and now haters blaming warriors for no reason lol. how much the team trust you when you just got one of the worse injury in basketball and still give him a max contract
That last game against the Kings where he went 0-10 signaled for me as a fan of the team that Klay is done in GS and its time for the team to move one from him and break up the core three. Running it back after last season's result is not what the team should do. If they can get some trade value out of Klay, Wiggins, Looney, Chris Paul, and GP2. Even if its just some draft picks and cheaper bench guys would be better than nothing. Oh and hopefully not sign Paul George to a max contract which would be an awfully stupid move.
damn... klay really went from one of the most likeable and unhateable guys in the nba to a total diva. i'll still celebrate klay at the end of the day and whatever it is that he decides to do. he's meant a lot to the nba and helped define an era. i'm just really sad and disappointed that he's turned greedy and sour.
true, his career should have been like ray allen's or kyle korver, great shooters who played their role, remained consistently good until the end of their careers and never got into arguments like this, just helped their team win time and time again...instead, he's stealing Durant's personality for some reason while his play on court is contradicting him...
If he is able to get 30-40 mil more from a contract to another team, why would not he? What's so hateable about it? These guys are there to earn money.
Klay never evolved his game. That was his problem. Now defenses and injuries are catching up. Imagine he's a catch and shoot guy when he came in the league. Now a veteran, still does the same - only with a lesser efficiency.
As much as I love Klay, the way he handle this situation is way to delusional to get max from any kind of front office. He'll need to face on the mirror and better ask himself. If he is still the same guy.
It's a shame that all trades and contracts have to be checked against the economics and new rules. Klay was great on the second team, where he was the star(equivalent to Steph on the starting unit in a way), but that also was with Chris Paul. I wish Klay all the luck in the world, and thanks for all you did for us.
Let the old man go he's done he's part, let not Curry suffer more by carrying the team in he's shoulder coz of klay and green, curry deserve a more suitable teammates that he can trust. After klay injury he became a hit or miss player sad but true💯👍
GSW front office needs to handle this correctly and not waste Steph's last golden years Don't screw it up like the Lakers that should've built around AD and the young ones not the old legend Bron and his nepo son
@@ninerempire3398 loaded roster with Rajan Rondo, Danny Green, Javale, Dwight, KCP? What a loaded roster lmao just 2 stars surrounded by good role players like most championship teams
man leeched GSW for 2 years of his injury seasons, and he's not the same guy for another 2 years on that contract either, only 1 year he justified getting paid that max, and now the shadow of himself, giving less contributions than a rookie, and his best running mate still competing for another title while he, only talk about the past, is just not deserving of what he's asking. we get it, paid your veterans and let him retire in comfort, be thankful for them, BUT only Klay is declining, Steph is still close to MVP caliber player and ready to compete, Dray will always work in their team system, only u Klay! get less money or stop burdening your teammates, move on!
Answer me this question….who’s gonna replace Klay Thompson in GS ? Who !? Who has the same playoff experience and fits in with the warriors style of basketball ? I swear, if I see Zach Lavigne replace Klay I am done watching basketball. Moving backwards af.
I was impressed with some of Drays play last year he shot the three better, and his defense is still legit. If the Warriors can get better defensively, things will change drastically. That’s why I’m all in on getting Paul George.
@@celestinomatta both guys have different roles within this system, Drays still doing his very well. Klay not so much. Klay was offered a great deal last year and declined. It’s pretty obvious Klay has been frustrated for a while. It sucks you can see his mind isn’t letting him play comfortably. A change of setting might do him good. Go watch athletic alchemy channel and his vid on Klay.
Warriors disrespected Klay's contribution and value!! Warriors system of play is complex based on timing, skill sets, and emotional attachments...that requires years to acquire!!! No more Dub Nation!!
