The biggest improvement ive made with ollies is popping harder and then focusing on lifting my back foot more. Those 2 things together gave my ollies a lot more height
I can get a fair heigh, and my form is mostly correct, but I have to do it on grass, because as soon as I try on the flattest concrete I have available the pop with my back foot just slips the board out from underneath me, but if I try to counter that with my weight it slips out the front
Ngl that doesn't make much sense I don't want my board going strait up and then just kicking it why do skaters have messed up shoes cuz the shape it along the board thus can't apply for kickflips otherwise you couldn't do them
you're wrong. Everything said in this video is 100% correct. I would also recommend to jump high, pop out and not down, and lift your back knee and extend front knee while in the air.
