Wild camping this week with Meena and David. Can always rely on Loch Drunkie for a great wild camping experience and some rain showers to make it a wonderful sleep. Grub was on form as well, whose was better?

Thanks Atma! We are speaking Scots which has been anglicised due to Scotland being a part of the UK. Even when I visit friends in England, they struggle to understand me. Just as well I don't respond to my messages in Scots. And we are strong as, we carry heavy stuff everywhere! And Lorna doesn't like photographs being taken, never mind videos! There's no food in the woods, it can be scary camping alone, and believe it or not I only have 2 tents!

Naturehike have some really good 2 man tents. I own the cloud peak 2 but I’ve still to use it on a camp. Pitched it once in the garden and it looked big. You did plenty of cooking on this one👍 Looked like another good night under the tarp and it was nice to hear the rain in the morning. See you tomorrow. ATB Gaz.

Aye mate. I am very impressed with these tents. Phenomenal value for money. Gaz n Zoe use the tunnel one that I want and it performed well for them in the rain. But the Mongar.... dream tent, tent of the year, tentastic! I mate. I'll give you a shout when I am leaving. Left my charger in work, so need to head over there first but should still arrive around 12. Could meet you at Abington service station if you are passing it?

My favourite parts are when I see a great place to pitch the tent, like by the lakeside or up on the fells with great views. I also like to see some cooking like a nice steak sizzling away 👍

Can't beat the Autumn colours. Just got a Naturehike CW290 goose down light weight sleeping bag delivered from Amazon today. Really impressed with it. That tent looks great. Nice video. 👍

They do Goose down bags as well? I've seen loads of bloggers use NatureHike tents and they handle all sorts thrown at them brilliantly, so here's hoping the bag does the same trick. When you planning on getting out, mate?

Monty Outdoors: it is the goose down bag @ 290g. I got it for summer use, and as it unzips to a blanket I can fling it over my regular bag to give that extra bit of warmth in the winter. Amazon had a flash sale so I had to get it. I think my next outing going to be a car camp somewhere on the SE coast. I sling in my folding bike, and do a bit of exploring, weather permitting. It's not stopped raining down here this month. Cheers 👍

@@gordonmculloch4904 Just googled it there. Seems handy for extra warmth or sitting in the tent with if trapped by the rain! I've already got a new bag and mat - although it popped multiple times as I slept! I'm camping in SW Scotland and we have heavy rain and gale force winds 😂 Can't wait till this video is up. Monty Outdoors: all along the coast there are some nice places to wild camp. But down here we don't have the same freedoms to camp as in Scotland, so we have to be a bit more careful in choosing a spot to camp. Cooking and camping seems to go hand in hand, so more cooking in your videos would be fine. Make them interesting (like in this video) not the usual big fry ups you see in other videos - not to mention any names 😂 cheers 👍

@@gordonmculloch4904 You been up to Scotland before camping? I was hoping to camp in England this year but the pandemic ruined it. Don't landowners usually not mind for as long as you arrive late and leave early? Ill trying my hardest to get good cooking videos in it. I'm veggie so generally get criticised 😂. I fancy doing a curry from scratch in my videos. Get the banter going when it's happening.
