You are correct about the flag across the street. It's Hawaii's state flag. The Hawaiian Islands were once placed under the protection of England.

Similar in design on those corners of that building to Carlyle House in Alexandria, VA. Also Aquia Episcopal 1751 also has that corner detail, long-lasting detail for a great structure!

Excellent video- the engraving inside a bar reminded me of Raleigh Tavern in Williamsburg- they had the liquor in a “booth” like that to keep people from stealing it when the barkeep stepped away. Drone footage was 👍

Amazing that the house has survived hundreds of years so close to a main road. It’s seen transportation from stagecoaches to Teslas go past its door
