Hello! Just want to say that this was helpful! I had no idea people still vlog! I'm really happy they do! I also had my 10 year anniversary in 2020. But I didn't do anything about it because my old subscribers at the time weren't active on RU-vid anymore. I used to vlog a lot and made other geners of video too. My view count was so low then I realized they weren't around anymore. So I stopped vlogging and moved my channel for my entertainment stuff. I figured my channel (this one) was dead. There's no way I can revive this one BUT your video helped me realized that I can vlog again in some way! Thank you so much!

Thank you for this video! This topic is so interesting, I completely agree :) . However, sometimes vlogging can be hard :( I feel my vlogs always end up being quite boring because of different factors. First of all, the people I live with are not really into social media and do not want to be filmed. That means I am always filming in my room or sneaking into other rooms to try and film in a different space. Also, my daily life is repetitive, go to class, go back home, work on projects, watch youtube, have dinner... I cannot record during my class so I end up not recording outside the house. On the weekends sometimes I hang out with friends, but whenever I've tried to vlog around them it's so awkward! They don't know what to say and I don't either. Also, this sounds stupid, but my house is not visually aesthetic, the furniture is quite old and I cannot make "aesthetic" vlogs because of that. Another thing that annoys me is I always end up forgetting I'm vlogging my day. I might record the intro but then I go to class and forget to make a few videos of me walking, talking while walking or getting into the metro. Then I go back home and I find myself in my room again where I filmed the intro. Lastly, I put so much effort into those videos and end up having no comments and a few views. It can be frustrating. Ugh, sorry for this long and boring comment. I have a "love-hate" relationship with vlogging hahahaha. I love your channel by the way! :)
