Yeah there is not necessarily a need if you intend to leave the car stock and live in a cooler climate.

But djeebs lives in ARIZONA and the car is on a tune aswell. He needs to upgrade. Lol

Alot of people have already done it. As a matter of fact some folks have gone with a decent big turbo and still kept it a daily. As long as you dont modify everything to where it all has to be custom and you have to have auxilary fuel, you're good.

2018 ST owner here. Daily driven. I'm running an aftermarket intercooler, BOV, intake and exhaust with a performance calibration from Mountune. The car feels like such a beast over how it felt from the factory. An oil catch can and intercooler are some of the first mods that should be done on these cars, IMHO.

That’s not true. I installed the intercooler first when I originally ran an e30 tune. I changed over to the procal after I had the intercooler installed and never had any issues. Pro cal was smooth with lots of usable torque. No real noticeable hp gain over factory. Only downside I remember was it lost some of the natural engine breaking the st has factory. Never any issues with the intercooler. Intercooler will just give you more consistent and cooler charge air temps. Can’t see how that would negatively effect any tune.

@@DanDiMaggio thank you so much for replying to me! I didnt understand when he said that to me. I wanted to go with the Ford Performance Cal because of my warranty (just big on it and dont think I need much more of a tune than the ford tune) most people say they really enjoy that tune alot. I have MBRP exhaust and Roush Coldair intake. do you have any other suggestions?

@@ice83wij believe it or not my favorite mod I ever did to that car was a steeda clutch spring. It’s the assist spring that goes behind the pedal. It made it much better easier and smooth to modulate. Second one would be a rear sway bar. Easy install and gets rid of nearly all the under steer. I went with steeda on that too but there’s many options. I actually sold this car a while ago and kick myself every day🤦‍♂️. I’m actually on the search for a fiesta ST now.

Danesli Ronces yes it will help alot with heat soak even on a stock car.
