My Teacher gave me a Stuffed animal caused i was depressed for a while and she noticed and told me this toy represents you being happy everytime you feel down look a the toy and remember to smile, She's the best and most sweet teacher i'v ever met!
Last year in class i was crying when the boys were bullying me and then I thought the teacher would do something because he saw me crying but he didn’t and later i talked to him about it and he said ”u weren’t really crying" like what the how r u a teacher

LOL bc with chemistry we we're talking about what things can change like, a spoon can't change when you throw it to a ground and stuff. Soyeah, he showed by throwing spoons lol. If my teachers were anything like this, I'd appreciate them a lot more. My teachers are bitter and rude. They don't set very good examples and they don't care about their students.
I try to be very nice to my teachers. Some of the kids in my class have no respect for ANYTHING and are complete idiots... Teachers deserve so much more then some of the crap they are given. Give respect for your teachers.
Yup even the ones who hate me for no reason and call us nasty on the first day for misbehaving (actually happened) I still know they are PEOPLE and they have the right to be grumpy. Always be polite to people, even the ones who are rude. Not because they are nice, but because you are.

***** That sucks. My teacher just straight up assumed I was drawing and told me to speak with her after class and I had no idea what for. So yeah, I got detention, and made a fool of myself by crying. (That was the first detention I've had in my entire life, and it was for something I didn't do.) And... the detention slip.... the reason was.... "Drawing in class instead of taking notes" when I actually took 3 PAGES OF NOTES.
"Teachers have to be nice all the time" my touter at school hated me! I was never rode to her or any teacher she just has it out for me!!!..... 😡😡😡 My art teacher was the only teacher that I felt I could open up to, by the end of year 10 she treated me like a adult and spoke to me like a friend would... She left on the last day of year 10, I never got to say good bye.... 😭

My 3rd grade teacher called me a drama queen and a cry baby, let me be bullied by other kids, watched me cry and didn't care, punished me for standing up for myself, humiliated me in front of the class, yelled at me, and was never nice to me. My middle-high school music teacher is really nice to me and has inspired me to want to pursue music in life. She tries to keep me on the right track and helps me with any work that I don't understand (even though she doesn't teach the subject) and is trying to improve my skills as a musician!!
Don't get me wrong there are some great teachers who have had a huge impact on my life, but then there are some teachers that it just like... where did you get your teaching degree... a cereal box?
***** When I was in 2nd grade, we had this bitchy teacher who thought that simple POLITE corrections were complaints, once in our spelling quiz, she interchanged to numbers and we told her that it was switched, she bitched around the whole period about how she tries to do her best and that all we do is to keep nitpicking and that she had a better class the last year and that we were terrible students and why were we still there wasting our time when we could be "smart" even without school, and us 8-year-olds, we were just like "Wuuut??" And all she did was make us memorize crap that didn't have any connection to our subject OR topic. So I'm with you on that one.
Some teachers are like that but I only had one good teacher! The other ones threatened us to through us out the window or they said we would all end up working at mcdonalds or living in a box
Reading these comments makes me so sad. I'm studying to be a high school English teacher, and I honestly couldn't be more enthralled with what I'm doing. I want to be a teacher more than anything on this earth; I want to inspire students, I want to change a student's life, to make a child feel special and see their potential inside and outside of my classroom. I want to make kids excited to come to my class, to have a student who once abhorred the subject to say, "You know, English wasn't so bad this year." That's honestly all I want out of life. I was born to teach, and it is certainly what I'll die doing.
I don't personally like all my teachers but I realised how much they have taught me, I'm finally grateful for going to school, I hope you are too. Have a great day today or tomorrow because you deserve it!
my teacher is not like this at all. he yells at us if we ask questions and is never honest and/or fair. this crybaby in my class is favored and when he cries, he's given tissues and stuff but when other people cry, he yells at them. he pretends to ask nice and smiles when around other teachers but unleashes his anger on us students.
Honestly, all the teachers I've ever had were amazing. Your teacher isn't bad because they are strict or they raise their voice. Just be grateful you actually have one.
Lucky. All my teachers were crap. My 2nd grade teacher ate chocolate with her mouth full in the middle of class, took away a kids candy and NEVER gave it back, and all of my friends in different classrooms could hear her very well from how LOUD SHE WAS SCREAMING
My favorite teacher at my school-- she's my TA, and she's like my school mom. She always looks out for me, and helps us with financial troubles. She says I'm her favorite student and that makes me really happy. She even helps me cope with a chronic illness I have.

I know my mom and her coworkers well, they work at an elementary school for kindergarten through 2nd grade. Since its a school for a lower class economy, they deal with a lot of things. My mom and her coworkers really spend time outside of school to make sure the kids have the best chance. My mom has bought backpacks, clothes, food, and even toys for some of the kids at her school with our own money, even though we are at the short end of middle class. She stands up for any child being bullied, or being abused at home. Sadly not all teachers are like this, but they do A LOT of things behind the scenes that are truly wonderful. They don't get much credit, and they really do not make as much money as it's worth. Being a teacher is a big commitment for little rewards. Really take time to thank your teacher, even if you don't necessarily like them. Some of my hardest teachers have helped me the most. Teachers are really wonderful teachers.
I never had a teacher like this up until this year. This year I have the nicest teacher. She always listens to me and helps me get through everything I am going through right now.

My best teacher taught me to read when no one else thought I could, they said I was too dyslexic, I'm currently majoring in English literature, reading every book I can get my hands on, and it would never have been possible without her, so thank you with all my heart :)
My 4th grade teacher was also my first drama teacher. She helped me get through my nervous jitters and helped me learn about my talent of acting and singing. We still keep in touch. Thats why i love my old teachers
one time I was heading out of class then the janitor came .I decided to thank for helping the school stay clean then he shook my hand and said thank you. I think I'm the first one who ever thanked him in my school
Everybody here is like: Oh, my techers do nothing for me.But seriously, my mother is a teacher and she works the whole day long. Like really, the whole day. After being in school for the whole morning, often even longer than she had to because some kid or some parents wanted to talk to her about anything, she comes home and prepares dinner. After that she goes preparing the lessons for the next day and correcting some tests till afternoon. Then she has to do household stuff, maybe driving around to take her kids to some friends, wash clothes and then it's time to prepare supper. After that she still has to do a lot. Even though we try to help her as much as we can, she still has as good as no time for herself. And still, she loves her job and does everything to help her students. Just because we can't really see, how hard teachers work, doesn't mean, they don't do it.

Mine is because mine is deputy head she brings us cookies and buys us things with her own money she hugs us when we cry even though we are 11 she uses chocolate in math she lets us eat skittles in the advanced lessons I do I will really miss her as im going to secondary thank you Mrs Anderson you were way better than the teachers in this video 😭
they are talking about jobs with a salarie, sometimes we have to be like their parents, occasionally some kids call us mom or dad, and its sad that in some countries is not appreciated, people think that is easy to be a teacher

Having always been homeschooled, I really appreciate all the time my mom has put into my life. She has the hardest job as a mother of 5 and teacher of 3 of her own adolescent kids. But really, she's amazing at it. So proud to call her my mom, and thankful.
I only ever had three teachers throughout my fifteen years of life so far who have been this nice. Even though one of them sometimes do act harsh, she's just trying to push me to be the best that I can be.
I'm in year 9 (Britain), age 13 and I struggle alot with depression and anxiety. Over the past week I have had 50 minutes of sleep and 9 anxiety attacks. There is this one teacher who I trust and I tell her everything, even when I went through a self harm stage she knew. All week I have been piling everything up on her and I felt really bad because she is not only pregnant but she also has depression herself. Today I gave her a diamante heart pendant necklace to thank her for everything she has got me through over the past week. She burst into tears and told me that she was having a really bad day, she was feeling sick, stressed and wanted to go home. She told me that the gift made her day and it was worth staying in work for. We hugged then I had to go to my next lesson. What she didn't know was I was having a rough day too and that her reaction to the gift had made my day. Little gestures like this can really brighten up someone's day so try extra hard to be nice to someone, you never know how they're feeling ❤
My English teacher is the greatest ever, I don't like sitting in large groups of people so she lets me sit in her room and organise things because it calms me down
Ah, I love this video, it reminds me of my choir teacher. He has been a very great teacher, friend, and father figure. I remember going up to him one day to talk to him about my depression. He knew my artistic skills in drawing, so he gave me homework to do. He told me to draw the things I am thankful for on paper. Color it, and then when I'm finished, hang it on my bedroom door so when I awake, I see the things I'm still thankful for. But I just *had* to put him on the list of the things I'm thankful for. There's a lot of other stories about me and my choir teacher, but this is one of them.
Okay, alot of people are hating on teachers and I'm really bothered by this. Sure, you might have a teacher who doesn't deserve their job because they are not a good role model, but you're also completely ignoring those GOOD teachers. As someone who's parent is a teacher, let me tell you this; a good teacher cares about his/her students. And this teacher/parent of mine tries so hard to make her students have the best learning environment possible. She cares for her kids, gets to work at six thirty in the morning, and when she finally gets home, grades and plans the lessons for her next class. And it's true, the pay is far less than is fair. I look up to her for this, and you should too. Take a second to appreciate those teachers who put this effort in for YOU.
Agreed. Some teachers are good, some are bad. What if you someday turned into a teacher, or all teachers disappeared? The generations would become dumb and stupid without them, and where does that lead humanity?
wow, if your teacher really did say this I hope you've told someone because no, people like him don't deserve the right to have authority and treat people like that. Like I said, not ALL teachers are perfect, but neither are we, and some of them are amazing. But seriously did this happen and did you tell someone?
How I wish every teacher cares for their students like that. My homeroom teacher during elementary has favoritism. It was really obvious whom she loves and hate. She removed me from the art competition because I accidentally used a high pitch of voice on her.
+Matt Vella It's hard, both my parents work at a private school with sports and everything and I'm not able to ever go shopping if I need something unless it's planned WAY in advanced. Plus, they spend late nights grading, making test or assignments or meeting with students to help them. It's a really hard job with much meaning, long hours of work and little money.
Hannah Holdaway I was not denying that fact it was a hard job .What I'm saying there are jobs much harder then Teaching. As for the school since its private it does not mean it's the same way with any other school private or puplicly funded school. When it comes to planning things like shopping that's your issue and has nothing to do with teaching.

Middle and High school teachers have it way worse. First they have to teach harder material. They have to put up with some really bad kids. They are usually at school from 7:45 to 4:00 at my public school. And even when they are at home, they have to make lesson plans.
Bart Thebat True, but some teachers have an unacceptable attitude like being stingy towards their students for NO REASON, for example, some certain teachers that won't help you when you ask for it, they constantly make comments on your stupidity( or lack of knowledge) for simply making a mistake, they just won't listen to you and just wants it his/her way or no way ( that was cheesy ).They're always putting some kids down, you know? It's probably because of the stress of their job, but some teachers really piss me off...
***** Some of my middle school teachers were alright. I still go to my old middle school (when I get out of my high school) to drop by and say hi to them.
I remember going through a really, really hard point when I was fourteen and horribly bullied, and my English teacher let me wait outside of the classroom then, when she got the rest of the students doing their work, she came outside and hugged me and comforted me and waited with me until I was okay to come back in.
My History teacher and my Spanish teacher are legitimately my best friends, I couldn’t live without them. They help me believe in myself and make me feel worth something. Not all grown ups don’t understand what we’re going though ❤️
In a way, they are correct. In order for us to be successful, we need to be able to deal with being shouted at for no reason, and we need to face life when it is unfair to us.
My old Year Six teacher was AWESOME! She always tried to make the lesson interesting, she encouraged everyone to do their best and was the funniest person I know! Without her, I would never have been inspired to do the things I do like art, creative literature and netball (even though I hate sports!) She also helped me when it came to social skills and without her, I wouldn't have the amazing friends I have!
+Amelia Patel My Year 7 Maths teacher is the best and worst teacher iv'e had. Good in the way that when you left his classroom, he made sure you had learnt what you needed to learn before leaving, bad in the way that he could get annoyed at the tiniest of things, would shout constantly, would be annoyed at you even if you had a valid reason to not do your homework, and had a note and everything. Though, as I said, he made sure that whatever you needed to learn before the end of class, you had learnt it, and everybody in his class were some of top in maths in the school.
When ever I have a teacher like this I try to savor every moment I have in their class. Not all teachers are like this. These teachers make me actually look forward to school. For me that would be my English teacher. Can anybody else relate?
I have a teacher that so funny all the time......sometimes she's mad but she mad because we did a wrong thing and she loves us.....you need to be really really thankful to your teacher because all of the things they did for you....even maybe they not treat you good bit she always there for us....for any teachers out there, I want to say that thank you very much for teaching us everything that we need to know in this world...thank you so much...
Teachers are very under appreciated. The pay is terrible, you have to work with whiney kids, it is pretty bad. My dad was a music teacher, and he had to work three jobs just to barely support our family.
Wow I feel really bad for your Dad. My teacher accidentally left their Paycheck on their desk (New teacher, first year at the school) And a kid used his phone to take a picture of the 5600$ paycheck over 2 weeks
Some of my teachers don't even teach, just hand us a book and tells us to do some problems, despite us having no clue. Some of them actually teach, but all of them, but one, do it incorrectly, as they seem really lazy, rushed, or just really boring. I hope a lot more teachers would actually get into their job, as that would start to get the students' attention, and encourage them to do better, and actually try. (As 95% of students, including me, have at least one class that they do work in because they have to, and not because they want to.)
She changed my mind about passing physical education because she told me not to worry everythings going to be ok when I clearly know it was not . I appreciate her because she took the time to teach me a sport that she did not like.
