Wilderness Kitchen Revival | Butcher Block Countertop and Rustic Tamarack Cabinets

This fall I have been completing some overdue projects at the cabin. Last video, I revived the fireplace and built a stone hearth. In this video, I am revamping the kitchen and built a butcher block counter top using maple slabs I had stored over the past year. The butcher block counter top sits on top of tamarack cabinets that I built using logs from the property.

Nice build and video. I especially enjoyed the three minute shot at the end that shows what the cabin looks like after you turn out the lights at night. I well remember how dark it gets in Penniac in the winter. Best holiday wishes to you and the family cousin!
