GOOOOOOOD MAAAAAAAAWNIN EVERYONE!!…Steve, congratulations!! Wicked awesome that your electrical has passed & you can now move forward. Looking forward to watching. Thanks for sharing Have a day
Congratulations on passing the inspection you did a nice neat job on the wiring it's good have a friend for advice on electrical issues and a smart dad👍🏻
In my region rough electrical inspections will often fail if the wire nut connections are not wire twisted together under the wire nut first with lineman pliers and then the wire nuts twisted-on attached. A wire nut is really considered a "cap" insulator and not a "splice" connector even though they're called "connectors" Electrical currents passing through and relying on just expecting the wire nut to effectively flow the current and not expecting it to short over time, vibrations from tools or usage, or sometimes struggle and heat up inside a box, a knowledgable electrician or inspector looks for twisted wires under twisted-on wire nuts. Maybe it's overkill but electrical currents flowing through just a loose wire nut connection that gets moved about and stuffed in and under switches and outlets at final install is a consideration some electricians and electrical inspectors will often find unacceptable in commercial and residential wiring. We strip back enough insulation, twist the exposed copper wires together with lineman pliers first, then cap-off tighten twist connectors making for a secure current flow and no possibility of shorts.
Congratulations on the passed inspection maybe you missed your calling( ha, ha,) it’s nice to have electricians you can call on for tips and solutions.😊
