Yup. I have 2 true ones and lucky with just that. Had over 100 "friends" back in the 1990's. You get to find out who your friends are when things go south for you. Then you TRULY find out who are your true friends during your adversity. The key is to not be bitter about this reality. It's the world we live in. A fallen realm with only a handful of truly BASED and PRINCIPLED individuals. You can't just say F it and not trust anyone. NO. That's a failed LIFE TEST. Don't go that route. Trust .. but verify, and keep plugging along until you find the people in life that will get you to the end. And if you don't find anyone, that's ok too. Nothing wrong with trying. Trust yourself and ask God for guidance.

Same here. I always look back on my life, and everyone I've met in any environment or stage in my life, even trying to meet others on the basis of common interests. I've always noticed that they always were trying to stir the pot and create problems, talking behind my back and sought to bring in drama into my life. I have barely met anyone in this world who did not have some sort of urge to financially or otherwise destroy me.
