Hi friends!

Was so confused to see these as well! The duos feel “off” to me - I tried mauve glace from winter glow les beige and it looks like I got punched in the face, so definitely a non merci pour moi! I was intrigued by the stylos, specifically the green if it was the Jade Facette color, but it looks “off” like a totally different vibe! Definitely feels like the right hand is not talking to the left 😅😅

I think I will give these a try. I like the plum blush set and the eye shadows. I will probably pass on the Baume Essential as I have enough glowy products.

Another content creator said that Chanel is revisiting their best selling products. That being said, I will pick up the Dual powder berry blush and maybe the lilac shimmer pencil. I may pick up the Dior with the pink and violet, but I have a Dior blush in that lilac color so not 100% sure. It doesn’t bother me that it doesn’t contain a brush b/c I never use them. I have two of the Kosas blushes and LOVE them.💄

💄 Hi Allison! Thank you for this “will I buy” roundup. I am most looking forward to seeing in person: Dior’s new single eyeshadows and eye pencils; Dior’s upcoming blush/highlighter duos, and; the entire Chanel summer collection. I definitely want Dior’s eye pencil in Lilac and Chanel’s eye pencils in all the aqua and blue-purple shades, the green is a maybe as I have the Freck eye pencil in green and it’s fabulous!

💄 I love these videos, they help me keep up with upcoming releases. I agree that Chanel seems clueless, and to add to that dare I say uninspired. I love Chanel but maybe with the exception of the recent Les beige powder, I haven’t been excited by anything that has come out this year so far. I’m hoping that whatever they have for fall /winter/holiday this year is a comeback for them.

Looks like there are no brushes in this Diir due highlighter and blush packaging. If you might remember the latest blushes with Clare packaging did not have brushes. And I always ask why? It would be so comfortable for travel and application on a go! I also like that second on the top with a coral blush and this is the case when I don’t need it but most definitely will buy it! The Dior lilac highlighter, pinky cheek looks fascinating, Chanel plum, pink too ... yum! I had a Kosas bronzer a few years ago and it was superb -- great quality. More cheeks? likely yes but prefer after an Ali review!

Dior products look amazing. The Kosas blushes look beautiful but do remind me of Laura Geller blushes (which are lovely). I would pick up a few of them to add to my ever-growing blush collection! Thanks for another great video!

Good morning. The Chanel berry blush is a yes for me but everything else is a pass and same with the Dior blushes…the bottom right on the Dior promo reminds me of a Chantecaille blush duo from some years back. Have a great day! 💄

Chanel always bring out a high summer collection. They have done this for years as well as Summer Les Beiges. The only thing they did this year was, bring out a winter Les Beiges collection and reformulated the single eyeshadow, which has nothing to do with summer LE releases. I love the purple duo blush and the purple stylo.

I always appreciate your perspective on new releases. I do much less impulse buying thanks to you. But we have a difference of opinion about the apparent missing little brushes in the Dior blushes. Since I usually throw them away, I like a case that doesn't have that wasted space and looks clean and simple.

Hi Alli! 🤭 I know Chanel comes out with a lot of makeup in general now, but Angela (I believe you two are friends) did say it was there 100 year anniversary, or something like that, for beauty. She states there would be ALOT of releases this year! I was prepared for the overwhelm. I’m passing on most of these, but I LOVED my Pritemps blush! I finished all of it just about…so I’m really excited to see it come back, though the shades aren’t exact. Beautiful look per usual love💗

Hi Ally, U look stunning with the jade eye shadow. I’m looking forward to the Lisa Eldridge lip balms. The oils in them look jusy. Lisa uses great oils and ingredients in her lip products. Once her glosses have dissipated u’re left with lips that are so moisturized. OMG! What is going on with Chanel? It’s like no thought was put in regarding the upcoming collection. Happy Friday Alli! I’ve been on the lookout for a warm red toned blusher so I’m intrigued so see if the new Chanel blush could be what I’m after. I weighed up the recent Chanel healthy glow bronzer palette and decided not to purchase as it didn’t tick enough boxes in the end so with a few pennies saved on that, it’s a Oui Merci to the whole new Chanel collection 💚 Non Merci to Kosas for me anyway, brands that can’t be bothered to include a mirror in their lids don’t get my cash I’m afraid! On a more positive note so excited for Chanel goodies though ❤

I think the new Chanel blushes are pretty, i like the highlight side of the purple blush alot and i like the blush side of the warm one but not the highlight shade unless it looks different in person 😂 i think i might get the purple one and hope for the best im not really a purple blush person but im intrigued and maybe a Dior duo but im not sure which one yet maybe the bronzer one or the 2 nd one top row.

Good morning ☀️ from SoCal. I actually am excited for the new Chanel release. Particularly that light berry blush and that pink highlight. Also would like to pick up two of the stylos and maybe one or both of those baumes. It all looks very ethereal to me. I might pick up that Dior lilac/ pink blush but I have all of the past pink lilac blush iterations from Dior so we’ll see. I’m more excited for the Bobbi Brown collection coming in July. 💜 lots of newness ahead. 💄💄💄💄 💄

I like neither Dior or Chanel duos 😅I'm curious how the formula is BUT the colours I like are not unique. The interesting cool toned ones I realistically won't use much because they are harder to make work and I already own similar shades I hardly use😂😊 to be honest... I'm rarely excited about summer releases. My "high time" for make up is Christmas/holiday, Lunar New Year and Valentine's releases... Maybe early spring releases when they're really special 😊 I learned all of my fav products are special releases for those holidays 🤷and my disappointments are all the other things I bought only because I just never like them as much.

Hi Allison, You said that every brand releases lip balms which is true but I think we have trillions of blushes as well. Regarding these new releases I don’t like the look of the new Dior blushes and the colours from the Chanel ones are not for me. I have enough blushes I actually love from Sisley, Hermes, Gucci and one from Armani. So because I don’t need more it has to be a stunning colour and a high quality formula (and definitely not 6 months lifespan) to make me buying. Lisa Eldridge is not available in Australia and If I need a lip balm or lipstick I have plenty of choices in stores here. I like lip balms more than lipsticks so I might try the new ones from YSL. So far my favourite lip balms are from Guerlain and Sisley. Kosas and Pat McGrath are 2 brands I don’t have anything from them and no intention to buy no matter what they release. In conclusion it’s a no merci for me unless the new lip balms from YSL are impressive. Thanks for sharing!🙂

The Baumé essentiel multi-use glow stick the darker color reminded me a lot to Golden color was released maybe couple years ago looks exactly the same color as in the pic that’s a No for me the blushes maybe I pick the berry one but I have so many that tbh I don’t need another one I am going to wait for your review if you get the pick one or something from the chanel collection

Until such time that Chanel stops with the "clean" beauty formulations and brings back preservatives in their cosmetics, I won't be buying any of their face products like blushers and bronzers. I bought the plum/mauve CC embossed blusher last year and it went off after a month. It smelled absolutely awful (reminding me of a Kosas bronzer that had also gone off). Such a waste of money. So, this will be a non-merci for me. I'm not wowed by the eye crayons either and when you have one Baume Essentiel you have them all! So I think this will be a pass for me.

Thank you for your video. Personally I feel like certain brands are just releasing products for the sake of it! Like you Ali I'm disappointed with Chanel summer collection, don't get me wrong I like the brand but they are pricey and I have a mortgage to pay too!! 🫣😂.
