My first dozer I ever bought was a D9g, 66a9560. Man did that machine move dirt, too bad it broke down often and at the time it was just too expensive for me to operate. Now, 16yrs later, I'm looking at buying it back just a yard machine.
That started up fast as a new car kind of amazing You must have gone through Tested the starter primed it I'm guessing you did all that before but it sure did start up fast faster in my new truck She's a nice old cat
Buddy has two of these with blades here in Kansas City. Make offer but don't forget- you gotta figure out the logistics of getting them to your place. (Lol - you COULD JUST DRIVE THEM !)(It's not you need roads or anything - just make your own !)
This dozer worth repair just get used blade semi u or c frame and this dozer will pay himself.i run this thing western canada tough machine.good luck and thank you video😊
Is your shop near the McClymonds yard at US 422 & I 79? I watched several of your videos and noticed several McClymonds trucks. I'm only about 15 minutes from the yard.
Next time you start a d9g when it starts step on both steering breaks and slip it in gear for a split second intill you feel the breaks push back aginst your feet an old mechanic named Herold Parker taught me that
It just amazes me that people park this stuff and forget they have it. It's worth a few coins. Way more than salvage. Why let it rot out in the weeds??
I subscribed to this channel because I thought there would be a lot of videos about repairs and restoration, etc. but none of this, so I unsubscribe and recommend it to the other subscribers.
Have had a lot going on at work for the past few months and haven't had much free time to get into the builds just yet but should be in the next couple weeks. Just putting out videos of something rather than nothing. Thanks.
