Hey please help me my biceps feel like they are not even there my forearm gets tired and my bies are not responding at all when i do negatives i can not feel them at all
Take very light dumbells (2-5kg) and do 30+ perfect reps that take at least 3 seconds to perform each and really try to think about your bicep contracting. This should get blood flowing into your biceps after that you should feel them a lot more doing regular bicep work with regular weight. This plus the form advice given above.
I do the exact same thing, 7,5kg 8 reps, slow swing and elbow to the side but I still don't feel my biceps. For some reason i do feel it when i do low weight more reps though
Yeah same the lower i put the weight the better I fed the bicep curls however I have to go for like 25-30 reps to get that burn. Prioritise technique and high reps over low reps high weight. Until you learn how to do the form properly I suck still so that’s what I’m doing 😂
If you do correct from and don’t feel it, just don’t worry about it. In a couple months when you have built some muscles you will start to feel it most likely. This is what I’ve heard from doing research’s about it
But how to achieve progressive overload? I seem not to cross 10kg dumbbells or 12.5 max, my biceps get stiff and i no longer can do complete range of motion. I just feel disappointed
If your diet is on point, try to push yourself for one more rep next time you try,you can wait a few extra seconds at the end of the last rep while keeping good form. After a few extra reps with your current weight , (accumulating over a few weeks, not overnight!) you can raise the weight a bit and start this whole process over. You've got this champ!!
Do an extra set. Progressive overload is all about doing more. Be it sets/reps. Keep the same number of sets and push hard for those extra reps. Dig deep. Or do an extra set. Still more reps. Before too long youll have those extra reps bro
The problem is, I dropped the weight by half, doing slow reps, and keeping my elbows to my side and still can't feel them. My mind muscle connection is awful
