@@kaymuldoon3575 I first discovered him in “The Producers” (the original) then sort of forgot about him until “Fernwpod Tonight.” What a natural sense of comedic timing he had. He played a rabbi in “Radio Days” and made that character equally as funny. Not sure if he will ever top Fernwood’s “self-appointed” ambassador, though.
Kenneth Mars also appeared as Bud Prize on the episode that Gary Coleman was on, the first time I ever saw him. Mars was talking when Gary began to interrupt, and Mars immediately turned to him and said, "Lemme tellya somethin', my young fren', TALK is what started the WAR!"
Ken is partly taking off an old guy who used to help people draw on a TV show....bit like Bob Ross in a way....but he used to start from really elementary principles....few of his shows are on RU-vid.... interesting stuff....
I'm looking for the one where he brought on a cat, saying he cross bred a cat and a rabbit to invent a new animal, the cabbitt...but it was just a regular cat
I always felt like this show knew what I was interested in. ANd the guests were always intresting because they always said intresting things. And the music always brought a tap to my feet & a whistle to my walk to work at the Tastee Freez.
I just loved Frank Devol, who was a legit composer, as “Happy Kyne.”Mull’s face when the Mirth Makers play Boogie Fever says it all. Fred Willard, as usual, was clueless.
@@douglaslippertindy It's like kids today just don't have people who understood the true joy of the mirth. It's as though Frank, Fred & Martin have taken that gift unto Heaven, for it was a force which we Mortals are not ready to handle properly. R.l.P. Fellas.
