Why do you give this guy oxygen Michael? I liken his work as the past Minister of Broadcasting and Media to that of Joseph Goebbels, the Minister of Propaganda, during Hitler's regime. So big brain Michael, continues to sneer at Trump supporters, without regard to his record as US President, (no new wars, strong economy pre-c19, Israel/Arab peace Deal, Russia, China, NK and Iran, mostly quiet). He continues to rely on US mainstream media's opinions of Trump and the events that surround him when he knows from NZ how the media has been captured by the political left (does he really believe that has only happened here?). I can stomach all that. He's only human. But I can't stomach listening to what WJ has to say, not any more. Presumably Michael somehow still considers WJ to be worth the air time?

I can't remember now when the auspicious event occurred, but it was not recently. There was a dawning when all there ever seemed to be was the MSM broadcasting out of an echo chamber.as if there was only a common narrative to report and comment on. Like, if that's the only game in town then that's what a listener tunes into and because my Station of choice was, still I's, RNZ's National Programe, that's where the radio needle is set. I'm too freekin' old now to put up with banal high rotate commercials so the MSM Radio broadcasters got the fick. Their news broadcasts, have my trust, I've never heard any reason why my trust is misplaced. Yet, a new player entering the Frey was welcome good news. The Platform had arrived with a promise made or implied of true independent journalism aka reporting. Yet it wasn't so long, it seems now, that what promised to be fresh, telling the stories the MSM, the Platforms natural compeditor growing to being an enemy of sorts, didn't publish. This sounded promising- it really did, yet, the living truth was that negitivity, gaslighting aspects of our society disliked by the Platforms backers, subterranean dwellers, machevelian puppeteers with a useful idiot or two who would take the Kings Shilling to pump their ultra conservitive vignettes of nasty to citizens of our country who up until then were poorly represented, but now had a raft to hang onto. All the aspects of our society they hated, we being highlighted by the crusader talking heads on The Platform. It must have been difficult to find other like minded individuals suitable for Radio. Seemingly, the reason for the recruiting of the geriatric gurmudgion the has been politician and on air personality, Michael Laws. Poor Michael, he seems to be experiencing ill health with fading faculties and in desperate need of some fresh air and sunshine. Nessesery for fear of being described a pasty and insipid in his appearance. An hour or so with a make-up lady could bring some much needed color to his otherwise palid appearance. That suggestion is, BTW free. So take it for what it's worth. The Platforms most heinous motivation is to focus on and rip apart the Tangata Whenua of Aotearoa-New Zealand. If the on air pervayors of this cheap trick - no not the 70s/80s punk era band, but the Platforms almost wicked negitivly highlighting of a co pinion race group and with all the resentment a coloniser race can muster. Masquerading as free speach.yet not sanctioned by the RR council, the Platforms two main proponents of this race criticism by do this, place themselves in a superior position to Māori and by extention all people of color. It's despicable and deplorable and likely to be hurtful too. Imagine if this behavioue were reversed on Maori Radio the indignation and outcry from The Platform would thunder around the world on a vehicle of incredulity - our country would vilified by association, but lauded by outfits like the Kay, Kay, Kay. (s/b 3 k's Gotta think about algorithms). So there it is, my take on The Platforms 0700 to Noon double act and the entertainment they provide..
