I love that I can walk away when I know any other person couldn't. It cracks me up when boyfriends would say they could read me like a book. So stupid. Hahaha!
This is totally spot on, at least for me. BUT what I've learnt throughout the years us that, just because you can, it doesn't mean you should. In fact, being the more insightful and more superior(in some aspects) person, allows you to play things in a way so that you don't hurt the "opponent" in return. I personally try to be the better person and not put people down. Just leaving them is bad enough. Btw, no matter how smart you think you are as an INFJ or whatever, there's always smarter people than you, so be humble. Cheers :)
I agree. You don't always have to take action. It takes a lot of time and energy to engage in a fight and I have found that turning stuff over to God works out very well. He can handle things better than I can. I had to learn to fight back, though, because I used to be a passive victim and that's not healthy. I needed to grow a backbone and then prove to myself that I'm not a coward. So, I've done that, I know what a tiger I can be, but it's so much lovelier when I put things in God's hands and He works it out in ways that ends up with the person's heart being softened, instead of them hating me.

Haha! Pretty much spot on. The thing that people who wish to pick a fight using mind games or indeed, any fight, need to know that they will LOOSE. The key to being an INFJ-A is knowing yourself, realising that you have nothing to loose or to prove. When attempted manipulation takes place, not on just the INFJ but the ones we love, you will find us to be a formidable & undefeatable opponent. You will definitely walk away with a funny limp. You would be better off, sandpapering a lions ass, wearing a pair of pork chop panties, than starting a fight with an INFJ.
Well said and love your sense of humor! 😁 When provoked, I tend to turn my back and walk away, knowing they think they've gotten the upper hand--and also waiting for them to take a cheap shot at me from behind. Unfortunately, for the bully who chose to do that physically, he found himself on the floor in seconds with no chance to get up. I am not a fighter, never was, and so he had no idea where my strength came from--and to be fair, neither did I, except most likely the rage. It was scary because I felt like I had lost control of myself, and it had taken a half a dozen of the kids in the upper grade to get me off him . . . I'm now thinking of the song 'Jeremy' by Pearl Jam, maybe because of your handle? . . . Anyway, great song if you haven't heard it. Yes, narcissists, do not mess with us, as tender as we may look. Yes, I have mirrored another in hopes that they could see what they're doing to me. Sometimes it has been a benefit... other times it has not. If only there was a way to connect with others other than going to that point.
I watch your videos everyday and they seem to align with just what I need to learn about myself at the present time. Yes I do manipulate people back when they continuously bring me down . We are often targeted by sneaky power players and insecure or jealous individuals. To help these people understand the impact of their behaviour I step back, observe them first by mirroring, and then do become brutally honest and point out their deepest insecurities if they continue to try to deceive or play games with me. I think that it will help them understand that you shouldn't play games with people's psyche. I will in a very careful and constructive way, point out their trauma related narcissistic tendencies and illustrate to them why I think they do what they do, which automatically diffuses the situation but consequently it can and I believe does damage the ego and bring to the surface hidden traumas for these people. I hope that they will learn to take others emotions and feelings seriously as well as learn to be okay with their own.
When I or an INFJ manipulates, it’s like a tactical operation on a white board. More often than not, we do have anger but we also see that a lesson can be taught to the manipulator. I used to manipulate a lot in high school and college years until I hit 20. When I was betrayed, gossiped, cheated or led on in mind games. I used covert extremes to scare and use psychological warefare against who ever did me wrong. I am no longer like that thank God. Being a Damaged INFJ that healed. I now just give people enough time and interaction for them to reveal themselves. Just recently discovered the most innocent person can often be lying , manipulator and plays mind games. I had this feeling the person was putting on a act. The person told me, I can’t be my other sides around you. I said to myself , That’s because I see right through the BS and now gained valuable information about your intentions based off your actions and emotional manipulations.
I was at a party talking to a pregnant girl. Asking her when she was due. She told me July 16, so I said , Oh, you're baby is a Cancer. Her boyfriend walked up (who I have never met) and said, "The only Cancer I knew was a REAL Cancer". I just smiled. Then later on was talking to another woman who was asking for chili flakes (we were at Chuckie E. CHEESE). So I said, you probably have to ask for it, because they probably don't want the kids to be getting into it. HE butted in AGAIN and said, "I've been eating chili flakes since I was 5yrs old". So I smiled again, sighed, then said, "Is THIS how it's gonna be"? He just looked at me and said nothing. So I turned my head to the woman and continued my conversation with her.

Yeah I think most sigmas view attempted manipulation with mild bemusement because to a sigma it's so obvious that it's almost shocking that the manipulator doesn't see how uniquely visible he or she is to one of them. There may even initially be mild enjoyment and slight amusement, but the harder the manipulator doubles down the more it becomes a matter of deadly intent to the sigma. The sigma begins weighing just how drastically he or she needs to crush the manipulator, then sort of takes a back seat as he or she watches it play out. The decision comes out of the blue, almost as if it is itself a component of a sigma's intuition, and the sigma formulates the reaction then sets to work already foreseeing the outcome. It's not even a game, it's more like breathing- it just kind of happens.
The only time I know of that I manipulated another back was an ex. He immediately got of on a dating website and was with other women. As soon as I found out I did the same. Having a profile on the dating site he was on. It lead to me being with another and showing him I was capable of the same. This was not something I wanted to do nor would have done on my own accord. This, however, showed him that I was not going to wallow in grief and was capable of getting attention just the same as him. We are still, now, currently married.
To be honest I have done this ,but they shouldn't have played mind games.... Its been game over for a long time, yet they kept playing so I just gave it to God so they would learn the lessons that they decided to learn!....
We are skilled with mirrors and games. I use these tactics to improve others inner being as well. Most times people are in their own way, you gotta show them the problem...
Yes, I have given a manipulator another chance. I am in my 10th yr of marriage and have split the relationship a few times during. I have gone back in hopes that the mental maturity has been growing over the years. I believe it has but I still hold to my values as time unfolds. I am not proud of saying I have given many opportunities but hopeful that we have not wasted our time. There is a lesson in all things.

I did exactly that to narcissistic woman who thought she could play mind games with me. I played along, not calling out the bad behavior, hoping she was just having a bad day, but no.. I wiped the narcissistic half-smile they all have off her face in epic fashion. It’s a mistake to think kindness and mildness is a weakness you can exploit.
These sound very familiar but "teaching any abuser a lesson" just doesn't work with narcissists. Why would I want to teach an asshole anything. It's peace or fucking war and war has no lessons.
Paradoxically, if you're on the level with us, we are the kindest people (with just glimmers of here and there of being an edge-lord) and an easy going person to hangout with, enabling your deepest dreams and desires, we enjoy making your fantasies come into reality (we are a service-oriented personality type). With an ENTP partner, we become a comedic duo and having fun exploring new places and ideas together. I've seen this side of me (this video)... you don't want to poke a lone wolf too often. One of the easiest things for us to spot is an overinflated ego. We know how to exploit it and mostly importantly we know exactly how to deflate it, not for revenge, but for the sake of redemption. About being a "Sigma INFJ": I have developed the ability to be a very sharp and accurate judge of character. Because of this I know who to cut out of my life.I don't bother to manipulate that type of person.I just dump them.
So accurate, someone manipulates me right now and I'm pissed off but I'm just calm. I control and manipulate back and she doesn't know because I'm playing dumb and giving so many positive signals and playing with her emotions. HAHA
Actually I do let the red flags slide occasionally so you are given the benefit of doubt previous mistakes or this time you want to change.. This allows me time to gather evidence but then again I'm not a sigma male
I've given people more chances-- but I'm more and more cautious with each subsequent chance, and those that don't deserve another chance never know when it's their LAST chance. People always show you who they are-- just be observant and protect yourself when you have that gut feeling that something isn't right.
The little injustices I went through as a child with my parents... always hearing "because I said so" which is NOT a reason. I would exact my revenge on them at the right time. Now I only use my powers for against true evil. But seriously, parents give a better reason and just be fair.
As a parent, legally I don't owe them an explanation. I'm in charge. As a human with a loving soul, I understand that providing reasons IS what they need and deserve as blossoming future adults. It's teaching them how to live. Any parent that doesn't take the time and effort is cheating their child (and themselves! As they say, "the teacher always learns most") to many parents forget they are the #1 teacher.
Oh yes. I manipulated someone back. I worked for a lady in her restaurant for five years. One day, a customer asked me how I liked my job. I enthusiastically replied that I loved my job and I had a wonderful boss. I really meant it, but when I said I had a wonderful boss, it was too much for this woman. She knew a woman who used to work in this restaurant who had confided in her. She asked, "Do you get stat holiday pay?" I didn't know, and I didn't know if I was supposed to. But if I was owed money, I did not have the emotional energy to deal with it just then because my teenaged children were acting out. They started to settle down a year later, and one day, I was at a park right across from the Employment Standards office. I had checked my paycheques and there was no stat. holiday pay on them. I had asked my friends if I was entitled to it, and even the ones in university said that I wasn't because I worked only six-hour shifts. I did not want to be unfair to my boss by being angry with her for something that she wasn't obligated to do. I went into the office to clear up my confusion and asked about it, and they said, yes, even though I worked part-time, I was supposed to get stat. holiday pay. My blood pressure hit the ceiling and I filed a complaint then and there. I was outraged that this woman knew the problems I had with my children, and how a drug dealer and drug addicts lived in other suites in the house where I rented, but I could not afford to move to a better neighbourhood for my children. And all that time, she pretended to be a benevolent boss. Furthermore, she often treated herself to weekend trips at a swanky resort and was preparing to go to Europe. ON MY MONEY! I also realized that I subconsciously knew she was ripping me off because of a dream I'd had some years before, but I had not understood it at the time. Being in denial about her flaws was how I was keeping myself happy doing that job. She had no idea I filed a claim against her for the two months I had to wait for her to get the registered letter informing her of it. I wasn't being fake. I reasoned, "I am a friendly person. I will just keep on acting like I always do, but I won't tell her about the claim, though she would love to know about it because I DON'T PLAY BY HER RULES." Her rules were for her advantage. She was so mad at me when she got those papers. She fired me a month later, without good cause, so I eventually got severance pay through my claim. I stuck around because I would have found it hard to get another job in a restaurant, and I was undereducated for anything better. I wrote her some angry letters about what she did to me, and I mailed a copy of each of them to Employment Standards. When we met with the claims officer, he entered the office with a stack of papers and a disgruntled look on his face. He said, "What is with all these papers? I have seen less papers in bankruptcy cases." My boss had gotten a copy of everything I sent them. I said, "I knew she would throw my letters in the garbage, but she would read what I sent to you to find out what I was saying about her. I don't care if you read them or not." He blinked and said, "Fair enough." My ex-boss' eyes shot daggers at me because I foiled her. Lol! I won the case and it was the first time anyone in Canada ever recovered all their tips from an employer. Yep, I went for that, too. I was able to do it because I always claimed all my tips on my income tax return. I kept records and knew exactly how much she confiscated to punish me when I stood up to her over other matters throughout the years, though when she hired me, she said I could keep all my tips. Employers aren't allowed to demand tips from the servers to cover the expense of running their business. They are the sole property of the staff members who have direct contact with the public. If I had agreed to give up a percentage of my tips, it would have been a different matter to me, but she took them out of spite. First it was 10% and then 25%. Part of my motivation for filing the claim was to teach this woman that her restaurant was not a principality within Canada where she could make her own rules and ignore the law. She used to have an excellent employee who I loved working with, and after that girl got a job in a library, she never stopped in to say hello, even when we could see her walk by. My boss wondered why. She found out why at the tribunal. That girl came to it as a supporting witness. She was ticked off, too, about not getting stat. holiday pay, but she had been working three jobs and didn't have the energy to go after her for it. The only employees who got stat. holiday pay were the cranky ones who she knew would not let her get away with it. Such a crappy way to treat your nice employees, eh?

Yeah, mind games with a SIGMA INFJ are not recommended. Now, I don't Ike playing games and while someone may think they have the upper hand, the SIGMA, likely can't be bothered addressing the issue, but be assurred a mental note has been taken, until they are pushed too far.
Most of time just observe and take note of the weak and ugly characters then remember when the need to be real with someone, comes along. Like a log of reasons to void other ppl’s feelings.

Honestly, just wait a little longer lol. Once you’re worn out and give up in despair of ever being loved and understood, you are kinda born again as someone just playing this game called Planet Earth. Which as an INFJ, to me is just to be an embodiment of the logic of Good being superior to Evil. People have to see it lived out to learn and feel shame. Though it becomes a game, it doesn’t really make life easier. But you learn to feed off the negativity instead of shrinking away from it. Kind of like if you expect the ocean to be calm and peaceful, the waves knock you over. But if you go in expecting to be hit with wave after wave, you brace yourself, dive into it, make a game out of it. And it isn’t calm and serene but it feels better than being knocked around.

I have an old INFP male friend on Facebook and ENFP female both were toxic so I kicked them out of my life. Previously I've Also kicked out some old friends from school life who went into wrong things. Aah, it feels so good. Since childhood I was not able to say NO to people and sometimes it looks like I'm forced to do a thing that I simply just don't wanna do. Like once I make a friend, they force me in my life forever. I tried many times to end our friendship but they come again and again by making fake IDs LoL. It was literally a headache. I tried to tell them that I didn't like them, but I was too shy 😩

I even know some events that are going to happen in the future like World War 3 and what might happen to the world according to my geopolitical analysis and intuitive judging. I don't get dreams often but a few months back I had ONE dream and it was like I had seen the future. It was destruction everywhere 😭 As I said I don't dream often but it was like a signal from God to plan something. Anyways I am also like an empathetic sponge who absorbs the negativity of people and it hurts me. I easily accept the negativity of toxic people and it's very hard for me to remove it once I've absorbed it. 🙄 And the suffering continues...

I am a single male and looking for a compatible female to marry. I've heard that INFP or ENFP might be compatible but I don't think so because there are conflicts between us INFJs and INFPs or INFJs and ENFPs. I don't know how to find an INFJ female because they might be hiding somewhere 😂🥲 Well, I'm discovering more and more about the mbti and it looks like that only a true INFJ female can understand my feelings 🥺
@59 years old I've been through many phases, when toxic people are in my life (mostly at work) I just remember that they are their own worst enemy, they are stuck being themselves, therefore I pity them. Some people are like a wounded animal in a steel trap, offer a hand and you get bitten.

What happens to Sigma INFJ's is their are hated, because the people who hated them, didn't realize how shallow they were being, until they were called out on their bull larky. Then they have a aha moment, they wake up to something better, and realized how much that Sigma INFJ cared for them, but then it becomes too late for them to be in this inner circle, causing them to miss out on someone they truly could have trusted, only leaving themselves to the wolves. Just because a SIGMA INFJ person forgives them, doesn't mean they want to have anything to do with them. Truly the greatest loss for the people trying to play the game, against the one who took the time to show them how much they really truly cared. Shameful really. Oftentimes a Sigma INFJ person will tolerate only one person and their stupidity, because they know that one person can affect a family, a business, so on and so forth. Generally they will not give the time of day to anyone else to do the same thing, because they don't have the energy to expand, they only give the energy to the situation that relates to the most important people in their life, even then they simply know it's better to keep the person in the circle, and not for any other reason, but to just save the family, etc.
😂 it's not funny but kinda comical. There's a balance, you've got to be certain they aren't literally harmful because the way they can be made to fall could be a travesty. Of course INFJ consider this before execution 😅
