The wilga is one of the coolest STOL planes ever made. Eastern europe and russia has some cool aircraft designs from that part of the world

Might be great for really hot climates but I recommend doors. I think he lost his cap (object coming out). Real nice aircraft and must be a blast to fly too.

Hard to believe Mike Patey's Draco Wilga started life like this one.

I'm a big fan of the PZL 104 Wilga! I have an RC model of one, it takes off and lands in about 3 ft! Shame the pilot lost his sandwiches at 0:31 though. 🤣

Wonder what the stall is on it? That wing must have some very impressive inner structure as it has no struts. Looks stiff too with no flex. Make one heck of a crop spray plane.

Just a question, whys it ugly? I actually like the look of it, if the color were Anvil Grey I think it be beautiful.
