Yeh this new tory line is embarrasing. Any decent majority allows you to effectively do what you want this is no different. How is the prospect of a Labour majority any different to a crackpot Tory majority in 2019. It isn't, only this goverment was so terrible they couldn't even use that to their advantage which tells you all you need to know about their credentials. The economy was growing at 3% per annum when they left office, borrowing had under undershot forecasts, they’d kept the worst effects of the financial crisis away from High Streets and peoples homes. National debt one ONE THIRD of what it is now and we went into the financial crisis with a lower debt to GDP than Germany, France, the US. If you want to blame someone for the financial crisis start with Rishi Sunak who was part of the hedge fund who forced the sale of ABN-Amro to RBS resulting in its collapse and a £70 billion taxpayer bailout, Rishi made his millions though and took himself off to California afterwards.
