When I get proper amount of blue light from the Sun, before 9 in the morning, I feel natural motivation to do/make things, without being tired. The other important effect of sunlight, especially infrared light, is the melatonin secretion inside the mitochondria. The best antioxidant is melatonin, exactly on its "workplace". Oral melatonin supplementation won't do that job. We need natural form by infrared sunlight.
@@lovly2cu725 lol... Terrible., 😢 sadly, I refuse to go to bed because I don't "think" I'm actually ready to sleep around 11pm. I will want to listen to news, or a podcast, so my husband goes to bed and I end up starting the video and I "think" I start hearing it, but about 15min later I drop my phone that wakes me up and I realize that I don't remember what was said after 2 sentences😮. So I start over. This goes on until about 3AM unless I drop the phone and it doesn't wake me up. 🥴 Either way, my alarm starts going off at 5am and I snooze every ten min until 7 or 7:15am because I have to get my son to school. By 8am I park in my driveway and fall asleep before I can even open the door! 😴 I sleep sitting up! Until I either get too hot or too cold 😅 I think I'm insane!! I usually try to watch the same program I was trying to watch the night before. What is wrong with me!?
I watched several videos trying to get an answer to chronic fatigue, and these topics are very appreciated. DR Panda ( circadian rhythm balancing) and Dr Jason Fung and another one ( difficult name to remember, he looks East Indian and wears a hat) who's video talks about " Why you can't keep a diet or fast) And Dr David Sinclair ( looks INCREDIBLY young) he specifically studies longevity and what increases the health and lifespan of mice, and he's doing it on himself and looks like he's aging backwards. I did a 3 day WATER FAST, and I literally detoxed hand sanitizer. I could smell it coming out of me, even though I hadn't used any in weeks. - I've been saying that we're all going to find out what hand sanitizer does to the body, because we've been absorbing gallons of it for 2-3 years. ☹️. Let alone the constant stress of " touching anything" germs might literally kill you. I've been hesitant to give up coffee and 1/2+1/2. David Sinclair said that coffee is actually okay and has been shown to have benefits. ( Maybe quit for a short while to reset the body.) Anyway mold in the walls/ attic etc doesn't help.
I switched to decaf coffee since I learned that you need 6-7 ours to metabolize half of it. If you have a coffee at nine am you'll have 1/4 coffee at 9 pm. The psychological effect of coffee is more important to me than coffee.
I have CPTSD from trauma and abuse. Cortisol damaged my frontal lobe from childhood and teens. It's the extreme, but beyond the damage, we have to deal and cope. It takes time to regulate, but the damage is done. The suffering and struggle was helped by an antidepressant but what you mention in tests would be helpful also. It's a start. Thank You.
I've only just discovered Dr. Wentz on another podcast, what a Godsend! I will definitely be inputting some of her suggestions. She addresses issues that often get overlooked by mainstream medicine
Excellent interview ! They really cover all the downward steps and symptoms of being adrenal fatigued, adrenal exhaustion and chronic fatigue. Best of all they go through a comprehensive list of how to recover and not just accept this as a way of life . Excellent !
I really don't understand these interviews where they talk about something for an hour, and talk about their "patients" but then you go to the website and it is just a bunch of amazon links and books instead of being able to get a consultation ..
Good Morning Dr thank you for the video with Dr Galland i had covid in january and my dr doesnt believe I have long covid and I have all the classic health issues .. brain fog, CFS, GI issues, Anxiety, weak aching limbs, BP spikes , nausea, dizziness, sleep issues. Drs tell me I have viral syndrome because they know nothing about LC. I have not felt the same since I had Covid. God help us all. Idk what the existing hyperthyroid disease is doing now. I am waiting for labs results and seeing a Cardio next week. This is so scary and debilitating as I am 68 and live alone. Thank you for informing us that we are not crazy. My diet is clean. I feel like a demon got in my body and never left.
I can relate to how you feel. I live in a dark upstairs flat, I don't have enough energy or will power to do basic house chores hoping I will feel better the next day but that better day seldom ever comes and once in a while when it does if I do too much I end up in bed for about 2 days. It is spring time now so I will try to get out more when I get up in the morning which for me is 12 midday. I wish you well and hope you can beat this.
I so agree! Had Covid end of march , massive body aches . On my third week and can’t kick it. Energy low, told it will pass . Have other friend experiences the same. Your not alone.
@@regineceleste9916 Hi I found out I have Athersclerosis corotid 50-60 plaque and aortic calcification and right now dealing with a stye/chaelazeon with drops and oral anti b. I'm a terrible mess. I'm praying for healing bc I will not take a Statin. I have fine tuned my diet and lifestlyle even more. I'm trying very hard to manage stress bc now I have gone hypothyroid for the first time ever...everything is all out of whack. Wish I had better news and thank you for asking. Stay Blessed 🤗
I went to the doctors 3 times in the past for chronic fatigue. They always gave a battery of blood tests, and once a cat scan. Every time they told me "theres nothing wrong", and I would tell them "Yes, there is". The last doctor got angry with me and accused me of trying to get him to prescribe amphetamines. I told him I wouldn't take them even if he gave them to me. I asked him about my adrenal levels. He got angry at that too, and said "You do not have any problem with your adrenal levels". I then asked him if I could take a look at the results of the blood tests he had in his hands. He refused, and said something about it being "proprietary hospital data".
The doctor was wrong. The law now requires patient access to all medical notes & test results. Not sure if it's HIPPA or the Affordable Care Act that mandated patient access. The nurse at check-out gives me a copy when I ask. Some hospitals post online -- you create a log-in username & password. Then, as soon as they have the info, you have it, too. More doctors are now affiliated with hospitals, which follow the law carefully.
your doctor is wrong, your blood tests are your proprietary data- you have the right to those results. I'd go to the hospital and threaten him with a lawsuit if he doesn't want to release my blood tests. I always received my blood tests.
I’m sorry for your experience. Traditional doctors stink. You’ll never get anywhere with them. Functional, integrative or natural doctors are the only ones you’ll ever get answers from (and maybe even them depending on their training and/or motivation).
You go to records department and get them ! Those are yours and you have the right to your records! Demand them if they won’t give them. Then also get the heck out of there and find a new place to go.
I WAS GOING TO A CHIROPRACTOR WHO CLUED ME IN TO ADRENALS. I ALSO WENT TO AN ENDOCRINOLOGIST FOR A TEST TO TAKE A PILL & GET A BLOOD TEST AT CERTAIN TIMES OF THE DAY FOR MY ADRENALS
Excellent, so inspring and a very aware in-depth young lady health practitioner who brought several new and renewed concepts to the table. Thank you Izabella and Mark!
Adrenal hyperplasia is serious. The HPA Axis is involved and it effects everything. It leads to burnout. If you work past burnout it will be worse the next time. You get to a point where you cannot cope with stress and you withdraw from everything to survive.
Thank you for this!!! Very informative. I can definitely relate!!! With me being a Holistic Health practitioner, this is very helpful for me to pass this on. Awesome stuff. Keep sharing!!!!!!
Thank you for so eloquently speaking on the subject of Adrenals. I have been trying for years to find a functional MD in Austin who recognizes adrenal disfunction. If anyone could direct me to someone I could see in Austin, I would greatly appreciate it. 🥰
I watched the whole thing as difficult as it was it was interesting to see how some people think. In my opinion, being able to debate and respect other people's opinions/morals is a great sign of human intelligence. It was very clear to see who was the superior human in this "interveiw". I'm now wondering how much of their intelligence was influenced by their diets?
Well that's incredibly dangerous. An acquaintance did that and also fell asleep while smoking and kept starting house fires. It was a heart condition. Better get it checked out just in case. You might need a stent or something very simple, to fix a blockage. ♥️ Blessings to you.
$500 for first consultation with Functional Med Dr (insurance pays zip) here in far Upstate rural NY - tests were out of my reach $750+. Dr Tom OBryan & you guide my protocols + Asprey
