I really like his original designs. You get foreshadowing of his transformation, and then the edge shots of the creepy eye mutation. Then you encounter him for the first time, and can tell his transformation from human to... whatever that thing was at the very end, interleaved between the A and B stories.
What I liked was in this version you sort of get to see "in-between" phases where he's not fully transformed into the next stage. In the remake he just sort of "pops" into the next form more unnaturally.
@@edward18517 It's the subtle details that really do make a difference. One that stands out to me, mostly because I can't understand why they changed it: in the original, his mutations are initially relegated to the same side that he gets shot in. Biologically that makes perfect sense as that's where his cellular activity would be in overdrive trying to heal from the bullet wounds. No idea why the remake altered it.
3:40 *Torso of the man who was threatening your life five seconds ago bursts up from the ground, presumably thrown.* ”A ladder leads down. Will you go down?” (Yes)
Well in resident evil 2 early build of the game, William saying sherry name... So i think they want to include some of the missing staff in the remake...
The originals always feel more unsettling to me than the remakes. The only exception pretty much was the remake of 1 for me since that's more faithful to its original version and makes everything in that one scarier.
I disagree about that. I found it more scary to hear trying to stay in control instead of the G-Virus controlling William. And the fact that he was calling Sherry in such a horrible way just reveals how struggling he is to not let the G-Virus use him to implant his own daughter with a G-embryo...
William g1 can be fought in scenario B only wither leon or claire. William G2 can be fought 1 time by claire scenario A or fought two times by leon scenario A. William g3 fought two times scenario B and scenario A whether claire or leon. William g4 fought in scenario A only by claire or leon. William g5 fough in scenario B only by claire or leon.
5:54 between the 3 boss fights with William. this one had the best song in my opinion. It fits the tention of you finally coming face to face with the monster whos been roaring in the distance the whole time.
So you showed us both his fights in his G1 status, great! Than we skipped to a G3 fight w Leon, than same location we get to see Claire fight G2. I’m just saying maybe we coulda seen g2 b4 skipping ahead to g3, u know, logical order? Just saying , thanks 1, than 2, than 3, than 4, after that is 5.
Yeah, basically original lore is William ate all the G-Virus samples (guess, to him, that was the only way he felt no one else could get their hands on them?), and smashed several of the T-Virus samples (which he also had in the case) under his feet, which is how the Raccoon City outbreak got started after the rats licked up the spilled virus fluids.
That's not even remotely true lol. The old RE games all had janky controls and the voice acting sounds like it's narrated by text to speech. Not to mention, the graphics are vastly inferior if that couldn't be anymore obvious and the games only had fixed camera angles due to the limited hardware. There was far more effort put into the remakes than almost 25 year old games by revisting a lot of it's original ideas as well as perfectly capture what made the older games special.
RE2 remake is good but RE3 altho fun is pretty much a shit remake well its not really a remake many things are missing such as street levels, graveyard, park , clocktower. Original RE3 is better and the lords of necropolis mod is better than original
