wow they still play politics with the health service instead of simply funding the NHS and paying the doctors they pay they deserve. They even said they dont want the pay to happen in one go but rather in stepwise all they are asking is for their pay to be restored. But British Gov likes to keep playing politics with words.

All the government had to do was treat its employees fairly, they chose not to over many years and this is the result.

The more people salaries go up... the more the cost-of-living will go up. Everyone stop being so greedy starting at the top of the food chain .

I would gladly pay more into the NHS but a 35٪ increase in wages is a tad too far, isnt it. Lets get real over this. Its almost as if these employees are above any other public sector area.

It's hard not to see BMA as an outlier. The disparity between the public sector salaries and cost of living is a worrying one. But trends are reversed over time - not overnight. A 35% increase is completely unrealistic and just won't happen. At this point, the union is preventing it's members from receiving a reasonable salary increase.
