The owner of the farm I work at has one of the camo ones in her closet! I cleaned it for her a few months ago, she never shoots it, and won’t sell it to me ! It kicks less than the GAMO magnums but it is much bigger and heavier. Very well made rifle.

I have a brand new in box one of these I received from my stepdad for my birthday. I think I'm going to try to sell it as it's not really my cup of tea. What do you think is a fair price?

Looks like a good one but it has a feature I find absolutely stupid- it has the safety where you cannot de-activate it from a firing grip because of the thumb-hole stock. That can get really irksome in the field.

The auto safety can be easily adapted to a manual safety. I don't feel it is much of an obstical with the single shot. No the carbines is a whole different story!😮👍🏻

I sent my gun to Mike he tuned my Hatsan 125 sniper in the spring version, new spring, guide, top hat, it’s was already shooting big power but when I got my gun back it was shooting JSB’s 750fps Mike is the Dude !!!

This rifle would be a good candidate for testing accuracy with a rigid bipod rest vs a soft bag/palm of your hand & sandbag type rest.

Nice review! My sons had a Winchester 850 (and still have it) several years back. Nice rifle, but it has the worst trigger I've ever felt: over 12 lbs of pull (off my scale). Somehow they managed to shoot it, but definitely not conducive to accuracy!

I have a dual barrel model 1000. The trigger is about a mile of bad road! Not too accurate but I have not tried too many pellets

You need to spend some time trying different pellets. Once you find the right one, you'll be pleasantly surprised 👍🏻

I had a couple of winchesters a few years back, and the triggers were terrible, I was never able to get good consistency . I know the gun had great potential but gave up on them because of the trigger
