Should do 5th gen rams with level kit and see if you can fit 35s
@toddbrackett4277
@toddbrackett4277 3 месяца назад
You don’t need a level, a lift or aftermarket rims to run 35s on an F-150. The rubbing problems are usually a function of added width rather than circumference coupled with modified wider rims/rims with non-standard offset/backspacing. I run a set of Kenda Klever R/T in a 35x10.5r17s on the stock rims with no lift and I have no issues.

That's Odd. How about using the Stock Wheels? I have a 2.5" Leveled 2020 F150 running Nitto Ridge Grappler's 35x12.5x20 on Stock Wheels with no rubbing at all. I think the offset is what your problem is. Why are you determined to use a ZERO Offset for your video? There are many other options out there that WILL FIT. I think Stock Ford 20" Sport Wheels are a +44 offset. I think your video is a bit misleading for people who don't understand what offset is. (Your You-Tube question is, Will 35's fit on a 2021 F150 with 2.5" level Kit?) The real answer is YES but, you have to use the right offset.

Because everyone knows 35’s fit with stock offset wheels. It’s been done on every levelled truck for the last 10+ years. Plus a 0 offset looks 50x better than having the wheels sucked into the fenders.

@@ericferguson4114 no it hasn’t 😂 I had to trim the living piss out of my 2” level 2013 and 35’s. And I had to cut crash bars on 2018 with a 2” level. I used to be that guy, I was all about 20x12’s 33’s and a 2.5” level but the more I go off-road and use my truck the way it was intended, I love 35’s on stock wheels more and more. To each their own.

@Ray S- because we like to speak in absolutes. We didn't have access to 35x12.5"s (the most popular size we sell) on a stock wheel/offset so therefore we couldn't test them, nor could we speculate on them fitting without testing. Far too often in the truck world there is too much speculation on what *might* fit based off of what some dude said on a forum as opposed to showing something in black and white. So we took the most popular fitment range we sell and gave it a try- and it didn't work. But now our customers know! Will we try this tire on a stock offset to appease the stock wheel crowd? Possibly- but we addressed the most popular setup first based on our data and as an aftermarket site, we feel comfortable starting there. Thanks for watching. -Justin

@@americantrucks No need to defend yourself. I do like the vids just, sometimes misleading like the question you asked on You-Tube (Will 35's fit on a 2021 F150 with 2.5" level Kit)? Yes they will just not with a 0 Offset. No, Zero Offset does not look better IMO. It makes the tires stick out way too far and throws rocks at following cars and along the side of your truck. Tucked in gives a much better finished look but, appearances are subjective. There are more stock wheel people than you think. As I get older, I find throwing my money at something I don't need to be less appealing. Ive been down that road. Thanks for the reply and keep up the good work

Good stuff. Am hoping you can answer a few question for me. I'm new to all these but thanks to RU-vid am learning a lot. I am going back and forth between getting a full size suv like a gmc yukon at4 or denali, or an f150 platinum or raptor, leaning to the f150's. I'd like to level the f150 or lift the suv, say 2-3"s, and add bigger tires. Love the 35's, at least on the f150's, though the 37's on the raptor if i go that route would be awesome. In any case, I see f150's leveled with 2", 2.5" and 3", so which actually levels an f150, and if it's the 2", and you do a 3" level, does that mean you add a 1" lift in the rear, or are you left with it dancing around level but not being exactly level depending on which number of inches you get? And two, the yukons and tahoes and escalades have adjustable air suspension and magna ride. How will a lift on such an suv affect those, affect the air ride? If normal minimal road clearance is 8", and in 4H you can go to 9" and 4L to 10", if you add a 2" lift, does that also raise the air ride, so that normal road clearance becomes 10", 4H can go to 11" and 4L to 12", or if not, does the lift screw up the effectiveness of the air ride? Or is there something to be done to raise the air ride also, and does that cause problems? Thanks. I'm not sure who to ask or where to go to learn about this air ride question.

I did a 2 inch and 33's with negative 12 offset. Didn't seem to rub , then I found a killer pothole that threw the front end off. Had it aligned 3 times and it rubs the front and rear crash bars. Any ideas before I trim the crash bars?

Curious about 34x10.5 BFG all terrain KO2's on stock rims with a 2" lift. They measure out at 33.5". Do you think they would fit with no rubbing?

I have a Roush Fox 2.0 coil over setup on my 2019. Run Coopers new Hybrid tire (Rugged Trek). 34.6x11.5r20 with stock Wheels. I’ve wheeled it, and doesn’t rub. SuperCrew/3.55 gears/4x4/Electronic Locking Diff/ Max Tow/ 3.5 Ecoboost. Crash bars in tact. I know it doesn’t rub, because I have used Fluid Film twice a year since it had 3 miles on it, and there is no rub marks on any crash bar, front or back. The K02s run small to size, and would fit. You could probably run 35x12r20 K02s and wouldn’t rub.

@@zonacrs Yes, I love those Reg Cab, Short Bed 5.0 Trucks! All I owned for years was Reg Cab (Short/Long Beds)! Had a few kids, need something bigger now. Would love to have one again one day, supercharge it too! Lol! I had an 85 K10 with a six inch lift, 383 stroker, and a 4 Speed! It was a lot of fun! Your truck would look great with the lift and 34s! Check out the Roush Fox 2.0 system for your truck. I am so happy I went with the coil overs instead of pucks on my Ford.

@@bigf1502 Yep, deciding between the Fox 2.0 system and Bilstein 6112 fronts and 5160 rears. I got the tow package combined with the snow plow prep and 360 camera system. Payload is pushing 1,800 pounds. Not bad for a 122" wheelbase truck. Sure is nice to sling around town and trails. My four door Tundra was huge by comparison and the back seat was a grocery and sh*t catcher most of the time. EDIT to change the front to 6112's.

From the looks of your above video it barely touches the plastic which you could trim with a pair of scissors.. can't really see the rear crash bar but it looks like a pretty easy fit? By the way what size are those rims are those 18in and 20in or what? And are they 9 wide or 10 wide? Great video by the way thanks. My main concern was hitting the spring perch on the strut on the inner. So I am assuming the 35 1250 with a 0 offset does not hit the spring perch on the strut?

Well I haven’t tried it yet, but the 12.50 width seems like it would definitely rub on the upper control arm, the stock 10.8 wides only leave a fat finger of room. 11.50 seems like the max, MAYBE 295/65r20 (11.8 wide)
