I tried the QI irons from TM, T350 from titleist, AI smoke from Callaway, and g430 Ping, and the fitter handed me the Dynapower 7 iron as a last test…I was blown away with the feel, sound, impact, and distance with this club!! My dispersion was a lot tighter, and all my shots were with either baby draws or dead straight shots at 165-170 yards which was superb compared to my current irons. I had intentions of trading up my irons for the TM QI irons, but I immediately changed my path to the Dynapower !! Now I’m looking to try the Driver and woods !
Thanks Jim. I did end up getting the regular D9s, not the forged a while back. You were right, as a beginner, they are a better fit for me at this point in time. Looks like these Dynapwr clubs are a good continuation of this line. Wilson is very underrated still.
These are the best value for high handicap players. The whole lineup is great and I recommend them to anyone who would benefit from the Ping G430 line but doesn't want to pay Ping prices.
I picked up the driver and have benched my Ping. I tried the irons and they do go along ways. I didn't want to change out my irons this close to the World Amateur.... Maybe after.... This is a great line of clubs and WAY UNDERVALUED......
I purchased these irons and they are rockets. I thought this would never come out of my mouth. They are actually too long. You will need extra wedges to make up the gaps. Loved everything about it. Accept one thing? After 3 months the wear and tear was horrible. .
@@redhed9776 Face marks easily, the polish on the irons makes them look worn out and the Medallion scuffs badly in the bag. I am one of those that keeps my clubs pristine. Not a chance with these. They need head covers the bag chatter makes them look horrible. But they perform.
HI THERE FOR ME IS ONLY ONE THING WRONG WITH THESE IRONS . MINE ARE THE WILSO DYNAPOWER GRAFITE IRONS FOR 70 MPH SWING . THIS IS THE 5I AND SW , WELL TO ME AND MY PALS THE 5 LOOKS LIKE THE SW BOTH HAVE ONE LETTER AND IT LOOKS LIKE 5 BUT IN AN S SORT OF WAY . I HAVE TO MARK UNDER SW TO KNOW ITS JUST THAT . I HOPE WILSON KEEP THIS QUITE BUT REVEUES LIKE MINE WILL PROMOTE IT.
I have tried the Dynapower 7, 8 & 9 irons and have easily picked up 10 yards of distance with an improvement of accuracy. I'm 65 and am getting close to 120+ with the 9, 130+ with the 8 and 140+ with the 7. Do you think that I would continue to see 10-yard improvements thru a 6, 5 & 4 iron? I drive a Callaway Mavrik Max 10.5 just under 200 yards so I don't generate a tremendous amount of swing speed. I currently get 145 our of my Mavrik Max 6I, 155 our of the 5I and 165 out of the Mavrik Max 4I. Would be thrilled to get another 10 yards out of the Dynapower 4I. Thoughts?
Hi Jim Have I got this right: (1) 85% of golfers hit towards the toe ............ so surely they would have a bit of a toe draw as effectively the COG is heel side to their average impact area , but (2) of course the path of the club and where the face is looking are probably dominating so they still slice? Summary: Seems that golfers are going to slice no matter what!

Golfworks rates it's playability factor pretty low actually, but I realize the MPF rating by Maltby isn't the end all be all when it comes to evaluating a club.
Hi, is it me now or the club loft, well should a 70 mph swing hit a pw 135 or more ? I tried a sw 8 balls from 135 i topped two but they went 166 yds each ok it was a slight decline but those on the green went 150 yds a sw .
Hi Jim, I am a 70 year old, right handed shooting high 90s. I am looking for a new or secondhand set of irons, would this club be the right club for me with steel or graphite shafts? Do you think that I should go to a club fitting before purchasing these? I have been playing seriously for about six years.
I have these clubs and love them but I tend to overdraw them sometimes. I tried taking them to get the lie angle bent flatter and they said they couldn't bend them.
@@lawbinson I think thats when they make them at the factory. I don't think they can be bent after they have been cooled off. They probably bent them when they are very hot out of the mold before the shafts are put in.
A few things I dislike about Wilson is the warranty process is horrible,I had a issue with a Wilson wedge not to long ago,and they were extremely rude and were very hard to deal with on the warranty claim. And also years back they made a horrible business decision to get rid of majority of the field representatives for the equipment,and they broadcasted their clubs to any brick and mortar establishment with a cash register,zero respect for Wilson.Last but not least the clubs only have a 1 year warranty…..thats a cheap move for what these clubs cost. They can stay on the moon.
