@@Rosa_101 are you dumb... to tuck on a ship you have to emote... THEREFORE AIMING DOWN AND LOOKING AROUND WILL NOT WORK ON SOMEONE TUCKING ON YOUR SHIP...btw i stopped playing this game like a few days after that comment i had to watch the vid again lmao cause i forgot why i commented

It's an accessibility setting. It's specifically designed not to work when the nameplate is hidden or on players using emotes. It won't improve the aim of someone that can see with normal eyes. It may help someone who is sight impaired hit their shots a little better in PVE. That's the entire purpose.

i know, but other people were concerned about the PvP aspect of it and didn’t know it wouldn’t work without the nameplate. so i wanted to share evidence against it giving someone an advantage in PvP

I tried this feature and it has minor advantages 1. When you are reloading your pistol and holding aim button it can instantly tell you that you are already aiming in correctly at the target even tho you are still reloading so you can instantly shoot the pistol (tho obviously most people who use pistol are already preficient enough with it to do that without this feature). 2. Pretty sure if you aim it at a direction where i player is but you can't really see them (they are obscured by water or bushes) you can still hear the sound.

i think the big thing this will change is that now you can have a clunky parrot pistol or something worse and still be able to actually use it in combat, while having minimal if no effect on something like a kraken or silver blade pistol that has dead on aim already

Very well spoken, tested the feature this morning during a 5 stack fotd during which we were attacked 6 separate times. I really couldn’t feel an insane difference but was conscious of its effects, overall a touch helpful for half decent players and I’d imagine it to be greatly needed for those it’s intended for

i have both 100 lvl in pvp and i am very good at cannons but i know the real problem in this game are aim cheats. I see it by many streamers they hit threw waves and flying in mid air and you get hit and you see how the crosshair is perfect following the enemy or with a little delay it's so obvious that i can only laugh and Sea of thieves don´t care XD.

Tucking and pvp should not be compared. All the cries of being found tucking on a ship ahaha... Also, Players are worried about "This" tiny thing...hahaha...oh you poor fools.

tucking and pvp should be compared a little, since pvp does not mean killing others, and when you steal loot, it is still still a form of pvp... and it can still devolve quickly into combat that said, if a tuck goes off right, it absolutely should not be compared to combat

@@burnbaconxbl pvp only means player vs player, not combat, so anything you do that is against another player counts as pvp... even a racing game is pvp, even though you are just driving your car its all a matter of perspective on what you are doing
