had one of these for years ,,what a great car ,, but no match for the MGB I had later on in life in the late 60s .. my TR 2 had 2.2 pistons ,sah camshaft etc etc was a 120mph car
45 years ago, I literally snapped the master cylinder plunger in two on a '62 TR4 when the peddle went rock hard and I kept pushing. It hadn't occurred to me that the rubber in the hose had deteriorated and plugged the movement of fluid. I've been waiting my whole life to give that tip to a kid, but I'm glad you're smarter than I was!
We hadn't ever seen a clutch hose get plugged like that before, thankfully, Jesse thought to check it before we messed with it too much! We also got lucky that our TR4 came with a spare hose and that they are the same part.
Are you guys going to be selling this ., My Dad had one of these and I spent alot of time cruising around with him as a kid. Great memories would love to fin a good one .
