Paige that little bit of maple syrup bought tears to Jeff's eyes (one would have thought you added a cup of salt), but he falls out of a tree and his reaction is "I'm a little bit sore". You have a battle there, maybe some of the maple cookies that come out of Canada. We could get those here at our Walmart in Florida.
Howdy, Jeff! I sure am glad you survived your swan dive. Ever since I found out I can't stop thinking about the nosedive I took out on the Eastfork, between Hayfork and Wildwood. I should not have lived! I was rock climbing, over balanced and went head first down the rock face. About 10 foot from the boulder covered ground I caught ahold of a small oak growing out of the cliff, flipped over and landed on two feet, as nice as you please. Sometimes I wonder if I really lived, or am I haunting Maine now, far away from my N. Cailf. home?
Cast iron, the best to cook with, dad used to make the perfect breakfast, leftover rice, potatoes, sausage and eggs scrambled into, cooked everything together. One guy had elk sausage, look that stuff was good, he was a professional big game hunter, that man traveled everywhere, he had retired out of the electricians union and brought us stuff. Dad loved his cornbread, burnt black on the bottom ,cornbread and milk, fried egg sandwiches and that horrible stewed fish in a red gravy. He didn't have an education, joined the Army at 17, turned 18 in the Korean War, took correspondence courses, got his trade in plumbing on the G.I.bill, K.P. Fontenot in Ville Platte, Louisiana, dad was so proud of his license.

🌴 ha, that pork sausage never had it so good it took a bath in that gravy and became a part of heaven , now I like my gravy a bit more loose so them biscuits got something soak up, and of course Miss Paige had to sweeten it up a bit oh ya and the maple syrup to , 😏 Jeff was gett’n after them biscuits & gravy so quick I thought his neck brace was gonna pop off !
That looks pretty darn tasty! I love some biscuits and sausage gravy, but I have never had wild hog sausage gravy. I just wish I had not watched this right before I am planning to get some shut eye! I have never seen anyone add syrup to the gravy before I might try that great video!!
Jeff eating again and excited as heck. Lol. Your videos make me hungry but I use my indoor wood stove to cook so it takes way to long. Saves me money on propane though and is somewhat smokey in taste. Take care and enjoy!
Had neck surgery and I had to wear mine 6 weeks. your brace was just like mine. Insurance pade 500 dollers and I paid hundred dollars someone is lining their pockets

I put maple syrup in my sausage when im making patties to freeze, pour some and brown sugar in my oatmeal too even though you can buy oatmeal that way its not the same with real maple syrup. How do they dry syrup up and put it in packs anyway, has to be artificial flavoring
Love me some southern sausage and Good Southern Saw Mill Homemade Gravy but leave the maple syrup for pan cakes not biscuits and sausage gravy. Ewwww 🤢. I wonder how many Canadians have Diabetes ? Well, I don't think your sausage gravy had enough gravy in it. Just my opinion. I like to cook the sausage, remove from skillet, add bacon grease, make the rue, make the gravy, put the sausage back in it. But I grew up in KY and that's just the way it's done.
