Wild Camping in Snowdonia National Park: My Adventure with the NEW Terra Nova Laser Compact AS Tent
Join me on my wild camping adventure in the stunning Carneddau area of Snowdonia National Park! I’ll take you on a journey through some of the wildest spots in Snowdonia and show you how to set up your new Terra Nova Laser Compact AS tent. You’ll see breathtaking views of the Welsh countryside and experience the thrill of sleeping under the stars. From hiking through the majestic peaks and tranquil lakes of Tryfan Valley to wild camping on top of the highest mountain range in the UK outside of Scotland, this video will take you on an unforgettable journey through one of Britain’s most picturesque regions.
I stop to admire the views across to the imposing north face of Tryfan before finding a place to pitch my tent. A cool breeze increased throughout the day which was a welcome break from the heat.
The Laser Compact AS has been improved, with stronger materials and more head height - which I found to be noticeably the case.
The sound of the waves lapping the shore provided a calming backdrop to a very memorable day. An evening meal of reindeer stew washed down with mountain stream cooled craft beer, whilst watching the light slowly fade across the valley.
