he obviously was borrowing it so he can pay training partners, travel, pay rent, buy good food for his whole team you dont see francis flexing and living fancy people with a punch like francis pay sparring partners like 1000- 5000 dollars per round.... then you need to feed them, get a playce to sleep for them etc.... that adds up in a training camp really fast floyd mayweathers training camps cost him millions...
What Brendan seems to not be picking up on is that most of the audience that dislikes seeing masvidal and Diaz box as opposed to something in mma is the issue, and that they are simply doing this for the bag. As an audience we want to see these two professional mma fighters, do just that - fight mma against each other. They aren’t boxers, the last time Nate boxed for a bag was against Jake Paul and was a lack luster performance from Diaz from beginning to end. Lastly I just want to touch on the fighter pay aspect of all of this , an aspect Brendan has gone out of his way to explain but hasn’t thought about how much money they have both made outside of ufc already, (Brendan even mentions both of them having their own production company while explaining ufc fighters need to do this outside of the ufc because they are paid so poorly. These are 2 of the most popular fighters , both bound for the hall of fame no doubt. These aren’t the guys struggling to survive that Brendan is referring to. His point is valid for the majority of fighters but the reason the fans aren’t ok with this has nothing to do with that. The reason fans are mad is that these 2 legendary fighters are opting to box each other for a big bag , instead of mma. It’s selling out for the money.
Coner has probably made around 40 million from the UFC so yes he is set from the. Financial irresponsibility is why guys dont set themselves up. Also these production companies these guys have means they will get a little more there are tons of mouths to feed and other owners. They may only own 5 percent of the company and its just their name thats attached so people recognize the brand.

White Jorge vs Nate is a pretty decent boxing match, I don’t care to watch out of prime fighters do boxing at all and highly doubt I will ever pay for it. They can find other avenues for income other than boxing and that’s fact. Also, all these newer “media” that you say know fighter pay isn’t great they just wouldn’t ever say anything
