades with someone. But he FINALLY left me alone. He just can’t live without it and it doesn’t matter where it’s coming from. A heroin addict doesn’t care where they get their heroin. It’s supply. Faceless, meaningless supply. I watch him now, chasing multiple women, and I know what he’s doing, meanwhile they are oblivious. They don’t realize they mean nothing to him and there are so many others. He is an empty person, I hope he finds his way back. Hard to watch someone live this way, but I realize I cannot help him.

I honestly hope none of mine ever try to come back... I'm at that place in my life where I can see what is wrong with me, and I want to focus on fixing that. I don't want to be horrible to the person who could actually spend the rest of my life with me simply because I never took the time to work on myself. I'm worth it, and so are they whoever they are.

I filed for divorce before I found out he was a narcissist ! He was the classic maglinent narcissist . After 11 years of lying, cheating and him stealing from our joint accounts, I walked out and never looked back. Did he hoover me, yes he did, but I was done. After the discard he told people I had rejected him (which was the opposite of the truth). His story was that I was abusive to the kids. He had to stick with the discard so that it fit his narrative. I wondered why there wasn’t a final Hoover. But in the end, it was a blessing.

I know why mine won't come back to me. Everything he did to me, I did right back to him. He didn't like it very much. I handed him his own ass, when I walked out the door. Dead on and I needed to hear this today. I took three years to heal after being in two back to back narc relationship, one was a marriage. I went to therapy for a bit over a year. My therapist suggested that I studied narcissistic behaviors to get to know the enemy. I did just that and learned a ton about them and the red flags they wave. I started talking to some people on a dating app and was getty my barrings as the new person I was. I met someone and everything felt right and amazing. Well, he is a narcissist and he gaslit me in a way that was totally new to me. Within the last few months, the mask has started slipping off his face. Everything is my fault, I want to talk to much (now that I know the real him, I know talking will not do a damn bit if good) I am after his money, I'm trying to control him etc etc. His manipulative behavior knows no bounds. Well, now I am familiar with the "nice guy narc". I was indignant when I saw the real him, mainly with myself. How could I not see it after all that time healing and studying. I realized that I found my way out much quicker and had the tools to not let him pull me completely down and lose my true self. I say all of that to say this, if you fall down, you can still get back up be stronger, gain clearer sight and move on with your light shine brighter!!!

Dealing with this heavy today, thank you so much. Found out something unforgivable and he dropped me completely- went from “loving me” to nothing. I’m so sad, feeling like I didn’t mean anything all that time.
I understand. After 16 years of dealing with everything, I ended up pregnant with our fourth child, and at 7 months pregnant, he cheated on me. When I confronted him it turned into an argument and he left. I was so confused and hurt. We did eventually get back together, and we're working on it, but it took a while, and I wasn't sure he'd turn.
@user-km7js5kl1j I mean, even if I can understand it doesn't excuse it. Bad behavior is bad behavior and sometimes apologies aren't enough... and even if they've changed, I mean that's nice for them, but that doesn't mean I have to let them back into my world.
Just keep educating yourself about narcissism. You were naive, that's why you got chosen. That's sad. The good-hearted are their targets. Be happy you found out now vs. 10, 16 or 20 plus years later. Either way, they will leave. It was never, nor will ever be, an equal relationship. They waste our time, youth, and trust. They've cheated us enough.
Best thing I've ever done was go no contact. We do have a child together. But it is possible to go very minimal contact. Do it before they ghost you, regain some control. Or if it makes you feel better after they ghost you, tell yourself you're going no contact and prepare yourself for the day that they might reach out to you. You can gaslight yourself into thinking this is your idea😂 I know, I've done it. It's sad and all, but I'm getting better every day! ❤

@@kaytlinrainemusic do you share custody 50/50? I have full physical custody (he gets weekends and holiday visitation), and we have 50/50 legal custody. So, first of all I keep almost all communication to email. I made a separate email account that I only use for communication with my ex. This holds me accountable - knowing that I have to use professional-email etiquette. I won't lose my crap in an email, even if I want to. Lol Absolutely no phone conversations or texting, unless it's a situation that needs to be communicated quickly. When that happens, I stick to the only subject that matters - the child. If it is not child related, do not respond or hang up the phone. Make it clear through an email, you are setting hard boundaries and there's to be no communication, other then what's related to your child. When I exchange the child with him: At first we were meeting in public parking lots. Again, no communication unless it's child related. Keep it brief! Think about recording each interaction. There are good and free voice recording apps. If you need to, tell him that you record every conversation, so that he cannot harass you in person. Again, this is great accountability for yourself! You know you're recording, you know to be on your best behavior. Also, you can go back and listen to your responses to your ex and learn how to better navigate each brief interaction. If your child is old enough, tell your ex that they can park close and the child can walk to your vehicle on their own. Or if your ex is picking up the child from your house, the ex must remain in their vehicle and the child can walk from the vehicle, to where you'll be waiting at the door. Again, you can list out these instructions via email. If the ex does not comply, document it all and record everything.

If he's involved, great - if not, then don't fight him on it. You're basically on your own anyway, you always were even when you were together - so you have to do your very best to get used to it. Don't beg him for anything, don't beg him to be a good father or to do basic fatherly things. You do your job of informing him of events of significance and all the things that make you a good mom. They will still stalk and follow you. Mine knew too much on what was going on in my everyday life for us to have had no contact for almost 7 years. He admitted to riding by my house often. Knew where I worked . Also, admitted to watching our son play outside. It’s scary.
The last part… they might be trying to reverse hoover you back into their life or hoping you reach out because they want control over you. That’s why I set a boundary to never contact my narcissistic ex. And begin healing. The day she moved out.

His Final Discard and this time my Narc husband did not return.. However; once I went completely No contact he asked our adult children to make sure to keep in touch with me because he hadn’t heard from me even though he did the discard. I finally after 3 months reached out to him, I filed for divorce and needed him served. The night I spoke with him, he tells me “he’s curious what the urgency is” and “someone must be coaching me because I could never had done this (file for divorce)” “WTH”… I will admit it’s hard getting over him, I do think of him everyday, I do miss him at times, I also wonder at times if he thinks of me? What can I say (27 years with this man) but I will also admit “I am so much more at PEACE without him.” I can breathe, the lie I was living is No more. So even though Hard, my life is so much easier, I wake up Happy instead of confused, hurt or angry. I am no longer working on pleasing the selfish Narcissist, I am working on pleasing me. 😉🕊️💐

Ex covert fiancé cruelly discarded me. I called him a covert narc. Funny thing is that he didn’t ask for the ring. KNOW it’s one of his manipulative tactics. He was thinking I’d chase him like I always do! Or is evil enough to show up with his new supply for it. I mailed it back to him. He has blocked me everywhere.
My narcissist was not violent. I looked him in the eye, and in a relaxed and confident manner, chukled as I informed him, in no uncertain terms, that what he previously recieved from me was my gift to him. A gift, that I would never bestow on him again. That the man I know him to be could never possibly earn that which I had given him. Then the guy I married to be a team w me, pulled some shady stuff 5 yrs into marriage. I left him too. This one effected my health. Btw I was with him when we were young. The abuse was on all levels the second time. I listened to a mutual friend saying he has always loved you. I ended it after 10 months after catching them in numerous lies and directly calling them out. She dropped off radar immediately. She made one minor hoover attempt, which I ignored. Your video gave me a possible answer as to why she's not tried again. I guess we weren't even friends all those years. It's sad and I miss her, but those 10 months wiped me out emotionally and mentally.

Thank you for acknowledging those of us that miss the narc and are trauma bonded to them. I keep breaking it off with him because I will not accept certain treatment. We're on a break right now and I always feel like it's the last time and I'm heart broken. I don't hate myself for how I feel. It's about protecting myself and him - him because I don't want anyone acting toxicly.

I was trying to be in contact minimally with my Edad, of course there is no relationship with him, without HER in the center. The day my Nmom told me "I think it is just best you go back to NO Contact...". I was like, BET! 😊 Lee, I have a lot of gratitude for the work you are doing. Unfortunately all I got from this was I can’t break up with him until I’m 100% sure that I won’t want him back. Assuming after 8-9 years when he says he doesn’t care if I leave and he would only be sad for 2 weeks he probably actually means it. I just love him so much
I think that is exactly what I am dealing with right now. It hurts so much because I had so much belief in him. And I do miss this person who has hurt me! 😭I keep having this wishful hope that they will one day, any day, soon just want to bear their soul and commence to change. Like a revelation of sorts. But everytime I see them. My hopes are somehow shattered. My heart continues to break. 💔😭. But I do ever feel the urge to just say "I give up!" ""I'm done, I wash my hands!" Out of more than just current frustration or temporary disappointment. I always find my thoughts back at wanting the same after some point in time. What the hell is wrong with me? Cause, it's clear I obviously have issues too! It's not just them! I tried of these cycles repeating but I can't seem to help myself out of them either. I don't feel like a victim not do I come from a mindset of the one to take all the blame.I do know I play a role in my hell but the mirrors are playing tricks on me! So true! Thank you! Ones my narsisistic ex texted me, that he loves me and want to have children together and ao on and wanted to come back to me. I answered that i would never for anything in my life, would believe what he is saying. I knew, he wasn't sorry, he hurt me so much for a long time and he would behave the same again. He wanted to come back, as it was very comfortable to live with me, financialy, that's all. Now i am more than sure, that he would like to come back, but knows what i would respond 😊
I wish everyone in the world could hear this video! Especially the Suicide part abd the steps needed to take to get help for someone who does suffer with these mental illness he's mentioned on this video. Because I believe it could be a helpful step needed to save lives!

OMG I wish the narcissists in my life would leave me alone. I cut all contact almost six years ago, and they still go through people I know to guilt trip, or cause a response. It is exhausting. I live in another state too 1500 miles away and they just won't stop!!!!
Yes we have a whole baby… blocked me and everything.. while he’s off with the new supply. I gave him MANY narc injuries. I remember after leaving the narcissist he texted me and told me im just waiting on you to come back. They one statement shook me because it made me wake up even more to the pattern that i had became use to with him. I always took his worthless ass back. But i never did after that break up. Oh definitely always running. The one I was with damaged church property, argued with others, brought stress to a few ministries. He came to a funeral a few months ago and I saw this stiffness and look of fear on him. For me, it was like he wasn't even there. No, you can't come back dude. My narcissist husband had what I later understood was narcissistic rage two years ago - and gave me the same shit and what I later understood was silent treatment. When I understood that he was a covert narcissist the pattern through 30 years. I stood my ground and met him with silence!!! But he does not leave, he is just scared to hell that I understand and that I have healed.
