I was able to pay a brief visit to WIMRAIL 2019 which was hosted by the Wimborne Railway Society and held at Queen Elizabeth's School on 16th & 17th March. This is a great exhibition with a fantastic collection of model railway layouts. I decided just to focus on one this being Bournemouth West which is just an amazing example of what can be done.....

Very handsome layout, it clearly shows what good use of colors and weathering can do. The locomotives with sound add to the realism and the spam can with synchronized steam puffs was the cherry on the cake!

watching again I think I spotted a riley rme car in the opening shots, I have a real one I restored a few years ago

Super layouts with fantastic detailing but sadly lost to poor blurred "film" such a shame, not" having a go " but for somebody like me, all that well crafted skill in bringing to life the realism and interest is totally lost
