Not all mattresses can be flipped. My sealy posturpedic, kingsdown, and I forgot the brand of my newest mattress. They all can't be flipped because the bottom of the mattress is made flat to lay on surfaces. Maybe pillow top is good word to use.

What they forget to say is you should rotate your box spring 2x a year as well.

Just use a carpet cleaning machine with a hand attachment. Use upholstery cleaner as the solution. Don't spray too much into the mattress. Then, point a fan on high at the mattress for at least 6 hours to dry it.

😠 Rude much, she's sooooo annoying!!! The whole idea of having guests on a talk show is to listen & give them a chance to speak. I guess this woman didn't get the memo!!! I only clicked to see if the baking soda worked but gave up watching as I couldn't put up with her shouting chit chat!!! 👎👎👎

Add some food grade Diatomaceous Earth. It kills bed bugs & mites. I picked up a huge bag of it in the equine section of Tractor Supply for $10. I also sprinkle it around the borders around my house & inside near the base boards. It prevents ants & spiders in the spring! It's safe for pets & kids (I use it on my dog to prevent fleas).

I bought a new mattress and I still have the plastic cover on it and then I put a plastic mattress pad over the top of that so I'm double plastic protected I don't know what else to say about this but I also laundry pretty often so I'm pretty protected with the pet plastic on

I also want to add if you have a sheet cover please make sure you read the tag to make sure there isn't fiber glass under it. You may not be able to reach the matress without getting fiber glass all over your house.

Boy! That was so damn annoying. I felt sorry for the informative guy. I know he regrets even going on that show. I could not believe that she took that baking soda and instantly did that dumb ass application before he was close to ready to applyEven worst was her vacuuming it up. I usually buy just the cheap matress. Not so cheap coz it doesn't last, but not so pricey either coz i need to ditch it. When it is too old I need to ditch it. I prefer the ones that are a bit harder because it won't go down quickly. The soft ones are flattening too much in the middle. My hips is heavier than my body so the matress goes down on that part and my disc is getting push in and I will wake up with lower back ache. So the best is the hard foam that don't go flat.

#1, There is no point in commenting about her lack of listening skills since everyone already has made that obvious observation. lol #2, I never heard of this woman until today, let lone watch shows of this type anyhow. #3, I did try to find out, out of curiosity sake, how long her show lasted with such a lousy host. Could not get a straight answer from the internet. Seems somehow though, it lasted more than 1 season. No idea how. Other than 1 of the jobs of TV shows is to give you something to talk about. Bad or not. And IF she was doing this on purpose just to get ratings, she did a marvelous job of acting a part that nobody appreciates. lol And you all have renewed my faith that there are still people in this world that realize the art of being a good host is to let your guests have the opportunity to respond fully before adding in your next question or comment. :) Glad I am not the only one that knows this skill and practices it.

Ummm, if you still have a mattress that needs to be flipped, then it is at least 15 years old and needs to be thrown away. The flip type of mattresses sank in the middle too often. Get a Tempurpedic and call it a night.

I want to DISINFECT my mattress not DEODORIZE it. To disinfect it is to clean the mattress which is what this video was all about. All a deodorizer does is work the odor, the smell. But it’s not necessarily clean.

I steam clean mine with upholstery cleaner which sucks out the dirt, stains and sweat like a couch. I wish she would shut up for minute.

All matresses come delivered in a strong. clear plastic sheet. Just leave it on. Mine has been on 30 years and still perfect and clean and no body fluid problems.

Even if you flip and switch, the middle of the matress usually goes flatter than the rest. It becomes a problem to my lower backbone disc. I don't think baking soda can kill bugs? hhhm I actually well.. spray the matress with insectide lols. I just let it dry out for a couple of days. It is still best to never remove the plastics when you buy a matress. Yes, it feels weird with plastic especially with thin sheets but atleast nothing penetrates in it. All I have to do is wipe it off with cloth. The sheets is easier to wash when it is thin. I remember my boss, her bed is not getting wash, the maids feels lazy about it because it is very thick sheets, they just keep vacumming it. Good thing she is not allergic to anything. BUt if that is me i will have terrible allergies and hives. Than this nephew of his whenever he visits he keeps complaining about the beds in all rooms, it makes him itchy. I think he also has allergies and dustmites loves people with allergies.

I never take off the plastic so it doesn't ruin and it saves me money from having to buy another one if anything were to happen

Yes she can be annoying, always interrupting the guests. I dont need to hear how much her husband's favorite dish is carbonada. Once Dr Ian was there giving some tips and kept interrupting the guy. I like Dr Ian and like when he is on the show but gosh she interrupts him so much you can tell he was annoyed the looks he gave was so obvious. Once he gave a tip on pting a sock on with garlic in it and she thought it was so stupid she totaly made a fool of him I felt badly for the guy, she had the nerve to throw the sock and say how dumb that tip was .I just watch when he is there and just the end of the show when she cooks something I would like to try. The games and guest interveiw segments are a waste of time she never lets them finish. If she wants a one woman show fine, but let your guests speak.

Rachael can only do a show by herself cause she is a look at me, look at me person who needs the attention focused on her. She will be great at shows that stars only herself. However, when you place the limelight on a different person the constant interruption is rude and extremely annoying... not the way to conduct a talk show. You invite the guest for a reason, it's to hear what they have to say so the shows are dynamic and informative. It will increase your viewership if you allow the guest to talk and the information conveyed can improve the lives of your audience... let the guest talk and stop interrupting. Take a look at some of Johnny Carson's interviews and learn from the master.
