If you use Shop rags in the box Or in the equivalent brand You can just dispose of your dirty shop rags and not have a fire hazard in your shop or house.
Won't that still create the potential hazard with oil heating up and causing the auto ignition? I always thought it was the oil that was hot, causing a hazard.
@walterfrancis7962 I'm working on getting some shop lights added to my garage to bring in some better lighting! And it's hard filming this and not having it be 6 hours long, lol. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it!
Not a bad looking Husqvarna made craftsman garden tractor hopefully you can get ethanol free gas where you live hopefully the transmission is not a plastic one the easier Way to remove a stuck wheel off is use a harmonic puller
If it’s making a noise shut it down before you damage more items and cost more to repair Yet people still run it tell it stops and cry about the price to fix it
so when did they change that you where suppose to use 30 weight non detergent oil in mowers . I see a lot of ppl use multi viscosity HD oil sry i am old and dont keep up good on the changes. lol
They usually recommend small engine oil that's specifically formulated for air cooled engines but I never had an issue using mobile 1 10w30. I think the small engine oil last longer because of the higher heat these air cooled engines get up to.
Hey buddy, please don't take my comment negatively, but let your dog out of the garage soon. The reverberating noise of the engine will soon kill him from stress. Dogs hear 7x louder than humans
Thanks for that information! I'll make sure copper stays out of the garage when engines are going to be operated! I'd feel horrible if something happened to him.
To clear up any misconception for anyone in the market for a garden tractor this isn't a garden tractor. It's considered a lawn tractor. The deciding factor will be the transmission. A lawn tractor will work great on relatively flat land for mowing and pulling a small trailer while a garden tractor will be able to climb hills pull heavy loads and use ground engagement equipment. You can ask more out of a lawn tractor if you are diligent in changing the transmission fluid which in most cases involves removing the transmission to drain the fluid as they are designed to be none serviceable. It's really a shame because the cost for the manufacturer to install a HD transmission is relatively low. But they don't so consumers purchase the lower priced tractor that will likely have transmission failure resulting in then purchasing another tractor in the future.
