Well I’m late to the party. Just discovered this song a week or so ago while listening to Spotify. It “suggested” I would like it based on what I listen to overall. Spot on Spotify!! I am in love with this song, his voice…I can’t stop listening to it, and I can’t wait to listen to the rest of this album. I’ve been searching online for the meaning of the song, really to no avail. To me he’s speaking to God, but then there’s the “don’t keep waiting on me” verse I can’t fit into my interpretation (which could be totally wrong). What do all of you supporters out there think or know what it means? I see a lot of references to the movie it was featured in, which I haven’t seen yet. Is there a scene of the movie when this plays that implies the meaning of the song as written by WP? Sending love & peaceful vibes, from my great state of Texas, to everyone out there! ❤️ ☮️
