My wife always looks at me weird when I’m watching and asks me that exact question “why are you watching a man shave” 🤣

First, Mrs H's floral arrangements add class and grace to a gentlemanly art. Second, my wife is used to me watching someone shave on RU-vid now. My two teenage kids though still shake their heads.😂 I have a desk job and my boss (who is very cool and in his 50s like myself) thinks I am nuts when I have you, or Ken Surfs, Tobin Fetters, Kevy Shaves, etc... playing at my desk while I work.😂

Thanks for another great shave. I get the same looks and discussion from my wife. My young son is the one who got me into safety razors so he kind of understands my obsession with a great shave. My daughter thinks I’m bonkers. Oh well, thank your wife for the flowers and y’all have a great day.

I watch quite a number of your videos but generally don’t comment. However, I always enjoy seeing Mrs. H’s handiwork at the beginning of your videos.

It must be Wednesday...that means flowers and a shave. I've added a reminder to use my Wilkinson Sword Black Classic. I think my Simpson T2 brush must be similar to that Pearl brush. The T2 has a soft tip but I can feel the bristles when I make the brush splay while lathering. BTW, I discovered your channel when I got back into wet shaving. At first I watched to learn about shaving. But now I watch because I enjoy your waffling and reminiscences. You've become a friend I've never met. Until the Hot&Spicy...cheers!

Good morning Paul! Great shave Paul and gorgeous flower display from Lowri thanks! In my opinion the Black Wilkinson with a Feather is a awesome razor and I have steel wired beard hairs! This Razor you can here in Croatia buy everywhere for 5€ with 10 blades. I have my from 1989 but long time they stand in the Cabinet unused. One uncle from me he shaves only with them. And price-adjusted, one of the best safety razors! Mild, as you say, but efficient enough. And believe me, Paul, I have a beard that I wouldn't wish on anyone and then I have sensitive skin! My shave of the day: RazoRock Game Changer .76P safety razor, Tiger Platinum DE Blade (2nd use), Muhle Stylo Thuja Wood shaving brush with a Silvertip Badger knot, Atlantis shave soap by Elysian, 3 passes and a few pick-ups, Thayers Unscented witch hazel, Barberwood After Shave splash by HAGS, Finished it off with Sauvage After shave balm by Dior.

What not to love in your videos Paul!!! I said it hundred times you are showcasing products that many shavers would despise. Like the Wilkinson sword classic, my first safety razor I've purchased back in 2000. When I go back to Greece I'm gonna make a second attempt to find it. I bought another one in a Pharmacy in Southampton were I live and it's my travel razor. As I shave every day I agree with you that it's not suitable for many days growth or with coarser beards. Found derby blade best match with this razor, for every day. I recently bought the flip top WS razor, a chap had 4 pieces on eBay, bought one lucky I found it. Love the humor, great comments. I have been trying get my brothers into this better way of shaving. They ask about why but have really liked you Paul. Makes the week go better, I hope you have an event one day with people speaking and joining together. Maybe combine with a car show or summer event. Lots of nice barbque events or music here in east Tennessee this time of year.

Hey Paul! Great vintage additions to your shave den! I love new old stock items from yesteryear! I recently purchased 2, yes 2!, new old stock Gillette Toggle Adjustable razors!! Both came with original case, unopened blade dispenser, instructions, and even the original price tag!! They are in mint condition!! I had to fork up a few dollars for them, but well worth it! To get 2 pieces of Gillette history is iconic for me! New Old Stock vintage Gillettes are becoming more difficult to acquire! I am so happy I stumbled across both! Thanks as always for your videos!! As I mentioned recently, I bought an Edwin Jagger de81L, id like to see it compared to a cheap £13 Bambaw that I'm used to just to see which is better. I haven't used the Jagger yet but I prefer the Bambaw so far because there's no overhang and the bamboo handle is longer and chunkier with more grip. I'd like your input.

I hade bought that gillette aftershave before at Walgreens and meny ppl had said that it smells like old man! same with brut aftershave! but u know what aftershave smell really good adidas Dynamic pulse! and the other scenes they have r really good

I personally have course whiskers, and I seem to not do very well with mild razors. I tell you a razor I absolutely love that is adjustable, is my Blackland Osprey razor. I was wondering why you hadn't gotten it yet, then I realized that if you did, Mrs. H would put you in your grave for spending 350 dollars on a razor lol.

You do know that advertising a three pass shave advertises an inferior shave! A shave that advertises skin irritation and ingrown hair! Do correct me if im wrong. A close shave should indicate facial hair being shaved to the level of the skin and not below it . You'd agree with that wouldn't you ?
