The guy a lot of these supernatural gimmicks get compared to is the Undertaker, and while yes there's been a lot of spooky stuff with the Undertaker, he always primarily handled business in the ring. Sure there was lightning and big entrances, but the big thing was that he was very hard to beat and very capable of delivering an ass kicking. I think if they can stick to that principle, they're going to be fine.

One big question is who the sixth member is. There’s two theories and I think both are valid. One is that it’s Alexa and she’s just taking a little more time off to spend some time with her kid before returning to TV. The second is that it’s the spirit of Bray guiding the group. I can totally see either way.

That was a good point that if this drives gable into the stable with diamond mine. It would be similar to the fiend where those feuds ended with the opponents character changing in some way. There was at least 1 to 2 fueds that the wrestler changed afterwards

Not saying he can't but it is definitely going to take some next level storytelling and booking to get it over longterm because look at the wrestling business how many spooky factions are there already you got the Judgement Day, the group Karrion Kross has, the House of Black and about 5 others in AEW and ROH at some point there's viewer fatigue so they need to do something different to stand out.

They need to do random attacks during the different shows like the NWO. Meaning as a match is in progress in the ring. Before the show goes Live etc. They need to come across as lunatics who aren't supposed to be there. They shouldn't actually wrestle for the next 6 weeks. All while teasing what it is that they want or are after. But not quickly revealing what it is.

The vibe is there. No one of this guys involved didn't get above enhancement talent status before and looks like they're doing continuation of a gimmck that Bray Wyatt didn't really get orgianally super over to begin with. I remember that Lashley bugger off this Howdy guy, then didn't work with Bray, babyface promos of Wyatt that didn't really get anywhere dispite good delivery. Howdy attack Bray and then "help him" beat Eli when in reality botched a finish and miss him by a mile in this Mountain Dew kind of deal, it was a mess.

I one hundred percent agree with everything being said here. And I’m totally fine with how everyone was dressed and all of that stuff… You can rationally assume that these people have a cult tribute to Bray and brought those characters to life, everything that they did in the segment was fairly grounded in reality. But if they go back to doing spooky bullshit, it’s going to get old real fast. You can make these people fanatical followers of Bray Wyatt, even down to where they’re making these crazy masks and outfits in representation. But no teleporting, no spells, no hoodoo.

Here's the benefit HHH has - He was able to witness Vince's complete and utter fumble with booking The Fiend (the disaster at HIAC with Rollins, jobbing him to Goldberg, etc.). He should have the wisdom to go in a completely different direction with these characters. I think the unpredictability is the key here; The wrestling fan base is so diverse, people will either love it or hate it. I'll do my best to invest in the whole thing, even if I come back and say it was too cheesy, or cartoony, or whatever. Best believe I'll be watching Raw tonight, no matter what - and that's the goal. Keep us watching.

From all the people they don't using every week they had to book the ones they're advertising for next show to make all the TV time and production for this angle meaningless with making all the drama on walking to the ramp among the bodies ? As long as they don’t drag their run out too long, maybe finish thing up at Mania next year, they can make this work. Definitely don’t integrate them into the roster. Maybe have them target the Judgement Day. Definitely have them feud with Strowman at some point. I wouldn’t make them pure heels or faces, let them go after both sides equally. Wouldn’t put any championships on them until the gimmick has ran its course, they shouldn’t be interested in that kind of thing. Probably have it end with Uncle Howdy having some kind of cinematic match, preferably against someone with a connection to Bray. Don’t have Bo fully unmask until he’s won that match and the group disbands, with Bray’s unfinished business or whatever being done… Actually would love it if the cinematic match was against Goldberg, get revenge for beating the Fiend. The a-hole wanted a retirement match after all. 😂

The question I have is that will they play the "narrative" card much like Bray did. Everybody Bray feuded with ended up switching alignments, (Braun, Miz, Bryant, ect.) Though Karrion Kross has somewhat siphoned that aspect to his character. I just think that Chad being spotlighted in the beatdown will be the plot reason for his inevitable link up with the Creeds.

But it's a wasted heat if you beat up guys on TV and they're book for a match next show. Did Bo Dallas directed them to hold back few punches or what ? It's silly. They should beat up guys one by one every week and leve on them some note or a hint that they're connected to Wyatt etc. it would work better then glitches Retribution style and if you beat up group at once do it with people that can do hospitalisation angle for few weeks and squash them in debuts to be over instead of soft beatdown that has no consequences.

I absoultely loved the Debut. if I could change a couple things. I would Change the name to the Wyatt Family Reunion and give Rowan a better looking mallet. Their are Cosplay Mallets you can get that would fit the rest of Rowans Costume. or an a big Chunky Axe. Hope the debut fueds are gonna be personal Fueds with people who did wrong by Bray Wyatt and lead to them trying to recapture the WWE title because it still has the lineage of the Universal title. The Universal Title that Bray was never Pinned for, maybe when they are ready for Cody to drop the belt in a year or 2. Have Flashes of the WWE title turning back to the Fiend belt as if its cursed.

People forget that Bray was always mostly psychological rather than supernatural. It was Vince who wanted it to be more supernatural. Bray's last run was all about his real life mental struggles. People also lie about his in ring work like they do with Alexa Bliss.

I find all this commentary about the believability of this stuff to be very sad. These criticisms coming from those who grew up and loved characters like Kane and the Undertaker. Yes, those characters evolved, why not give these characters a chance to do the same. They were over as cartoon characters and they were over as serious performers.
