Pyrolyse ermöglicht es dezentral und ernergieautark Plastikmüll zu Kraftsoffen umzusetzen. Im nächsten Jahr wird das Team "WasteEx" eine Anlage für den Globalen Süden bauen. Diese wird Teil der Bekämpfung der Plastikmüll Flut sein.
Hier auf HazelChem werden wir den Bau der Anlage und vieles mehr über das Projekt hochladen, um euch einen Einblick in diese tolle Technologie zu geben.

Respekt!! Wenn man das ganze Gejammer zu Plastik im Meer und sowas sieht wird mir immer ganz schlecht. Wenn man verstanden hat, dass Plastik gleich Öl ist, die Menschen würden aufs Meer rausfahren und Plastik fischen

Excellent. I wonder what percentage of engine oil would stop the product solidifying? I run 3% HDPE with no issues, but my main stock is engine oil

you may have some polystyrene in your product, if it solidifies. you could try boiling the obtained liquid for a prolonged period of time (4 hours should suffice, temp. should be ca. 150°C do not exceed 180°C) this should further facilitate polymerization, after that simply filter the liquid, you now have pure product and a flammable gel like napalm

No, the source has to be cheap or free, like waste motor oil or wood.

You use around 30% of the energy of the feed. In this case this will be the pyrolysis gas and the paraffin fraction. hope this answers your question mfg hazelChem

The main problem was always the cheap Russian oil and gas (at least in Europe). So the pyrolysis fuels just could not comped with that. Kinda ironic if you say it like that now... mfg hazelChem
