i do always wonder when it comes to these old wrestling stories how it is nobody gets arrested? do wrestlers actually live in another world where cops and laws don’t exist just how they make it out to be inside the ring? or was it just considered too much of a pussy move to press charges against the other boys back then?

easy, dual justice system. these guys are significantly more wealthy and more famous than the average person. promoters will absolutely go out of the way for their guys too.

I like Ken but there's no doubt his consistently defensive re-telling of this story (in which he is protecting the honor of a girl and he is jumped and mercilessly beaten for no good reason) has actually caused people to think less of both his fighting skills and his intelligence. If Ken would just say, "I lost my temper and was an idiot who misjudged my abilities", people would be more sympathetic to him.

A rat should never come between the boys? Somehow I HIGHLY doubt Shamrock and the Nasties were the best of friends BEFORE this went down. Maybe they didn't hate each other but you don't go from brothers to mortal enemies this fast, not over a girl. Or if you do, you remember a hell of a lot more about it. Or at least the girl. They don't even agree on that much. So it wasn't really about her. If you care at all about a guy, you knock him out. You don't throw him over a balcony. So tell me again how they loved each other before this, please.

In fairness , the Nasty Boys are like the real life Rocksteady and Bebop . Ugly strong and agile but not smart. They think their bad behavior is just fun, harmless , and even charming. I mean Knobs in one shoot mentioned that he was literally touching the girl even tho she told him herself to fuck off . He giggled and said "my bad I was drunk..." No self awareness from the guy . I mean this dude even had a fallout with the Outsiders and Eric Bishoff. Only reason they didn't get blacklisted from the industry is because they're friends with Hulk Hogan
