Dan and Chelle are finally finishing up their front porch area with a new porch swing bed! The built a beautiful pergola soon after moving into their home, followed up by an incredible flagstone patio just a couple weeks ago! But that area wasn't complete without a nice, big, comfortable swing bed hung underneath that pergola! Follow along and Dan and Chelle enlist the help of Chelle's parents to get this thing assembled and hung!

I need to order some rope right now and I’ll be using 4 anchors so I’ll need 4 pieces of rope. I was hoping you could help me out. How many feet of rope did it take to tie that not? You have 4 separate ropes, how long were each of them? I was going to order 4 pieces of rope at 20 ft each. Should that do the job? This specific rope is pretty expensive so if I can get by with 18 ft that saves me like $25. Thoughts? Great swing, great video. Thanks so much.

That looks really comfy. And I will assume during rains it doesn't get wet. Nothing like swinging to calm you down and make you sleepy. Now you need some torches so you can enjoy it more at night. I don't think I've ever saw one so big and deep and well made looking. I would trade out those plastic pieces on top with metal ones, plastic tends to crack when it gets old. Love it. We missed your vlogs.

Do you like the small white lights? I think they would be awesome at night up in the pergola. We have some up in out hot tub gazebo that are operated with a remote control. Love them! The swing patio area is so cool. Michelle, love all the pillows! The cool thing about pillows is you can add in one or two seasonal ones if you wish. I do that for my sofa.

I've MISSED y'all! So glad to see your awesome swing. My grandma had one on her porch (an old southern house with the wrap around porch and rocking chairs) and when we (the grandkids) were all visiting at once, the parents had to referee so the girls got a turn or the stinking boys would be bullies! I love those memories!
