Launching the scat packs are a bit tricky specially with skinny stock tires. After I put some wider stickier tires on mine launching is soo easy.

I have both cars, an Audi S3 with a stage 2 APR tune in Florett Silver and a 2016 Scat Pack in Billet Grey...love them both!! The AWD and 400hp with light weight is very hard to beat!! The performance of the car has shocked many, believe me. As much as I love my Audi, the Dodge gets the most attention, though.

Best way to launch a challenger, is throw it into 2nd gear, then when it hooks, put it into auto. You won't be disappointed. :D

Hi performance tires don't get traction when it's cold out. 40 and below those tires just spin. This is based on 60,000 miles of Srt8 392 challenger driving. 5 different sets of rear tires.

Back in the 80's and early 90's we'd run hoosier dirt bozz tires for the street. Not dot legal but they hooked pretty good.

try dropping the tires psi to 29 ....try launch control at 1500 and let the car do its thing.....i also have all season tires and i managed to get 4.1 seconds on 0 to 60 mph ...not sure how i did it but i did ...lol....awesome video man i like ur channel, keep trying, seems to me ur friend hit the trigger a split sec before u did ...every time.... thumbs up for the video ....we cant win them all....

Get some Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S 275/40/20s on the back and you'll blow the doors off of stuff. I've hit 11.77 in the 1/4 mile and 0-60 in 3.6 seconds with the drag radials at the track on the stock tune. For comparison on the stock tires best I could do at the track was 12.7. The Nittos are okay, but M/T or M&H drag radials are better. I agree 100%, the stock Goodyear tires are a joke. These cars make so much power and torque you need sticky tires on the back if you hope to have any traction at all.

Challengers have a lack of rubber and an excess of weight.. thats why the hellcat needs 700hp.. which will always be an issue for getting out the hole.. but to be honest at those temps nothing will hook.. except an awd..

6.4 makes to much power for the 245/45r20's. i have the sport comp 2 a/s on my vw (yes ik compleatly diffrent car but im gearing up to pick up the new challenger t/a 392 when its being sold) but i love the tire i use it year round and live in Jersey. ive been in the tire business for coming up on 7years for my family buiness that has been going strong for 65 years this year. My recommendation, pick up a set of the srt 20x9.5 rims(if you want an OE look) or and 5x115 20x9.5 rims, put 285/35r20's for a lower profile wider tire or go with the 275/40r20. or what i plan on doing 20x9 on from with the 285/35 and 20x10 in the rear with a 305/35. idk lol, food for though. awsome video though!

The only way you hook perfect with stock tires is by racing the car with traction control ON.

Hooking up 400 plus rwtq on a cold day like that on these stock tires is not gonna happen. My car will spin them on a hot day just tapping the throttle. Do some roll racing and watch the Scat pull on both those cars.

Scat packs arent meant for Dig racing thats why they Take L"s There for Roll racing

I have the same tires on my 15 R/T I get a good hook up each time and lowered my 0-60 by .2 seconds just the first couple attempts

should of put a Tazer hack on the challenger, it gives you the SRT pages and settings, like track mode. Then you would have had a real good chance of kicking that ass.

Get a set of drag radials traction won't be a issue and maybe race on a cleaner road without dirt and shit all over

Put them down to 27-28 lbs... if it's over 20 c 26 lbs maybe?? This car needs 315 my street tires to hook!! I have a 15 sublime so, and live in Brampton where they are built!! You are right, dealer stock tires suck!!

Those are called summer tires for a reason. The are terrible under 30 degrees.

"your car pulls harder up top" dude the 392 pulls harder than the 5.7 all the way around. you just gotta get some better tires and practice some throttle management. i had the BFG G-Force comp-2 on my RT and i never spun so i don't think that's what you have.

Last race on a dusty dirty road...lets do a burnout with my street tires to "warm them up." These are both recipes for disaster. There is no reason to burnout street tires for traction they compound they are made off isn't meant to be ran at a high temp it makes your traction worse when they are hot ....you spin them a few revolutions to knock off rocks, dust, gunk and by no means smoking them at all a 1 second spin is enough. That doesn't really matter here because the street is full of dirt. The pavement is cold and your tires are now hot....hmmm wonder what happens? If your going to race at-least educate yourself.

I love the look of the Challengers but for the size motors in them they aren't very impressive. I have a 2015 V6 Mustang with some minor modifications and I outrun R/Ts all the time. You would think a 5.7 Hemi would destroy a 3.7 Coyote but they don't.
