Thank you so much for this! I wish I was in Florida. I'd come see you in a heartbeat. I have some of those visual issues that often times trigger migraines. My neuro is great, but he's limited in how and what he can test and treat. He has patients with easy to diagnose disorders with well studied treatments. I have HSD/hEDS (depends who you ask), POTs, cervical dystonia (we *think*), fibromyalgia, fatigue, nerve pain, muscle spasms, GI issues, pelvic organ prolapse, severe brain fog/poor memory, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD. I'm functioning at about 25% of my former self, and I'm in constant pain. At 36, with 3 kids, I'm fighting for disability and at the same time trying to get better. I'm a shell of my former self, but I'm not giving up hope. I'm so grateful for doctors like you who have committed themselves to helping patients like me. You listen, you don't try to fit us into the "traditional" boxes. You recognize that the medical field is still in it's infancy and we have so much more to learn about the human body and science in general. Your videos are so so helpful. Even if my local doctors won't take the time to learn about HSD/hEDS or take it seriously, it's comforting to know that there are people like you out there. Thank you Dr. Hauser!

I experienced exactly what you said about doctors trying to fit us in the traditional boxes. I was disabled to the point where I couldn't even fix my hair or drive my car and had a neurologist at supposedly one of the best clinics in the country tell me my "muscles were acting up" 🤔😡 I waited till he was done with his explanation to ask about cervical instability and vagus nerve compression which my own research had pointed to and the response was "You weren't in a car accident and you're too young for that." I said "but I have nearly every symptom of it" and he literally said "but often times the symptoms for things are the same so I'm going to assume you have what 99% of the time it is rather than the rare occurrence." Meanwhile I did not get better like he said so I found and upper cervical chiropractor who found my problem c1 and c2 misalignment/malrotation/instability and Dr Hauser recently confirmed this. Idk where you are located or how you are doing now but it wasn't an easy trip for me either and I may have to go back up to 7 times for the prolotherapy but please try to go they are wonderful down there not only extremely knowledgeable but truly want to help their patients

I have an extremely stiff neck. I think it’s responsible for the pain. The pressure in my face is 24/7.

Thank you so much doctor,I have been suffering all the symptoms of the neck with little to no neck pain and doctors can't figure out what is happening.A bunch of scans and test,All of them are fine.My headaches and symptoms get worse. So I have been researching nonstop all by myself. Now I know what is happening, thank you so much for sharing this kind of contents online.I had a car accident in 2016.Now after 6 years,at the age of 25,all the symptoms are showing up.I hope I will get better after addressing these issues.

I have been dealing with the exact same thing. Crazy neurological symptoms for over a year. I’ve gone to every doctor possible and gotten every test taken. Everything was normal and no doctor had any idea. Just recently went to an upper cervical specialist who uses upright mri and I was able to get a diagnosis! I was in a terrible car accident in 2017 as a freshman in hs. I got my atlas adjusted a couple weeks ago and am just waiting to feel better but I am considering going to get regenerative therapy. Good luck with your journey. You will heal!

I have chronic, 24/7 pressure inside the very top of my head. No medication has helped. The pressure is always there, it just fluctuates in severity level throughout the day. I notice that when I "bend down", such as when picking up something off of the ground, the pressure inside the top of my head increases, but the pressure inside my nose area increases SEVERELY as well. The pressure in my nose becomes so severe, almost like a crushing-type sensation. The pressure in my head and nose area fluctuates in severity level while I am sleeping on my side on my bed. I have vision problems, light sensitivity, and visual snow. No doctor has been able to find the cause of my symptoms. My MRIs came back normal. They diagnosed "all of my symptoms as being part of migraine headaches". Strangely...I later developed "permanent trismus" (reduced mouth opening). My TMJ MRI found no abnormality (no internal derangement, etc.) in my jaw joints. It only found "moderate reduction in mouth opening that cannot be explained by any type of joint pathology". When I had pressure headaches for a long time, I didn't have trismus at THAT TIME. I later developed it. Would you be able to help me?

I had bilateral jugular impingement on my C1. I have a pacemaker from severe AAI and AOI because they didn’t think my neck was the problem. ICT/ICP was necessary for the diagnosis. I’m lucky to be alive.

I believe my 6 year tinnitus is neck induced, it's heavily modulated with different positions and I've had an extended audiogram that shows no hearing loss. What confuses me is that aside from a few aches, I have no pain whatsoever.. A physiotherapist said that I have the neck of a car crash victim from years of bad posture

Thanks for sharing. Yes, we see this every day in our practice which is why we may sound like a broken record talking about posture and restoring the cervical curve, but it is so important as we're seeing this in younger and younger people who have never been in car accidents, etc... We wish you all the best in health and with restoring your neck curve. Take good care.

Hi Dr thank you so much for this video. My case is no different. I have had all the symptoms. It’s been almost one year and a half. It just got a little better in between but again it has started. I have seen many neurologist. Have done all types of Scans’s test. My scan does show disc bulges straightening of lumbar cervical But it didn’t show any nerve compression as such. But I do get frequent headaches nausea palpitation numbness sudden drop in energy. All these symptoms are very scary and it can easily confuse anyone for a stroke or a heart attack. ‏ When I didn’t know what was happening I have many times landed up in an ambulance going tho emergency rooms. Doctor had even confused this whole thing to depression anxiety which I know now that it can give anxiety. There was a time I was having 6 to 7 panic and attacks in a day. I cannot even put down in words how terrifying that whole phase was. It has started again I just don’t want this again I don’t know how to fix this it would be good if you can please let us know what is the cure for this I’ve tried physiotherapy stretching I do ice pack all of that

Who else would do it ..just be honest to yourself.

Hi, great video. Do you think bearing weight can have an effect on symptoms? I get tingling, burning, and headaches across my head that is exasperated by bearing weight. Something as simple as a backpack at about 10 pounds does this.

That’s a great question! We sometimes ask our patients to use weights for curve correction so it could very well be reversed, in your case causing negative symptoms to arise.

I have seen the snow. It doesn't really look like a static tv screen. mine didnt. It was pretty. it scared me. It looked like little soft white Christmas lights In my left eyes vision. The eye doctor actually couldn't see anything wrong. They took a picture of the back of my eye. One slide showed the little lites I was like that's it? They just said its inflammation And gave me a prescription for prednisone. they didn't know what it was. When I told him I needed to get off the medication a month later. I had to see a specialist and he said it was white bird spot syndrome. But I really have Chiari malformation with 2 Syringomyelia Cyst in my spine and I bet I have a weak neck too. Because I had decompression surgery and A lambectomy of my C1 and My symptoms returned 2 weeks after surgery and have just gotten worse. It's been 3 1/2years.

Unfortunately yes, cervical instability (or any kind of instability for that matter) is degenerative meaning it happens over a period of time and continues to worsen. We would love to help you find healing in your neck - please reach out to us directly!
