I've heard dozens of versions of this song throughout the years and this one is the best version for me. I am not talking about the mastery of performance. This is soulful. This is what music is all about.
If I didn't see the door behind, I would think this is a stage performance. Very smooth rich voice. "Love it. Love it!", as David would say.* A nice bonus for me is seeing the guitar throughout; I am trying to teach myself.
Keep comin back to this. . . such a great , simple / beautiful version,. . . loving also those little added Geetar hooks. The World needs more of this. Nice one Mick San, great work, love this .
I was looking for a "Lesson" on how to play this song. While I did not find a lesson, I was certainly schooled on the song. Bowie would have been proud.
@@marxoulis I did not claim that Bowie wrote the song now did I? It is obviously influenced by the Bowie arrangement. And while we are at it, Johnny Mathis certainly deserves his two "n"s.
So deep ❤️Can’t stop listening. When I see this amazing voice performer in Leeds city centre,I always stop to listen.Got tears in my eyes. His voice going from his heart to my ears 🎶🎶🎶
Sounds really really good! I have been to Leeds and York many times and never heard you. Next time Mick! Well done, particularly like your crooner and rather excellent voice.
This is probably the best version of this song I've ever heard... A watched this video a few months ago, and stumbled upon it again just now. And wow. What an amazing version. So graceful and gentle. The clever things you did with the timing keep the song feeling fresh and surprises the listener with complexity each time they listen to it
