My friend was an intern with a TV station for a royal visit to US ..they go from early am til night .she said all the reporters were dead tired and they were all young...also looking perfect..all day ..they almost never cancel ..so jet lag or not feeling well they just do it with a smile

As an RN for almost 46 years my opinion is that perhaps gorgeous Catherine suffered from Crohn’s disease. Some RNs I worked with had it and ended up with major abdominal surgeries. Some have ostomies. Then the cancer diagnosis blew everyone’s mind. What a wonderful kind smart talented woman she is. She was always athletic. She is still doing Chemo and that is brutal. Major abdominal surgery is awful. I’m sure she does have good and bad days. Blessings to her and her family.

I remember Charles Spencer's behavior regarding his sister. Lady C is absolutely correct. When Diana wrote to him and asked if she could stay at the family home for awhile, to escape all the drama (she had created) in London, he categorically told her no, he didn't want the drama there. I also remember that he had basically driven his first wife, whom I think was South African, into an "institution", as a direct consequence of his behavior. Finally when he stood in front of God and the world at her funeral, and blamed the Royal Family for everything that had happened to Diana, I thought his hypocrisy was complete. But no, 30 years later he continues. His hypocrisy and narcissistic behaviour knows no bounds. Truly a disgusting person.

I hope no one ever judges me on childhood antics and behavior ? But my family said I was very good and behaved like a lady , compared to my brother and cousins. I think the Wales children are EXTRAORDINARY! Theyre smart, interesting and well behaved !! I was overcome at how they behaved at Queens funeral, as little adults. I remember a few years ago when Prince George attended his first Wimbledon with his Dad and Mum. Prince William and Prince George were in Wimbledon attire of suit jackets and ties and it was Hot! Prince George asked a very intelligent question about why they had to wear suit jackets in such heat? He was given the explanation and accepted it. Notice, he did not rip his jacket and tie off. With that question, I could tell that here was a young boy with a bright, questioning mind. George was not rebellious or disobedient. He was respectful of the tradition. I saw this as a good thing. But I couldn't help but think that maybe when he is King, some traditions will be changed just like KC is making some changes now. I am just hearing about this article now and don't know too much about it. But, I believe it is so wrong and hurtful to be so critical of a child. Leave him be to grow up. He has two very competent and loving parents and an extended family who all love him. He's going to be just fine.

Instead of being there for his sons, Charles was more concerned with gaining the citizen's of the U.K. favorable opinion of his mistress, who he has since made Queen consort. If he had been aware of what Hazbeen was up to, maybe he could have either gotten him real help or stopped his behaviors all together. So, the blame lays at his feet also. He was one who had custody during the turbulent teen years and afterwards. Hazbeen needs real psychiatrists to help him deal with guilt, anger and lack of maturity. my opinion and truth.

Perhaps he has some weaknesses in his character, hard to know when you don’t know him personally. I do know from interviews from him and other family members, Diana was not an easy person to have in the family either. At one point she wasn’t speaking to him, other times she stopped speaking to her sister, her mother, her step mother (as an adult she pushed her downstairs) Fergie and that’s only the ones that were spoken of. How many others were there? I liked what I knew of Diana and her charitable causes but I don’t think all the fault should be put on one person.

That vile bow alone sums up the pair of them. Harry looked embarrassed but did nothing to stop it being aired. Our late Queen was so highly respected world wide as could be seen from the outpouring of grief and the never ending queue of people to pay their respects. And Harry and his Mrs mocked her in front of the world, she did the act and Harry didn’t have the power or guts to stop it going public. Our Queen had dedication to duty, dignity and decorum in bucket loads and her grandson failed to learn anything from her. Instead he has allowed himself to be caught up with an unknown actress with a dwindling career who then went on to disown her family except her mother and then did the same with Harry’s family and friends and he couldn’t or wouldn’t see it and has been entirely blind. What a waste.

Lady C The rumors that King Charles has pancreatic CA, and has two years to live are utterly ridiculous. As a nurse with 37 years experience, mortality quite frankly from that particular type of CA is quicker because it is usually not found till later stages. Further the chemo for that is brutal to be honest, and Charles would not look like he does after several months of chemo. Look at the patient, he actually looks very well, as does Catherine considering. Foolish people who know nothing of what they speak.

Even the most experienced helicopter pilot knows that, unlike a winged aircraft which can glide to landing if the engines fail, a helicopter will simply fall like a stone from the sky, and the pilot, however skilled, will be unable to do anything about it. A helicopter crash is basically un survivable. I think that Catherine, as the mother of the Wales children, should demand that the family travel separately. Please remember that William can chanfe his mind about about the number of working royals and royalty in general. I am 71, and i can assure you of that. Perhaps it was done as a reaction to Harry and Meghan and their physical presence on formal occassions. Perhaps he is putting more value to having his cousins around him to support him. Watching Ascot i saw more closeness amongst the cousins than ever. Perhaps in that sense cancer has thrown those members of the family closer. If Harry watched it probably sadden him to see and realuze that they neither miss him or need him. He would be the fly in the ointment.

William has the right balance. They're Royal family but not working Royals ..but they do profit from the Royal connections so they are happy to front up for garden party's and racing...etc..it helps their brands and profiles too. The Tindalls dont wish to be working Royals...We dont want the Yorkies as working Royals they are both desperate to be....Or else they'd want Royal Lodge for their manor and god knows what else.

Loyalty is hard to come by these days. Shows that even within a family, it's hard to know who you can trust. It's hard to blame the King or Prince William who is experiencing such betrayal.

At the Sandringham Summit, in 2020, HMTQ gave Harry and his wife one year to decide if they wanted to stay living in the U.S. and pursue a life independent of the RF. Why are we still having conversations about the possibility of Harry returning as a working Royal? It would have been ideal if QEII had formally announced their decision to remain independent and initiated the removal of Harry and his children from the line of succession. Hopefully, once William becomes King, he will clean up this mess swiftly and efficiently.

Yes, that quote “pride goes before the fall” makes me shiver in this instance. There are plenty of helicopter videos that are piloted by very competent pilots, that have a problem and lose control.

Lady C - while PW is a good helicopter pilot , however a crash or malfunction would take out the entire Wales family. PW needs to follow this one protocol do it for his country. The heartbreak of something happening to the entire Wales family is unimaginable. All I have to say to PW is Kobe Bryant he and his daughter were killed in a helicopter and it was supposed to be a short flight.

Lady C., I cannot tell you how much I agree with you in regards to the pomp and tradition of the British Royal Family. In a world of commonality where all examples of duty, conscience, morality and manners have disappeared, we absolutely need the continuance of the late Queen's examples of the above qualities. Her heirs must continue in these examples otherwise they will become part of a banal, woke and undistinguished society.

Poor Prince George: such a beautifully behaved young boy, and so sad that he has to be the object of snide remarks. If he were a spoilt brat, he would be roundly criticised, or his parents would be, as it's always the 'I blame the parents' syndrome. You can't win. Fine natural manners are in short supply these days and one treasures them when one encounters them.

Pathetic to be talking about Prince George, a child who should be left alone. Prince George's childhood reminds me of a typical Scottish upbringing - be respectful to others and respect your elders. Treat everyone as you would like to be treated yourself. Yes Prince George is in a privileged position and to a certain extent his life is mapped out before him but compared to millions of other children around the globe living in poverty and precarious environments he will lead a wonderful life - don't knock it.

Lady C makes a very good point about the continuity provided by a constitutional monarchy. We are still paying the security costs for U.S. Presidents who served back in the 1970's (Jimmy Carter) as well as Bill Clinton, George W. Bush , Donald Trump and Barock Obama. Changing heads of state every 4-8 years costs U.S. taxpayers a lot!

No matter what Lady, C,. I would rather have our British wonderful beloved Royal family than a president any day. I am a proper born and bred British Monarchist, as my beloved late parents reared me to be. Whenever there is a Royal celebration, with all the Pomp and Ceremony, which I love, and it makes me so proud to be British, I display my British flag. I was so lucky to have a long weekend in London last week, for our beloved King Charles's Trooping the Colour, it was a ig bonus to hear while in my hotel room that our beautiful English Rose Catherine, the Princess of Wales was able to attend her beloved father in law's, our beloved King Charles's Trooping the Colour. Although it poured with rain some of the time, it didn't dampen our British spirits. It was great that the sun came out when our beloved Royal family came out on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. The flypast was absolutely brilliant, I had an absolutely wonderful weekend.

On the question of William and family travelling together, in the long ago past this would have been the responsibilty of the Prime Minister to fully push for the family to travel separately. William needs to listen to government on this point, particularly since there is no real succession available at the moment. I do not think he should have an option on this.

The eldest children in most families are generally serious, steadfast, and responsible. There has been research done on this. William and George, who are the eldest in their families, reflect these traits.

This may be because we are expected to caretake our younger siblings, to defend them in peer settings, or to act as a role model for younger siblings. Statistically one does find a large percentage of eldests in positions that require a great deal of responsibility (medical doctors being one such example). Middles tend to be great negotiators. Interestingly, a high percentage of successful comics are youngests. So we may not be the life of the party, but we will help clean up after, and make sure your guests get home safely. So we have that going for us.😂

I have always felt that Charles Spencer was the sort of person that I would cross to the other side of the road to avoid. I thought his speech at Diana's funeral was out of order, and the fact that he has been married multiple times and that he is estranged from his rather lovely looking daughters, shows me that he isn't the nicest person, or "all that and a bag of chips."

When Harry described his father and brother as “trapped” he doesn’t realize if a person wants to be there, they are not trapped. Being born a Royal prince seems to me to be like being born male. Yes there are a few people who feel trapped in their birth gender but the vast majority accept it without any thought or consideration. Does Harry complain that he is trapped as a man for being born male? Also, while being born in the BRF has certain expectations from birth, it seems there is considerable room to maneuver. Princess Anne for example spent her youth pursuing her equestrian goals and competing in the Olympics. Perhaps there was a family agreement to let her do that while young then focus on royal duties when older, which she has certainly done.

King C should instruct William to refrain from taking all family in helicopter. Monarchy comes first. Its KC responsibility to protect its future. Hes the King. He has to show some strength at some point in its future. I like William but this is not obstinacy but arrogance. 4 heirs could be knocked out at once. Anything could happen. His mothers death should have shown him that. He shouldn't have a choice in the matter

I remember the death of Prince William of Gloucester. An experienced pilot who got overconfident and careless which resulted in a fluke accident and sadly his life.

I grew up in the heart of industrial Yorkshire and my parents had to work long and hard for every penny. They didn’t own their own home and didn’t have a car. They didn’t even have a phone. Despite this economic hardship they raised me with impeccable manners, a strong work ethic and to be generous to those less fortunate than myself. Our house was small but full of love, even though I was a latch key child. I still am amazed how much my mother taught me and really I don’t know how she knew some of these things, although I speculate she must have been in service for her to know some of these things.
